Ch. 48 The Dead Prince

Pov.

-Kara-

I dig Susanoo into Ymir's head

"Kara no!" Krista shouts

I turn around

"Krista?"

"Stop. I'm going with them!" she grabs my wrist

"Are you crazy?!"

"No, they'll kill her if I don't go!"

"Is that what she said?"

"I-I can't let them hurt her…"

I look around

Eren, Bertolt, and Annie were sitting on Reiners shoulder

They haven't noticed me yet

I hold my hand out

Krista takes my hand and I help her up

"Th-thank you, K-" before she'd finish I shove her over the edge

I watch as Odin jumps into the air and gulps Krista down

"Arf!" he barks

Did he just swallow her?

"Krista!" Ymir roars as she pulls herself out from her Titan

I jump up grabbing Susanoo before I land in front of Ymir

Ymir looks up at me

She had tears streaming down her face

I quickly shove my hand into her chest

"Kghk" she chokes as I wrap my fingers around her heart

"Take care of her" she sniffs

…

"Goodbye.. Ymir"

I tear her heart out of her chest

Her eyes widen

Then her head rolls down

I raise her heart over my head

I take a little whiff before swallowing the entirety of it

I felt a sudden little shock down my spine

The sudden rush of lust and adrenaline clouded my thoughts

"Ymir!" I hear Annie "Riener, he took Ymir out!" she draws her blade

I jump off Ymir's Titan corpse before Reiner reached behind, grabbing Ymir

I watch as he drops her into his mouth before gulping her down

"Eren!" I hear Mikasa before Reiner used his hands to cover his comrades

"Shit!" I join Mikasa

"Let him go"

"Yeah, come on out you two" we glare at Bertolt through the gap between Rieners fingers

"Bertolt, what the hell are you guys doing?!" Connie shouts

"Shut up! You don't know anything!" Annie growls

"You were like family, we spent day and night living together for years…" Armin says

"Stop trying to convince these pigs" I cut him off

"Shut up, you stupid devil!" Annie growls

"C'mon Annie" I smile "you know there's only a matter of time till my tail grows back. Just come out and play. You know you want to, babe." I smile widely

"Shut up… shut up!" She digs her fingernails into her scalp

"Annie, don't listen to him!"

…

"Fall back!" We hear Hannes

"What?!" Mikasa growls

"Erwins leading a horde of Titans!" He shouts

"Erwin, this crazy son of a-"

I look around

"Mikasa…"

She nods

I jump onto a 10 meter

I take it's nape out just before the two hordes slam into each other

I take Titan after titan down till Mikasa finally finds an opening for Eren

She jumps straight in for him

"No!" Annie gasps before I slam my foot on her chest, sending her flying into a titans mouth

I back off and land on top of Odin

"Fall back!" I raise my blade

"Operation retrieve the allied Titans is a success!" Erwin shouts

"Hey!" Connie joins us with Sasha and Jean

"Does this mean we're elites?" He asks

"Maybe, as long as you obey my orders" I shrug

"Haha, awesome" he giggles with Sasha

"It's not over yet, we still have to make it to Sina" Levi adds

"Oh c'mon give us a little break, man" Connie sighs

"You never know what might-" before Levi could finish there an explosion that sent us flying off our rides

"Aw… f-fuck" I pull myself out from under Odin

"What was that?" Eren grumbles

"That maniac is chucking Titans at us!" Connie shouts as Reiner threw another Titan our way

"C'mon Odin" I pat his snout

"Nghk" he gags

"Kghkk-kghh" he opens his mouth before gagging Krista up

"Nghk* Krista, what were you doing in there?!" Connie helps her up

"I… where's Ymir?!"

"Forget that, we have to get out of here" Jean says as he helped his horse up

The ground began shaking

We all look over at Reiner

The Colossal?

He's not supposed to transform

"What… the… hell" Connie steps back

"That idiot has to have crushed Reiner right?" Jean asks

Don't know, but how the hell is Annie still…

She in her Titan, right beside the colossal

"Where's Armin?!" I growl

"R-right here sir" he limps around Odin with Levi

"C-c'mon let's-" Levi grunts

"Good. Eren, Mikasa, Everyone, hurry up." I push Krista onto Odin

"Wh-what?" Krista turns around

"Go!" I growl

"I'm not leaving you!" She puts her foot down

"None of us are" Eren adds

"They want me!"

"So what?!" Mikasa growls

"Don't be ridiculous." Levi stands on his own, trying to hide his sprained or maybe even broken ankle "If anything, it's the two of you that should get to safety. The rest of us can hold her off for a bit"

"Y-yeah. We'll hold him off." Connie agrees

"Just for a bit. Then we'll be right behind you, okay?" Sasha tries making light of the matter "Seriously, we'll see eachother again before you even know it" she smiles, even though it was painfully obvious she didn't believe her own words

That stupid little smile…

It reminds me of…

I turn around

"Please, Kara…" Eren begs

"You're strong, kid. You'll do just fine without me." I look up at Annie leading a hoard of titans over to us

"Kara, c'mon…" Levi tries talking me down one last time

Levi backs off

If they stay back Annie will just follow us and catch up to Odin without a problem

There are no trees or building so they don't have a prayer against her

"C'mon, you guys…" Levi sighs

He knows it's the only way

…

"Yes… yes sir" Mikasa breaks the silence

"W-wait what about Krista?" Eren says as she grabbed my arm

She hides herself infront of me

"It was an honor… Captain" Mikasa says as they all salute behind me

"I'm not leaving" Krista whimpers

Krista…

How pathetic…

I don't have the strength to make her go

I have no clue as to who or what the hell I even am

I never had a chance to remember a thing about my past

Ursa…

Now.. I'm never going to find out…

I close my eyes

"Thanks for everything… Kara" Krista squeezes my hand

Krista…

I don't want to die alone

I open my eyes

The chains… they're gone?

All this blood, sweat, and tears made me icky all over

I look up seeing Ursa naked in a pool of blood just the same

"Ursa." I pull her into my arms

"K-Kara…" she tears up

I hold her tight making sure I don't waste the little time I can have her in my arms

"It's okay, Ursa. We'll get out of here, okay?" I whisper

My poor baby…

I love her more than anything

To see her covered in blood and that monster's… that monster's semen…

I'd lose my sanity if I didn't have her at my side

"He killed it Kara" she whimpers

"Wh-what?" I ask

She pulls her head back

She had tears running down her face

"Th-there was something inside me… a… a baby a-and it d-died"

…

"Wh-what?"

"He killed it, Kara. Why'd he do it? Why'd he do it, big brother?!" She cries

But even so…

I couldn't fathom why it was a bad thing

I mean… it came from that creature…

So why does she even care?

"I-I'm sorry papa. I didn't mean to. I wish I was stronger. I really do, papa." She sniffs

It deserves the most painful death

So why is she apologizing?

I don't..

I don't understand…

"No Ursa, don't cry" I pull her head into my shoulder "you know it's better off with papa than here"

"Maybe…" she sighs

I listen to Ursa as she sobbed in my arms

"Holy-" the door swings open and Lucifer stumbles inside

Only he looked… disgusting

It was the most gut wrenching creature you could ever muster in your wildest imagination

I quickly pull Ursa up and I back her into a corner behind me

He smiles widely

Lucifer walks over to us

"Get back!" I growl

"Shut up" Lucifer snatches her in an instant

"Give her back!" I lounge at him

He whips me across the face with his tail so hard that my back slammed into the wall

"Agh?!" I gasp

My arms tremble as I trie catching my breath

"Kara…" Ursa whimpers

I look up

Lucifer had this nasty grin as across his face

"L-leave h-her.." I cough as Lucifer held her by the nape of her neck

A little tear rolls down Ursas cheek as a blade pierced right through her abdomen

Her blood poured onto my face

I just froze

As if mind was trying to comprehend what just happened

"N-no" I finally manage

I don't believe it…

I watch helplessly as her lifeless body fell onto the cold floor

"Ursa?" I pull her head into my arms

After not hearing an answer I give her a little shake

"Are you really…"

"K-Kara?" She sets a hand on my face

"Y-yeah?" I hold back any tears

"It d-doesn't hurt, big bro"

"I-it's okay. You'll be fine, okay?" I set a hand on her belly, trying to stop the bleeding

"N-no." She grabs my wrist "I'm sorry, Kara. I… I really am…" she tears up

"It's okay." I hold onto her hand and her lips trembled in fear

"At least it's finally over" she forces a little smile

"Yes… y-yes it is, Ursa" My tears dribbled onto her face as I pressed my lips to her forehead "I love you… with all my heart, okay?"

Hearing me say those words puts a huge smile across my face

"I… I love… I love you too, big bro" the smile gets weaker and weaker

Until her head… rolls aside

I open my eyes

"Kara?" Krista whimpers

…

I held Krista safely in my arm as I stared the colossal Titan down in my Perfect Susanoo

He didn't seem to know what to do.

I stood 100 meters tall

I wouldn't blame him. I was armed to the teeth

I reach down for my blade

"Witness the ultimate power of The Dead Prince," I draw my blade

In an instant I slice the largest Titan known to man in two with so much force it cleared the cloudy sky above, for miles

"Susanoo."

"Ghk" it grumbles before its arms detached

After a few seconds the rest of his upper body began sliding off his torso

The Titans all over stop eating for a second to look up at their God

I look over at Reiner who was crawling away in disbelief

I point my blade over to him before the Titans from all over began charging at the traitor

Then, I felt a sudden burst of electricity down my spine

In the blink of an eye I found myself suddenly free falling out of the sky

"Kara!" Krista shouts holding on tight to my shirt

"Kghk" I croak

I was in so much pain

"Krista?" I pull her in
