Rise of the void prince

"Am I going to die" He thought as he looked at the sky that was dyed red. Raindrops fell on his body which was covered with blood and injuries which looked horrifying. He looked around to see mountains of human corpses. Whether it was strangers or allies, he felt sorrowful as humanity was going to be extinct and he wasn't able to stop it. He felt his consciousness was leaving his body as he couldn't keep his eyes open for much longer. He closed his eyes as his heartbeat rang slower and slower. The only thing valuable on his body that hasn't been broken to pieces seemed to be the silvery, white ring that was adorned on his right hand's middle finger. As his heart was about to stop beating, white light started to appear around him. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Chapter length-1000~3000 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Chapter-6

"If you don't train your martial arts regularly from now on while eating those cupcakes, you will get fat"

"Who says I am fat?"

"In fact, I am going to the training room after I eat this Humph"

After a while

Both Zhou Li and Zhou Lihua were now in the training room under the mansion where they lived

they were in their training outfits. Zhou Li's muscular and lean figure was more shown with his tight training outfit. He did not take his training outfit the other day with his visit to his grandpa and the clothes he had worn that day would need to be washed four or five times to wash off the smell. It was fine since it was normal clothes. He would always wear normal clothes when he goes out.

Zhou Lihua was also in a tight training outfit which highlighted her figure even more. They were stretching their bodies. They would often train here in the evening and they would always duel and most of them would be won by Zhou Li. They took their stances and looked at each other. The duel started and Zhou Lihua used her foot to strike him in the head but was blocked by Zhou Li. Many blows were exchanged and an hour later, Zhou Lihua was still trying to fight her big brother but she was too sluggish because she was too exhausted.

"Well, let's end it now," Zhou Li said

Zhou Lihua almost fell when she tried to walk but Zhou Li held her hand.

"Try to sit and rest for a while"

Zhou Li went out of the training room. He was going to take a bath in his room's bathroom.

A few days went by.

During these days Zhou Li would go to his grandfather in the morning to train with him then he would go back to have his breakfast, take a bath, and a nap. He would go to the cafe in the evening and when he came back he would spar with his younger sister. This would rinse and repeat for the next four days.

On the fifth day, however, in the middle of the night, Zhou Li woke up as he felt that he had broken through the fourth stage. He was at the peak of stage three when he regressed so it was normal that after he changed his lifestyle and focused more on training his martial arts, he would break through to the fourth stage coupled with his talent in martial arts, he felt regretful how he wasted his time in his past life.

In the Zhou family martial arts.

The first eight stages were mostly for the physical body, making it stronger.

Those who start to practice would not start in stage one but stage zero. Of course, this was the Zhou family's main martial arts and could only be practiced by the main lineage. For those who joined the Zhou family, there was a different martial art technique. Only those who were of good talent and sworn an oath of loyalty which was taken using a secret method would be able to practice the Zhou family martial arts.

The first four stages would be for the external body and the next four stages would be for the internal body,

When you reach the first stage, you would be able to lift 200 jin. The second stage, 400 jin. The third stage 600 and the fourth stage would be 800 jin.

When one reached the next four, there would be a qualitative change.

When one broke through the eighth stage, they would be able to live for at least 150 to 250 years. When one broke through the eighth stage, their dantian would be unlocked as well. Qi or mana was existent in the air and a human body would naturally have qi flowing through it. A person would not be able to see it but those who practice martial arts would be able to sense it after reaching a certain step in martial arts and that was the fourth stage in the Zhou family martial arts.

A normal human body would have a dantian but the vein that transfers qi to the dantian would be blocked.

In the Zhou family martial arts, breaking through the stages till the eighth stage would loosen that blockage. The first four stages would only loosen the blockage a bit but they would not be as effective as the next three stages.

Then why wouldn't there be those who tried to break through at the fourth stage in the ancestry of the Zhou family? The reason being was that though when they broke through the fourth stage, they would be able to sense the mana in the air, in their surroundings, but the feeling would be very faint. Only after reaching the seventh stage would they be able to sense it clearly and the reason the majority of people who reached the seventh stage had a bottleneck for a long time was that though they could sense the mana in the surrounding, they had to sense the mana inside their bodies and try to make it move towards the blockage and break through it.

But Zhou Li was trying to break through that blockage while he had only reached the fourth stage. The reason being, though he had not brought back his body from his past life. He could sense the qi inside his body. Even in his past life, he didn't have a bottleneck when he broke through the eighth stage. He had to thank his talent. He could make the qi inside his body like he had been using it his entire life. The other reason why a person would not break through at the fourth stage was that the next three stages would strengthen the internal body making the vein that flows qi towards the dantian wider.

Zhou sat in a lotus position on the floor. He sensed the qi inside his body. He could also sense the blockage. For the next three hours, he used all his power to guide the qi inside his body to crash the blockage like a raging wave. He had sweat all over his body.

'Almost'

'Finished'

As he finished, he lay on the floor. Almost all of his mental force was used up in breaking through the blockage. He was exhausted, to say the least. He lay on the floor looking at the ceiling.

"I did it"

He moved his tired body to the bed to rest. He thought of the thing that would happen in the future. He would be very busy in the future.
