"Harvey would not lie to me this much." every word was filled with hurt. The man held her in a tight hug that prevented her to escape from his arms. "I have relied on you for so long. I followed what you said and learned everything that I know." She sobbed. "You know me...but I do not know you." The man held her even tighter. "I am still the one who loves you with all my life. Please, don't leave me." She felt helpless. "Was I just a doll that you carry around? Was I a toy that you groomed and played with?" She gritted her teeth. "Was I just your little doll?" Part 36: The Cure

Malnivero makes the prince sit down on one of the corals in his lair while he goes through the shelves of potions and antidotes. He thought to himself 'It's best that he doesn't know. Destiny is being unfair to him right know and all I can do it to temporarily stop the pain he's experiencing.'

Kosair sat, reflecting on his actions yesterday when he talked to Caroline and almost killing her. 'We can never be together even if I didn't push her away. I would be dead after the war.' He sighed. 'I'll gladly let Kole rule than me.'

Malnivero clenched his jaw, preventing himself from talking more about Destiny and his plot. He promised not to tell Kosair but he wanted to give Kosair a fair answer and make him understand destiny.

He then remembered that Kosair convinced himself that it was his fault and he is feeling ill because of rejecting his soulmate and fate of Destiny but in reality, it was something different. Malnivero looked at Kosair who had his head in his hands and thinks to himself 'Maybe it's really just for the best if he didn't know.'

Malnivero then thinks of a doable solution. Since Destiny ordered him to do whatever is best for the situation, he plotted Kosair's fate. He took one of his old papers and started to write a contract. A contract subtle conditions and hidden consequences written between the lines.

"Prince, come close. I have a deal for you." Malnivero called the prince. Kosair's eyes rang as he heard the words coming from the siren-witch. It was what his twin, Kole, warned him of. Kosair swam near the siren-witch who is quickly writing a deal with his magical pen made out of siren tears and a blessing from Destiny himself. After a good while of writing, Malnivero showed the prince his contract.

Kosair took Kole's advice and read the contract three times, making sense and reasoning out of every word and make sure that there is nothing sneaky about it.

Kosair read the last lines. "Temporary melt the pain until the master gets his gain. After he wins, the pain will never come again. Happiness eternal til you reach the end." This was the only line for Kosair that made him think second thoughts.

'It will definitely make my pain go away.' Kosair thought to himself. '...But maybe it'll also grant happiness for me and Caroline until the end' He continued. 'The curse only lasts for a while after all.

Kosair pursed his lips and sets his mind straight. He thought that Malnivero doesn't even know that Caroline is a siren anyway and thinks that the contract won't affect her. He looked at the contract one last time. He looked over the line 'For the siren to feel no more pain, joy eternal will be granted to the soulmate, granting serenity to the brokenhearted.'

"Sign away, prince." Malniveor hands him his magical pen and Kosair slowly took it.

Kosair nodded. "Her happiness is my happiness." He said with a smile. "As long as she's happy, I'll be overjoyed." He silently whispered to himself. Kosair signs his name under the contract and a golden aura fills the lair, brightening everything, making Kosair look around the siren-witch's lair in a new light. Some of the aurae gathered around Kosair and Malnivero.

'I guess that's Destiny's victory.' Malnivero said as he looked at the prince admiring the golden aura that is actually distracting him from extracting his gift to connect with his soulmate.

Malnivero takes another magical pen from under his table and carefully takes back the contract, writing three new conditions that the prince will never read. 'I hope for serenity and clarity.' Malnivero hid his pen back and placed back the contract.

"I feel better." Kosair looks back at the siren-witch. "Much...better."
