After a night of airing out the basement Carl was down there again, the wedding wasn't until six so he had some time to paint more while he waited for everything. Instead of getting Shelia to make him a vest like she wanted, he went ahead and bought himself a suit, even though it was a waste of money as he was a growing boy after all.

At the moment he was working on wall number two with a mask covering his face because of the fumes, he of course had the small window open but it didn't really help that quickly. Carl was also just wearing shorts only as he didn't want to accidentally get paint on any of his clothes, he had thrown out all the old ones and the new ones he had he wasn't willing to risk.

"Carl?! You down here?" Carl faintly heard over the music he was playing, looking over he saw Sophia walking down the squeaky stairs.

Pausing his music he looked over to her, "Yeah, what's up?"

"Nothing, thought I would see if you wanted to hang out today. What are you doing?"

"Painting, then I have a wedding later tonight. So I am kind of busy today."

She sighed taking a seat at the bottom two steps, "Damn it, I wanted to hang out. Well do you mind if I paint with you?"

"Sure." He said shrugging as he got out another paint brush, she could finish the wall he was on and he could do the other, by then he could finish the last himself. Maybe not the mural he wanted but he could start it, maybe, "You can start on that wall over there."

She smiled happily taking the brush and following his lead of using the black paint, not that it was that hard to follow as he set it up for her to use, "So, what is this about a wedding?"

"Nothing major. Kevin and Veronica are just getting married tonight, it isn't a big ceremony or anything, just something quick at the Alibi Room."

"Oh."

Carl could hear something in her tone, he was sure that she was interested when he caught her looking at him from the side of her eye, he was laughing on the inside seeing that. Going back to painting he hummed while focusing on the wall, every few moments he would hear the light clearing of Sophia's throat as she would look over at him.

He wasn't even sure she noticed that she was painting the same spot over and over again, "Oh Sophia!"

"Yes?!" She said excitedly looking away from the wall she was painting.

"I forgot to give you a mask to cover your face, sorry, that must be why you need to clear your throat so much." He said with a smile handing her the mask, though in the inside he was laughing looking at her.

Sophia pouted but took the mask and put it on, he didn't have a problem asking her to come with him to the wedding, he was sure no one would mind, he just felt like messing with her. Thirty minutes later he noticed she was glaring at the wall as she painted it, though he did have to compliment her on how well she was painting it, he didn't see any streaks at all as she worked.

"So Sophia?" He called catching her attention, "Want to be my date to the wedding tonight?"

She squealed behind the mask throwing the paint brush to the floor and rushing him, her arms wrapped around him in a hug jumping up and down, "Oh, Yes! Yes! Yes! I would love to be your date to the wedding, I need to go home and get ready!"

Before he could stop her she rushed up the stairs and he sighed, looking at the wall she was working on it was half down, well at least she did that much giving him easier work. Shooting her a text for the time to be there he finished his wall, she had left before he could even tell her the time to meet, there was still four hours until the time.

Eventually Carl made it to the last wall, it was opposite to the one with the stairs, he planned to put his bed there, starting half way up he started to make the outline of the picture he was going to making. It was finally time for him to start using the other colors that he had bought though he didn't think he would finish it before he needed to leave.

Using a small ladder he made the outline of a giant snake, it coiled at the bottom and stood proudly at the top with its mouth open tongue outstretched and fangs shinning. Carl was using his imagination to make it, he had chosen what he thought a basilisk would look like, his favorite animal was the snake after all so why not have it right above him.

He had just finished painting the yellow eyes when his alarm went off, it was time for him to get ready for the wedding, considering he had been painting all day that is what he was smelling like at the moment. Rushing upstairs he noticed that no one was home which was a given seeing as the girls went to Shelia's to get ready, Lip was probably gone to pick up Karen and Ian was out with Kash for the night.

Taking a shower he quickly finished and then started to put on his tux, it wasn't overly pricey since he couldn't afford the best but it was a nice enough one for the event they were holding. Finishing up he took off out the house, Sophia had messaged saying that she would meet him over at the Alibi Room, he took his skateboard before taking off down the street.

As he made it to the bar he saw Sophia standing out front, he smiled as he approached her, "Hello there!" He said smiling.

"Hey!" She said cheerfully as she waved at him.

"Let's go inside." He said taking her hand and leading her in, she just followed along with a bounce in her step.

The moment they walked in they saw everything set up for the wedding Father Pete was standing near the bar looking upset, but there was nothing he could do about his situation. Carl ignored him as he hugged Fiona who kept looking towards the door as more people walked in, he rolled his eyes already knowing who she was looking for.

Grabbing their seats they didnt need to wait long for the wedding to start, it was a simple on with the basic vows and talks, it was over in less then an hour with the way they did things. After was the immediate start of the after party or reception, but it had to be called an after party considering that besides his family along with the main two people no one else knew it was a fake wedding.

"Let's dance!" Sophia said with a smile while pulling Carl towards where everyone else was having fun.

He shrugged but didn't deny her as he started to dance, at first he was awkward about it before he was able to finally get into it, mainly because he wasn't always the best dancer. Though that seemed to change as he was actually able to keep up with the rhythm of the music playing he was actually having a good time dancing with Sophia.

"Go Liam! Go Liam!" They started to chant as the little guy was bouncing to the music smiling at the praise of everyone else.

"So what is it this time?" Sophia asked him as they were eating sliders at a table nearby.

"What do you mean?" Carl asked as he smiled out to his family, though he did notice Lip leading Karen into the bathroom.

"Come on, you can't lie to me. I know that something has to be happening for this wedding to be happening, there is no way Veronica wouldn't want something bigger then this, plus the priest has looked pissed all day." She explained with a raised brow.

He laughed out loud, no one paid him any attention though as the music was to loud for them to even be heard really, he had to lean across the table just to hear Sophia talk actually. Seeing that his laughing wouldn't get him out of the question he answered, "Fine it goes like this..."

So he explained to her everything before she nodded while rolling her eyes at everything, "Only on the Southside."

He nodded at that.

"Hey Carl come on." Kevin said walking over to them.

"What's up?" He asked standing.

"Well seeing as you are all the closest thing I have to family, then come and get in this family photo." Kevin said with a big smile.

It was kind of sad to hear really though it was true, Kevin was put into the system at a young age and didn't know his real family, but he was also happy that Kevin considered them to be his family.

They all posed smiling happily as Kevin set the camera on a self timer to go off, "Cheese!" They all shouted as it took the picture though laughed as Kevin didn't know if he set it right.

"Hey, where's Lip?" Fiona asked looking around causing Carl to laugh as him and Karen hadn't left the bathroom yet.
