Rob's Multiverse Guild

A board ROB decides to entertain himself by messing with the multiverse. Like all of my other books, I write stuff like this whenever I have a spark of inspiration or just for fun. If you want to read this, that's fine but don't expect this to be finished or even get that many chapters for that matter...

5 The White Wolf and the Mystery Girl

Geralt of Rivia was not having a good time. His week started off with him fighting some sort of monster like always, this time it was an arachnomorph, a giant insectoid creature resembling a spider.

And now by the end of the week, somebody had come to claim the law of surprise, meaning he now had to find a girl named Ciri. "I need a drink," He said to himself as he walked towards a nearby town.

Walking through the town Geralt came across what looked to be a tavern judging by their door, so he walked in, but as soon as he entered he stopped in his tracks. The first thing he noticed was the cleanliness and silence of this place. Every tavern he had been in had been previously was loud with drunks and not very well-maintained. With a place this nice looking, he would expect it to have more customers, but on the contrary, only a few people were here and they were all wearing very strange clothing, especially the two in the booth.

Geralt knew that something odd would happen if he stepped in here and despite his instincts telling him to leave, he was very tired and he really wanted that drink, so he walked towards the bar and sat down.

"Give me something strong," Geralt said to the bartender. Rob simply snapped his figures and a glass of 12-year-old Macallan scotch appeared in front of Geralt. Seeing this, Geralt raised a brow and said in a flat voice: "Mage."

"That was not magic, Geralt of Rivia. And before you ask, yes I know who you are. The hair is kind of a giveaway. So any other questions?" Rob corrected.

The witcher looked around again and asked: "What is this place?"

"This is a guild Geralt..." Rob then proceeded to give the witcher the same rundown as he gave the others. "Parallel worlds?." Geralt said skeptically.

"You live in a world of swords and magic and you fight mythical monsters daily but you can't believe in alternate worlds?" Rob chuckled.

"Hmm," Geralt grunted as he downed the entire glass of liquor.

"Another?" Rob asked. Geralt nodded and Rob made another drink appear.

A few drinks later and a bit more convincing, the white wolf was now part of the guild.

"So does this guild offer any rooms for its members?" Geralt asked. Even if he was a little bit tipsy from the alcohol, that still wouldn't wash away his exhaustion from his hunt, he needed somewhere to sleep.

"Sure," Rob said as he snapped his figures and a staircase appeared near the back of the bar. "First door on your right. Use your guild card to unlock it."

Geralt nodded his head, walked upstairs to his room, and went inside. As the door closed behind him, it changed to match his card, white with a grey border and the wolf symbol on it.

As Geralt left, Batman and Superman stood up from their booth and went to check out some of the guild's other features as well. Batman of course went to the [recreation] room because he needed as much information on other worlds as possible if he was gonna be sent there and Superman went to the [Arena].

More than one person can use the [arena] at once, it will just create another space to use when somebody enters. Unless two guild members want to fight each other or together, the members just need to enter the door together.

After they had gone, it was only Rob and his new daughter left in the hall which got Rob to think. 'Where did she find the door to this place? It couldn't have been in the dimensional gap.'

It was true that Rob had sent the doors randomly but he made sure that wherever he sent them to would fit his criteria.

1. Whatever world he sent them to, it wouldn't have been somewhere inhabitable for regular people.

2. Only people Rob thought would be interesting to have here would be able to notice the door.

With these standards, it would have been impossible for Ophis to have found the door in the gap so he was about to ask her where she found it but just before he did, a silver-haired girl fell through the front door. She quickly got up and slammed the door behind her while breathing heavily. She didn't turn around but Rob could tell she was injured and exhausted.

'Well, I guess that answers the question as to where Ophis found the door' Rob thought as he stared at the girl.

"You good?" Rob asked, startling the girl. She immediately turned around, ready to fight after noticing she wasn't alone.

"Who are you!?" She questioned on guard as a magic circle appeared in front of her hand.

Rob just sighed and shook his head. Suddenly the magic circle on the girl's hand broke and she felt as if she couldn't use her magic. "W-what did you do to me!?" She asked in a panic.

"I restricted your use of magic, but you can relax. If I really wanted to harm you, then you wouldn't have even had the chance to make that magic circle," Rob spoke calmly.

The girl calmed down slightly but was still on guard. "There are worse things than death that could be done to me..." she whispered to herself. Rob heard her and spoke: "That's true, but as I said before, if I wanted to harm you I would have already. Now take a seat and tell me why you just fell through my door."

He was clearly a lot more powerful than her so she might as well do as he says now, lest she incurs his anger. The girl cautiously walked toward Rob and sat on a stool in front of him. As she sat there she began to tell her what happened.

Author note.

If you have any cool ideas for powers, write what they are and a description of them along with how many guild points you think they are worth in the comments and I'll make an auxiliary chapter for them.

1030 words. Short chapter I know but I want to get to the fun part already so the next chapter will be the start of the first quest!

P.S. I don't keep a stock of chapters. I release these as soon as I finish writing and editing them, so just commenting "more more more" isn't gonna make me write any faster.
