Meeting The Committee

"So you have to join the Festival Committee or you'll be expelled?" Eli asked as Tsukune as they entered their dorm room and he gave Eli a nervous smile as he handed him on of the black cards, "God dammit."

"You aren't being force to come but it'll make me feel a lot better having one of you guys with me." Tsukune explained as Eli laid on the bed with a sigh, "Are you going to come help me?"

"Yeah why not." Eli told him with a chuckle as he closed his eyes and Tsukune smiled as he examined the black card. The next day went by as normal until they made it to the Committee building and neither of them liked how to building looked but shrugged it off and walked inside. Eli felt a presence looming over him and he lept back out of instinct only to see the kind smile of another student.

"You two must be Tsukune and Eli. My name is Hokuto and I'm the president of the Festival Committee." He explained as he held his hand out to Tsukune and Eli sighed as he rubbed the back of his head, "My goal for the future is for peace to fill this school."

'I don't like him.' Inner Eli said as they followed Hokuto into the main room and Eli could tell that Tsukune was uncomfortable with the situation but sat in his seat anyways, 'Do you see that strange looking guy next to Tsukune?'

"What about him?" Eli asked under his breath while examining him and he gave Eli a big smile that he immediately didn't like, "He just seems like a weirdo to me."

'His hiding his murderous intent but I can sense it everytime he looks at us or Tsukune.' Inner Eli explained as Hokuto began to talk and Eli decided to heed his other half's words as everyone listened to the speech. After the meeting was over Tsukune wanted to stay behind to talk to Hokuto more and Eli shrugged as he walked out of the building.

"If he really is going to try to kill us then he'll go for Tsukune first." Eli said as he walked down the path back to the main campus before seeing a small bridge with an empty lot behind it, "Bet that's where he'll try."

"Eli!" Kurumu yelled happily as she ran down the path and he motioned for her to follow him under the bridge. He put his finger to his lips as he leaned against the wall right next to the opening and she mimicked him when Inner Eli came out. It didn't take long for the strange student to pull Tsukune into the open lot and Tsukune saw them waiting quietly but kept his mouth shut when Eli shook his head. The student talked about how there was a mole from Anti-thesis in the Committee and how Tsukune would be fine since he had already beaten them before. When he turned to leave he saw Inner Eli and Kurumu patiently listening to their conversation and Tsukune gave him a confused look.

"I never said anything about fighting Anti-thesis so how do you know about that?" Tsukune asked in a serious tone and the student spun around while taking on his monster form. Eli brought his leg up as the student pulled Tsukune underground and kicked the dirt hard enough to destroy the lot, causing the student to lose his bearings. He smirked when he felt Tsukune's demonic power be released and moments later the student burst from the ground with blood coming from his mouth. Hokuto showed up as Tsukune was being put on a stretcher and began to apologize to them for the student's actions but Tsukune just smiled as he waved it off.

"It's good that Tsukune has a strong friend like you Eli." Hokuto said as he looked at Eli only to get a cold stare from him, "I promise I had no idea that he was a part of Anti-thesis."

"I believe you." Eli sighed as he turned around and Kurumu saw him looking at her from the corner of his eye before they both walked away, "He knew about him."

"How do you know?" Kurumu asked as they followed to path to the dorms, "All of the teachers praise him and his classmates love to talk to him."

"Because the look in his eyes when I didn't respond showed his true colors for a brief moment." Eli explained with a serious face and Kurumu gave him a smile as she grabbed onto his arm, surprising him before he smiled back, "I won't do anything until I know for sure but I'm hoping I was mistaken."

"It's gotten pretty cold hasn't?" Kurumu asked when she saw their breath and her eyes widened when Eli suddenly pulled away from her while looking behind him with fear filled eyes.

"Who said you could do that you big breasted girl?" Mizore asked as she walked up to them with a large claw made of ice covering one of hands and Eli took a few steps back when Kurumu's wings came out but they both stopped when Eli began to laugh.

"I'm sorry. Things have been crazy lately so I'm glad they're getting back to normal." Eli said as he gave them an uncharacteristically big smile and they couldn't help but smile back when they saw the relief in his eyes.
