Chapter Thirteen

After last week's Disney Marathon, we all separated into our rooms and went to sleep, but I'm way too scared to sleep alone. Whenever I'm alone I feel like I am back in the cold room looking at the lonely ominous tree. Then I remember all the events that happened after that and it really scares me. Thank god my mates don't ever leave me alone now.

Whenever they have to go on a mission they always leave one person at the house. I've also learned more about werewolves and all that sort of stuff. I didn't even know that werewolves existed, let alone I was one.

Apparently, you can shift from your human-looking form into a wolf form. They said that I should shift soon, but they also said that every werewolf has a 'wolf' in their head. I don't really get what that means, but they said it basically means that you have another person in your head that takes control of your body when you shift. I don't know if I want to shift. I might accident;y hurt them or something like that and I won't be able to live with myself if I end up hurting them.

They also said that werewolves are separated into three different genders.

There are alphas, which is what they all are, who are generally stronger, dominant, controlling, and protective. Alphas (male or female) can impregnate any omega and any female beta. Alphas also have this thing called a 'rut' every two months, which they never told me what it meant. They said that around 30% of the population are alphas.

There are also omegas, which is apparently what I am, who are generally weaker, smaller, submissive, quiet, fearful, and adorable. All omegas can get pregnant, but can't impregnate someone. They said omegas have 'heats' every two months and all they told me was that 'it feels like your body is on fire and the only thing that can put it out is your mates'. I don't really get what that means, and it scares me to think that I'll have a 'heat' soon. They also said that only 10% of the werewolf population are omegas.

The other gender is betas, they can be dominant or submissive and are stronger than most omegas(but not stronger than alphas). Male betas can impregnate female betas and images, but male betas can't be pregnant. Beta's are lucky because they don't have 'heats' or 'ruts'. They said that 60% of the werewolf population are betas.

Another really cool thing about werewolves is that they can talk to each other without using their voice! It's called a 'mind link' and it is used for communicating with each other when on a hunt.

"Joonieeee," I said as I saw Joonie Hyung get up, "Don't leave meeeee!"

"Just give me second baby," Joonie Hyung said, "I just have to quickly go to the bathroom then I'll be back."

I pouted but still nodded my head. I had been shuffling who I sleep with every night because we don't have a bed that is big enough for all of us to sleep together on yet. Jin Hyung says that the mattress is coming and so is the bed frame, but we would have to clean and pick what room it would go in.

"Alrighty," Joonie Hyung says walking back into the room, "Let's go have some breakfast Bun!" I blush at the nickname before following him downstairs. We walk through the kitchen and into the dining room smiling seeing everyone except Yoongi sitting there. Me and Joonie Hyung take a seat admiring all the food on the table.

"Ah, took you, sleepyheads, long enough!" Jin Hyung said looking at us, "We've been waiting for you forever!"

"Now we just need to wait for grandpa to come own before we can eat." Jiminie Hyung said.

"The hell did you just call me?" A deep voice growls in the doorway, "I would beat your ass if I wasn't tired and hungry, Jiminie Pabo."

Jiminie Hyung flinched at the sound of the voice before relaxing realizing it was just Yoongi. "Yeah right."

"Excuse me?" Yoongi Hyung said stepping into the light starring daggers at Jimine Hyung.

"I doubt that you would be able to 'beat my ass' even if you tired. You are way to soft. That's why your name in the group chat is Little Meow Meow." Jiminie Hyung said.

"I am not soft!" Yoongi Hyung tried to argue back. They kept arguing until their threats began to be serious things.

"OKAY! SHUT UP!" Jin Hyung yelled at them. "I KNOW WE ARE CLOSE TO OUR RUT'S BUT THAT DOESN'T MEAN THAT YOU CAN START YELLING FOR ABSOLUTELY NO REASON!"

"Sorry Hyung" Each of them mumbled before sitting back down.

My eyes were huge. They are going to have their ruts soon? Does that mean that they will tell me what a rut is?

"Let's just eat, and pretend that the whole argument never happened." Joonie Hyung said calmly.

Everyone else responded with a "yep" or a "yes Hyung" before starting to eat.
