Chapter 4: The Ceremony Commence Now!

The village chief who is now standing on the platform clears his throat.

"Cough,cough"

Everyone looked at him when they heard him cough.

"Everyone who is qualified to join the ceremony please line up in front" said the village chief.

And every participant hurriedly lined up in front of him, there are only 15 participants this year, this number is considered as outstanding for a small village like Bastra, but for other bigger village its just the minimum number, we can see the difference between villages based on the number of beast contractor they produced every two years.

The village chief looked at he participants and he nodded with a look of satisfaction on his face.

"Today is the most important day for our young generation because today will be start of their journey as a beast contractor!"

After the village chief said those words people started shouting and cheering.

"The participants of the ceremony will be staying on Crimson leaf forest for half a month to look for a savage beast that they can tame, it's is not just a ceremony but also a test to see if you have what it takes to be a beast contractor, because beast contractor who cannot tame savage beast from the wild is not a true beast contractor"

The participants showed expression of eagerness and excitement after they heard those words, they can't wait to prove their ability.

"During the ceremony participants can only access the outskirts of the Crimson leaf Forest you cannot enter the inner area or else you will bring danger to yourself"

The participants all nodded their heads meaning they understand what the village chief meant, there must be a really powerful and dangerous savage beast living in the inner area.

"You can bring your own supplies,weapons, or anything that can help you during your stay in the forest, bow that I said the rules and reminders, I now announce that the beast contractor ceremony commence now!"

Loud cheering can be heard from the villagers and the participants, clearly they are a excited about the ceremony.

While everyone was cheering the village chief took a step back from the platform and he touched the ring on his left middle finger and a bright light appears in front of him, after the light disappeared, a Tiger that is one meter tall and two meters long appeared in front of the village chief, it has white fur and a moon mark on its forehead. 

Everyone was stunned to see such a terrifying wolf in front of them, some took a few steps back unconsciously because of the aura that is emanating from the big wolf.

"Moon Tiger!"

One participant shouted which took the attention of everyone.

Kali looked at the Moon Tiger with shocked expression and he recalled the information of the Moon tiger that he read from the beast book in the library.

Skills: beast claw, tail whip, bite, dark slash, shadow dash,moon beam,

-Moon tigers are rare tiger race savage besst, because they don't like interacting with other beast much less humans, they have a wide range of skills which makes them a strong beasts that no one wants to provoke.

Though Moon Tigers are rare what shocked Kali was the stage of the Moon tiger, it's a master stage savage beast, one can determine the stage of a moon tiger from the moon mark on its forehead, and the mark on the chief's moon tiger much clearer than those described on the book.

Beast Contractor s and savage beast has the same number of stages, beginner,apprentice,master,grandmaster,Lord,King, and emperor. And every stage there are five levels.

A beginner can only tame one savage beast because of their weak dominance and they cannot tame savage beast in the master stage or they will not be able to control them, beginner level beast contractors can only tame beginner and apprentice stage savage beast, the same rule applied for higher stage beast contractor the strongest beast they can tame is a beast on stage higher than their stage.

After the commotion caused by the Moon Tiger the village chief hopped on the back of his savage beast.

"Everyone follow me to the crimson leaf forest!"

The village chief shout caught the attention of the participants and they immediately ran after the Moon Tiger with the chief on its back. The Moon Tiger didn't run at full speed or else everyone will be left in the dust including Kali,

They run for about thirty minutes when the tiger stopped and they can see a sea of trees with crimson colored leaf in front of them ,the forest got its name from the unique tree that grows in it, when the participants saw the beautiful scenery in front of their tired bodies slowly stood up appreciate the scene.

"This place will be your home for the next fifteen days, bow everyone enter the forest, becareful, and remember what I said you are not allowed to enter the inner are"

Said the village chief.

Everyone nodded putting importance to the chief's reminder after that they enter the forest, they ran off to different durections so that they won't meet each other and lessen the number of competition for opportunities.
