Chapter 3: Inside the Warehouse

The place feels cavernous as old warm industrial lights hang from far above. Inside there is still no sign of another human. The vast warehouse has different materials for crafting. There are signs showing where wallpaper, bedding, bed frames, mattresses, etc are located. Though it's the central open area that draws them in.

They see what looks like three bedroom template showrooms. They all have slat walls behind them that show swatches that were in the lobby. All three display different queen size four poster beds in their center. The frames are all made of metal but with different finishes.

The center display has a forest theme to everything. The steel curves into flowers at the top of the four poster bed. The sheets are warm forest greens and the floor has a rich chocolate brown painted on it. The walls have wallpaper mimicking woods. Draping over the four posters are sheer fabrics that give the feel of a waterfall.

The left bedroom has a galaxy feel with a black floor. The back wall has a dark blue diamond pattern on it. The four posters arch up strong and split at the top almost like starbursts. Hanging down from them is sheer fabric that has a galaxy feel to them. The sheets are dark purple, almost black with the comforters having a geometric pattern on them.

Finally, the right room display has an ivory old world feeling to it. The wallpaper has an old wall fresco printed on it. The four poster steel has a thin round column look to them. From above drapes dusty rose sheer fabrics. The blankets themselves have a clean quilted look on them. The floors give the impression of quartz.

"Looks like we have a place to sleep." Evelyn says as she gravitates towards the classical room. Asher nods saying, "Three beds for three lovely ladies. For us," he gestures to himself and the other guys, "we can forage through the warehouse to put together our beds." 

Kai's tummy grumbles again saying, "That is nice but it's still not food." Fia sighs with frustration as she looks at Kai saying, "Maybe we'll just have to be hungry for a little bit. Be thankful for what we've found. Warmth and beds in a warehouse district!" He comes over towards the galaxy display Fia is looking at saying, "Sorry."

Tamaya is drawn to the center forest room as she reaches over and touches the sheer waterfall fabric smiling. Kisho comes over towards her as he glances about asking, "Why do you think this is set up in the middle of the warehouse. Don't you think it's a little odd?"

"I don't know." Tamaya says as she decides to get on and try the bed finding it so cozy. "Mmmn I dunno probably for a play. I once went to a granite warehouse. They moved product outside and used the place for a play on the weekends." She spreads out on the bed letting out happy little hums as she says, "Ooh these mattresses are amazing! Girls you have to try them!"

Fia needs no invitation as she lays down on her bed realizing it felt wonderful. Evelyn takes a moment feeling the iron columns and the sheets. Her hands press against the mattress curiously before she climbs on hers and lays down saying, "Very nice." A smile starts to appear at the corner of her mouth, but that only lasts a moment. Suddenly they all hear a weird whirring noise before everything changes.
