[WELCOME TO HELGUM]

"Wow!"Jaden couldn't help but exclaim in surprise seeing the gigantic silver gate and the mighty strong-looking protection walls surrounding the entire kingdom.

Lily saw the surprise on her master's face and started telling him more about the kingdom.

"Both the gate and walls you see here were built by his majesty 'Gilbert Varnhagen' the first king of Helgum who is the great great great×10 grandfather of the current king. He started building it when there were signs of the first World War in 1764 and completed it 30 years in 1794 when the third world war was about to start. It was built from the best and hardest stone found in the whole world and was reinforced by more than 600 000 high magicians. So penetrating it is impossible unless you are a cultivator at the Overlord spirit realm you or an SSS rank Ranker.....

Lily kept on telling Alex about the history of the gate and he listened attentively. When he heard Lily talk about cultivators and Graders he immediately got interested and asked about them.

"Ohh, sorry for not telling you about such an important thing master" .

"*sigh*. How many times do I have to tell you not to bow your head?" Alex said shaking his head with both his hands on both sides of his waist.

" I'm sorry master but servants have to bow before their masters so..."

Alex knew where this was going and interrupted her.

" Don't servants also have to listen to what their masters say. If you bow one more time this master will punish you." Alex warned with a perverted smile on his face

Lily raised her head and looked at Alex's mighty handsome face that could put the actors on earth to shame and immediately understood what he meant by 'punish' when she saw the perverted smile on his face.

*Gulp*

" now that's over, tell me about the cultivators and these graders. Just tell me everything"

Lily nodded and started summarising everything related to magic, grading cultivation and so on.

"In this world, once a child reaches the age of 4, he or she is tested for his core magic affinity at the MAGIC AFFINITY TESTING CENTRE (MATC). Once you are tested you can either be an elementalist or a caster. Elementalist are those who can manipulate elements such as water, earth, wind, fire, space, and so on while casters are those who can manipulate magic particles in the air to cast different types of spells. I myself am an elementalist at the 'E' rank, I can use wind, water and space.

After being tested for your affinities, you go to the MAGIC TALENT TESTING ZONE (MTTZ) where you'll be tested for your core talent. Core talents differ based on color. Pink, yellow, orange, red, black, purple and white are the seven different core colours with pink being the lowest and white being the highest. "

" Tell me more"Jaden was excitedly jumping up and down like a little kid. Being a person who came from earth where technology reigned supreme without any magic, he couldn't help himself.

Lily seeing her master's childlish behaviour Lily sighed and continued telling.

"Cultivators are commonly casters since they have a deep connection with nature thus can attract magical particles in the air with different types of techniques. They have their respective rankings :

Beginer - 50 magic.

Apprentice - 150 magic.

Master - 300 magic.

Grandmaster - 800 magic.

Underlord- 900 magic.

Lord - 1000 magic.

Overlord - 1500 magic.

Archloard- 2000 magic.

Sage- 4000

Saint- 6000

demi-Ascendent- 100 000 magic"

Alex's eyes widened as he heard Lily's words. 'these people are monsters!' Alex thought. Lily then continued from where she had left off.

"Rankers are those who don't have much connection with nature and are mostly elementalists. Their power mostly comes from fighting beasts and doing lots physical training.The magic they have determines their control over their respective elements. They also have their own rankings:

F rank-200 magic

E rank-500 magic

D rank - 700 magic

C rank - 900 magic

B rank- 1500 magic

A rank- 3000 magic

S rank- 9000 magic

SS rank- 10 000 magic

SSS rank- 100 000 magic"

"more! more!."

"Master, we should get home before your grandfather and the other family members comes looking for you and we've been standing here for a long time that the guards are starting to get suspicious of us." Lily told him that she couldn't keep telling him and should get home before his family starts to look for him.

Alex looked at the guards and saw the weird look of caution directed at them and decided to listen to Lily.

Lily saw her master nodding with a dispirited look on his face and decided to continue telling him later when they reach home.

Lily and Alexander started walking to the gate guard and Lily retrieved two ids supposedly one belonging to Alex and showed them to the guard.

After Checking the two ids and making sure they weren't fake, he gave them back. Alex noticed a gleant of contempt that glimmered in the guard's eyes when he saw the id.

" 6 Gold coins to enter"said the guard.

Lily looked at the guard with a face full of disbelief which only turned into anger the next moment.

"I thought it was 3 silver coins, since when did the price get high and I also heard you charging that tourist 3silver." She said with a slightly raised voice probably to get the surrounding people's attention so that they could help her but unfortunately for her, nobody did that.

There were four types of coins used in their continent which were Royal coins, gold coins, silver coins and copper coins. Royal coins were the highest form of currency in the entire Eastern continent and copper coins were the lowest. Maybe they were made for commoners.

1Royal coin= 1000 gold coins

1 Gold coin= 1000 silver coins.

1 Silver coin= 1000 copper coins.

Lily couldn't just take out 6gold coins and give them to him just like that. Those coins were more that enough to feed a family of 12 for their entire lives yet they were being demanded to pay such a price to enter, no way.

"Lower your voice young lady, It was the 6th prince's order. Anyone from the Geistar family should pay 3 gold to enter and since there are two of you the price is double."

"you-you...."

Alex saw what was happening and decided to step up. He couldn't stand still seeing someone harassing his beautiful maid and still call himself her master. He also noticed that the guard was looking at her with lust.

" Old sir, we don't have that much money on us, so please let us pass." he called him old sir because the guy was about 40 or so which was thrice his age plus, he didn't know his name.

"Damn brat get lost if you can't pay up" The guard was annoyed.

Alex and Lily kept on refusing to pay the 6 gold coins which made the guard angry. I

The guard snatched the two ids in Lily's hand and spat on them and dropped them on the ground before stomping them with his leg.

"HOW DARE YOU DO THAT TO MASTER'S ID. DIE!"

After Lily saw what the guard did to her master's id, she got angry and was about to attack him however,

"WHO DARES INSULT MY GRANDSON"

Lily was just about to attack when she heard a familiar voice behind the guard and she respectively bowed her head all anger in her disappeared.

"This maid greets the old master master."
