-Kara-
I couldn't eat. I couldn't sleep
Summoning so much power took a massive toll on my body that all I could do was writhe in pain until it ended

I slowly open my eyes
Krista was resting her head on my lap
"Hmm?" She looks up "Kara!" She jumps on top of me
"Heheh, hey…" I chuckle painfully
"Are you okay?"
"Yeah, I'm fine"
"You sure?" She asks again
"Yeah… why?"
"Oh… well…"
I try raising my hand to pat her head but my arms… they were strapped down to the bed
"What's this?"
"You were in so much pain… we had to… well…"
"What? Why?"
"They're calling it an Intractable Migraine" we hear Levi at the door
"Migraine? Like a headache?"
"Yeah, only it lasted well over 200 hours"
"The pain was so immense that you tried…" Krista stops as she cuts the rope
"We had to strap you down" Levi adds "it was the only way to make sure you didn't kill yourself"
"Yeah…" Krista sighs
"Rest, for now. You got some catching up to do." he says before heading out

"Oh… man" I raise my hand
It was trembling
Like bad
I reach over for the cup of water
"W-wait" Krista tries stopping me but instead of grabbing it I knock it over
"Wh-what?"
What the hell is wrong with me?
"Your body's too weak… you were out for three weeks. It's a miracle you're even alive" she grabs a rag from the cabinet to clean the water
"Oh…"
"Alright" she finishes
She sits up on my lap before reaching for the bowl of oatmeal
"Wh-what are you…" I lean back as she lead the spoon into my mouth
"What are you doing?!" She pouts
"I can feed myself, Krista." I try taking the bowl
"Y-you what?" She yanks it back before I could take it
"You're not feeding me. I can do it myself!" I raise my voice
"Oh No. You are not doing this." she presses her finger on my chest "you better put that stupid pride of yourself aside before you end up starving yourself, mister"
I turn around
"I'd rather starve" I stand up
"What is wrong with you?!"
"What?!" I growl "What's wrong with me? Are you crazy? What the hell do you think?!"
"Y-you have to-"
"Just get off! Seriously, I don't need you or anyone breathing down my fucking neck!"
…
"Nobody is…" she tears up "you haven't eaten for weeks, Kara.. I just want to see you eat something." her voice trembles
"Krista…"
Why is she crying?
I back off
"Kara…" she whimpers before I shut myself inside the bathroom
I had to take a burning hot bath because I couldn't balance it out
Even so, no matter how hot it got
Seriously… What the hell am I?
What is going on?

The one person I ever wanted to see one day is… dead… and I couldn't save her
What did I do to… deserve this?
I lay in the bath until I finally decided to finish washing up
The whole bathroom was foggy so once I opened the door it spread out into the room
Krista was still laying in bed cuddling with the bowl of oatmeal
She slowly sits up

I lay in bed and I look away the moment our eyes met
She carefully raises the spoon

After about a week I was finally well and she didn't have to feed me anymore
"S-stop it, Kara" she moans as I kiss her all over
"What?" I pull my head back
"I…" she blushes
"What is it? C'mon stop being silly, it'll be your birthday in about two…"
She frowns
"One week?"
She smiles
"Okay… but don't-"
The door opens before she could finish
"We need to talk" Hange says
"About?"
…
Keisha frowns after Hange just leaves without saying another word
"C'mon" I help her out of bed
We join Hange outside after getting changed
"First I'm going to need a urine sample"
"A what?"
"Urine. During the three weeks you were out, you couldn't eat or drink any water. Yet you're still alive"
Don't see how that a bad thing
"Well yeah but-"
"We'll also be taking a blood sample." She cuts me off
"Please make sure Kara doesn't just pour water in the urine sample this time" she hands Krista the cup
"Wh-what? Okay" Krista takes it
What the hell is up with her?
I look at Krista
She shrugs
I follow her to the bathroom and we do as we were told
Hange took the cup and she took samples of both our blood

"Pastor Nick said he is willing to talk but only in your presence" Hange breaks the silence just as he walks into the room
"Pastor…" I nod as Hange finished up
"Do you know of your presumed 'fathers' history?" The Pastor asks with an open book
"Can't say I do."
"Over ten thousand years ago, Amaterasu blessed his daughter, Ymir, with a child and the power to coordinate the millions of giants who reside within the walls of our kingdom."

"What?! C'mon!" Hange growls
"Well.. It is said that eons later, King Karl Fritz took a portion of his kingdom and with the power of her Titans he erected three walls blocking himself and his people from the outside world. Why he did that is unknown"
