The Hospital Trip

"What do you mean he's not here?!" Kurumu asked Eli's doctor in Tsukune's hospital room and the doctor swallowed his spit as she and Mizore glared at him.

"He left right after you went to check on Tsukune here and asked me to tell you goodbye for him." The doctor explained while motioning to Tsukune as Eli and Moka quietly stood outside of the hospital room before they both walked away, "His regenerative abilities allowed him to check out faster than the average patient."

"Sorry!" Moka said as they walked into another doctor at the corner of the hall but he waved it off and led then to another room to speak with them, "What did you want to talk about?"

"You two should try not to be so careless since the Outcast Monsters are after you." The doctor told them with a strange smile and Eli instantly pulled Moka behind him while glaring at the doctor, "Why are you looking at me like that?"

"We never told you about the Outcasts." Eli said as he prepared himself and the doctor pulled a syringe from his pocket but Eli punched him in the face before he could move. His eyes widened when he turned around to see a nurse stabbing her finger into Moka's neck and when he began to run towards them a tendril shot from the nurse's hand and stabbed him in the neck as well.

"They have to still be here right?" Tsukune asked as he and Mizore searched the halls for Moka and Eli before turning a corner and seeing them both standing in front of them, "I knew it!"

"Watch out!" Mizore yelled as she pushed Tsukune out of the way as Moka slashed at him with a scalpel and she formed a shield of ice when Eli swung at her. The pain of punching the ice seemed to stop whatever was making him attack them and he immediately fell to the ground. Mizore realized what happened and she knocked Moka to the ground before she could attack them again. After going to get Ruby she tried to question them but neither of them remembered anything about what they did and Moka began to cry as she struggled to figure out why they attacked Tsukune and Mizore like that. Eli had a serious look on his face as he thought about what happened before they blacked out until he heard people screaming somewhere in the hospital and both girls were surprised when he suddenly sprinted towards the screams. Moka immediately followed after him and Ruby figured her best plan of action would be to get the others.

"You've already made me look like a fool so hurry up and die for me!" The woman who pretended to be a nurse yelled as she sent several tendrils at Tsukune before Eli and Moka entered the bloody waiting area and she gave them a wicked look, "Good! Now I can kill all three of you at the same time!"

"You won't be killing anyone else today." Eli said as he calmly walked towards her and they watched as demonic energy emanated from the holy lock. The woman sent all of the tendrils at him but they were instantly destroyed when dark energy exploded off of him. The others arrived as the woman was on her knees and screaming in pain while staring at her now annihilated hands. She looked up when she when a pair of legs stopped in front of her and saw Inner Eli's crimson eyes glaring at her.

"Don't kill her!" Kurumu yelled as he formed a fist and he gave her a nod before sending the woman flying into the wall with a powerful punch. Eli returned to normal as the woman fell to the ground and he sighed while rubbing the back of his head.

"She was the reason they attacked us." Tsukune explained as Eli sat down in one of the many chairs, "She was a part of that Outcast group."

"That's better than what we thought was happening." Kurumu said before she turned to Eli as he examined his holy lock, "How did your other half come out anyways?"

"This thing doesn't seal him away like my rosaries did." Eli explained with a sigh and they watched his hair and eyes change as Inner Eli revealed himself, "We can switch places at will now but only if both of us agree to. Sadly it'll only be that way until a new rosary is made for us."

"Actually that won't be the case." Ruby told him with a small smile and he gave her a confused look, "That man made that one specifically for you knowing that you would make that gamble one day."

"That's good news I suppose." Eli said with his voice changing as they switched places again and both Kurumu and Mizore hugged him tightly before arguing with each other immediately, making the others laugh at their antics. After finally returning to school a few days later they couldn't help but notice that Moka was refusing to come to class and it was making Tsukune worry about her.

"I'll go find her." Kurumu said as she walked out of the club room and Eli sighed as he went back to work on his portion of the newspaper.

"They've been gone a long time. We should go look for them." Tsukune said as he stood up and Eli kicked a chair into the back of his legs, forcing him to sit back down, "Why are you stopping me?!"

"Because they don't need our help Tsukune. Kurumu is a good fighter and Moka doesn't give up no matter what." Eli explained as he leaned back with his hands behind his head and Tsukune thought about what he said, "Stop worrying so much and trust in them."

"I guess you're right." Tsukune said as he went back to work and Eli looked out the window while pondering whether he believed his own words but just shrugged it off as he picked his pen up.
