Then a cute girl who seemed to be a high schooler came into the tea shop.

Schools would start at 8 am and would finish at 3 pm so it was normal to see some students working part-time jobs. So he thought she was just a part-timer.

He looked at her with interest since he didn't know her. He knew that it was because he would only visit this tea shop a few months later and would become a regular.

He thought she was only a part-timer here.

"Mom, I'm back"

"I will help you with the work"

Zhou Li almost choked on his coffee when he heard that.

She had blue hair which was tied in a hair bun. She had a cute face and bright blue eyes. Her mother had brown hair and blue eyes.

She went quickly to her mother. Zhou Li who was seeing this immediately had his eyes wide. His mind wandered off to a distant memory.

Inside the same cafe, a handsome young man was sitting at one of the tables browsing through his phone while waiting for his order. Then a woman approached the table and put the coffee on the table as she also sat in front of the table. He put his phone in his pocket as the coffee was ready and aunt Meilin wanted to talk. They would often talk like this as aunt Meilin seemed to adore him like her own child.

"Aunt Meilin, thank you for the tea"

"Whenever I see you, I always remember my daughter"

"What happened to her"

"She passed away"

"I am sorry to hear that"

"Her favorite spot to drink was this place"

"With a mother like aunt Meilin, she would definitely be in a good place now"

She said as she remembered the memories. She shed tears but she wiped them with her hands

"Thank you"

"It must be sad for you to hear those things"

"You should drink your coffee before it gets cold"

She left the spot and went back behind the counter.

Zhou Li hired her to be his desert chef a few months later.

Zhou Li remembered that memory but what was he to do. It wouldn't give him any benefit even if he rescued her but he really liked the coffee and the deserts the auntie made. It wouldn't be that hard to save her from her death and she seemed quite cute. His mother always said to be kind to girls. So, he decided to save her.

My name is Gao Xue. My mom's name is Goa Meilin. My mom has been running this tea shop since I was young. I would always help my mother after finishing school.

She went into the shop and went to her mother first then she served the customer their tea. Then she went to serve the tea to a young man who was looking outside the window. She was stunned for a few seconds when he turned his head around and glanced at her.

'How handsome'

She stared at him for a few seconds before she snapped out of it. She saw him looking at her with a smile. Her face became bright red.

"I am sorry for the wait, here is your order"

She put the coffee and cheesecake on the table quickly and tried to leave but tripped when she turned to return. She closed her eyes and became ready for the impact but the pain never came so she opened her eyes and saw that she was supported by a hand.

"Try to be careful"

He let go of her when she was ready to stand.

"Thank you"

She said with a bright red face.

Inside the tea shop, there was a young handsome man drinking his tea peacefully and behind the counter, there was a cute blue-haired girl who was glancing at him from time to time while hiding in order to not get seen. Then someone approached her from behind and touched her.

"Eek"

She let out a voice that was heard by people and everyone glanced at her but she hid under the counter so everyone stopped glancing.

"Mom, can you not do that"

"It's embarrassing me"

"Do you like that boy?"

"He's quite handsome"

"Mom, it's not like that"

"Fine Fine Fine, mom will not mess in the relationships of you young folks"

She said and left to do her work.

Zhou Li leisurely ate his cheesecake and drank his coffee.

When he finished, Gao Xue approached him and gave him a check.

He then ordered a chocolate cupcake for takeout for his sister.

Inside a room, the blue-haired girl was happy as a bumble bee imagining her prince charming while moving her legs up and down while lying on her bed. She had indeed fallen in love.

She saw the bag he was carrying. The packaging had the advertisement for Sanctuary. Sanctuary is the world's first-ever fully immersive virtual reality game. It became the hottest topic on the internet and was even approved by the IGU(Internation Global Union)

It has been some time since the game was announced and the headset was released for sale. Many people have bought the headset already and were just waiting for the release.

"Maybe I should also buy it"

The headset was not expensive at all and was able to be bought by most civilians.

That night she dreamed of a handsome knight who had the face of Zhou Li riding a white stallion saving her who was in a princess dress.

Zhou Li returned back home after that and saw that his sister didn't try to bother him. It was because she was watching a movie and was eating potato chips on the couch.

Then she then sniffed the air as if she smelled something and looked at Zhou Li.

"Big brother, welcome home"

"Are you thirsty?"

"Do you want a glass of water?"

"How about big brother letting Lihua with the bags"

She went near him and tried to snatch the bags but Zhou Li put the bags up high in the air with his hands. She was not tall enough to snatch the bag from her brother who was 5'10".

She tried to jump and take it but couldn't reach it.

"Big brother give it to me"

"I know you have chocolate"

"Give it to me"

"I will give it to you but you will have to fulfill a condition"

She pouted and puffed her cheeks like a chipmunk and looked at her brother.

"If you fulfill this condition, I will buy you chocolate three times a week"

She thought about it and said

"Five times"

Zhou Li felt a little angry at the cheeky brat who was trying to bargain with him.

"Four times and that's max"

"Deal"

"What's the condition?"

"I will tell you in the future"

He then gave her the bag containing the chocolate cupcakes. She immediately opened the package inside the bag. There were six cupcakes inside. She took a bite from the first cupcake and her eyes went wide.

"Big brother, where did you buy this form"

"What you don't like it then fine I will take it back"

"Nooooo"

She took away her cupcakes from her big brother.

"It's delicious"

She then kept eating the cupcakes.
