Chapter 4: Machinations

Unseen by them there were tiny clicks as each woman laid down on their respective beds. The third plate being tripped sets off the trap. In that instant from under the sheets of all three beds come mechanical tendril like arms. The first tendril comes up on the left, crosses the bed above and goes back under on the right side trapping all three women's torso's to the bed as that tightens up. Four other arms come out with open manacles on their ends from the corners of the beds. Those seeking out the women's limbs wrapping about their appendage before the manacles clasp down then slides down to their wrist or ankles uncurling it's length from them.

Tamaya is in shock only letting out an eep at being trapped against the bed. Frozen her limbs don't try to escape being coiled then shackled. Kisho's mind doesn't believe what he sees but his body does. Moving quick as lightning he manages to keep one tendril from shackling her right arm holding it back. "K-Kisho?" she manages to say with her voice quavering.

Evelyn is trapped before Asher comes closer to her. "Stop!" She tells him as he reaches out to try and pry the restraints off, "Run Asher." She looks dead serious as she thinks ahead wanting to make sure no one else ends up trapped. He touches her restraint confused but seems to understand quickly enough looking towards the exit.

Fia is the quickest to realize her situation. She kicks and screams as her hands try to pull up the waist restraint. Her legs kick as she can feel the other tethers start to wrap around her legs. "Get the FUCK OFF ME!!!" She screams at the top of her lungs as the arm restraints start to trail down her arms and quickly catch her wrists. With that all five restraints sinch pulling her limbs further out centering her body on the bed.

Kai's eyes are wide in horror as he is transfixed for a moment before he sees the arms pull Fia all four directions. He dashes to her as the thought of the machines ripping her apart flashes through his mind. "Fia!" He reaches out to try and stop them but sees they stop pulling on her as the whirs and mechanisms stop.

"Kai!" She sees him pause as she shouts, "Shut off this goddamn machine!" He nods his head dumbly as he looks at the restraints following them down as he starts to peek under the bed trying to see where everything goes. His heart is beating a million beats a second and body quaking as he tries to focus on her directions.

Tamaya starts sobbing as Kisho tries to win this tug of war. Unlucky for him this tech is smart. The one connected to her other arm lets some of it's slack out and quickly snaps out at his hand before retracting back. The sting loosens his grip as the final manacle clamps down on the poor girl. "No!" Kisho growls out as he tries to stop the restraint from tightening but at this point it has the power, especially with Tamaya not fighting against it. "Kisho…" She whimpers out looking at him.

During this time Asher makes a mad dash for the front door, but as the machines accomplish their goals he smacks head first into a wall that wasn't there before on his way to the exit. Everyone hears the noise as Evelyn, Fia and Kai try to look over. "Wall." Asher says as he slowly stands back up groaning rubbing his head a little.

"Wall?!" Fia asks in a panic.
