I followed what you said and learned everything that I know." She sobbed. "You know me...but I do not know you." The man held her even tighter. "I am still the one who loves you with all my life. Please, don't leave me." She felt helpless. "Was I just a doll that you carry around? Was I a toy that you groomed and played with?" She gritted her teeth. "Was I just your little doll?" Part 38: Iris Siren

Iris's eyes were dead. The sadness that she felt made her gold blonde hair turn dull and dirty in color. Her green tail used to shine brightly like her confidence but now, it's matted and dark. Her body is weak and her reactions and reflexes were delayed.

Kosair looks at her cousin and he didn't expect that her condition was this bad.

Iris turned to look at Kosair and nodded. "I was selfish and truly foolish back then. Even though I thought I found true love, destiny proved me wrong." She started. "I realized I was wrong after what happened. I felt bad for my true soulmate and therefore, I wanted Malnivero to make me a contract to erase our memories and just be happy."

Malnivero nodded. "The life will return to her eyes and her tail will shine again. Kole will be helping in setting up their first meet which will happen after she signs the contract."

Kosair looked at both of them in disbelief. He was so wrong when he thought that Malnivero was really a bad person. He just gives whatever people deserve when signing the contract.

Kole. He remembered Kole. If only the sirens with bad intentions have bad conditions, then Kole signed a contract with something sinister.

Kosair looked at Malnivero who was looking at Iris signing on the contract.

"Now, witness the magic of destiny." Malnivero looked at Kosair.

Iris Siren stood back up and she closed her eyes. Golden light circled her and after a moment, Iris looked like how she looked before her great grief. Her dead eyes came back with life. Her green tail shines and a smile came back to her lips.

Iris looked at Kosair and smiled. "Kosair! You're signing a contract as well?"

Kosair looked at Malniveor with a look.

Malnivero nodded. "He is just asking some questions about my new potions. Now, go to the east of Coral City. I hear your cousin, Kole is waiting for you."

Iris happily nodded and waved goodbye to both sirens. "I'll see you soon, Kosair. Thank you so much, Malnivero."

Kosair stayed silent until he couldn't see his cousin anymore.

After her cousin leaves the cave, Kosair immediately opened his mouth to question Malnivero.

Malnivero answered before the prince could ask. "Destiny tampered her memory. She only remembers coming here to give an invitation from the royal family and not signing a deal to be with her soulmate."

Kosair asks. "What about the other siren?"

Malnivero rolled up Iris' contract and puts it in another bottle. "Kole's in charge of making up with an excuse. It's one of his conditions." Malnivero realizes his mistake of mentioning the prince's twin with his condition. He curses himself under his breath as he set the bottle on the shelf along with the other contracts.

Kosair then remembered. "What did my brother want with you?"

Malnivero stayed silent for a moment. "I'm afraid that's confidential."

"I'm his twin."

"Please respect your twin's privacy."

Kosair now feels desperate. "I'm worried about him and whatever he's going to do. He's the heir to the throne and I want him be alive."

Malnivero looked at Kosair from his remark. "The heir is not you? I'm afraid you're wrong." He goes around his desk and puts a hand on the prince's shoulder. "Trust your brother. Believe me, even though he had bad intentions as he made the deal, it was for the best of everyone around you."

Kosair nodded, trying to digest this contradicting information. "I'll be on my way then. I want to help them Kole and Iris." The prince said with a bit of enthusiasm in his voice. "Thanks...for today."

Malnivero nodded.

"Anything for great and the good...and for Destiny."
