The Walking Dead

As Ryuji sat in front of the path sensing for anything he could find; Teila's voice rang out inside his head.

"Ryuji be careful ahead! I'm sensing massive amounts of cursed souls walking around; down this path before you. There is some kind of dark cosmo sealing their souls into their dead bodies."

"Hmm, undead huh ; that would explain the movement on all the paths and why I'm not sensing any life signs."

Ryuji stood up from the ground.

He looked around noticing everyone else also standing by a pathway, pushing their cosmo down their paths. Not seeing any reason to wait longer, Ryuji walked into the dark tunnel with his hand on his blade at the ready.

As he walked forward, he used his cosmo to create a light source above his left hand. Slowly he moved through the tunnel before coming upon a doorway on his right.

Beyond the doorway he could hear movement. Ryuji slowly walked up towards the wall,

"Let's test the strength of these undead."

Ryuji tightened his hand on his sword, then moved into the room. As soon as he moved into the room there was an undead to his right looking right at him.

The undead jumped out at Ryuji with its mouth wide open, ready to take a juicy bite out of Ryuji's neck.

Without batting an eyelid; Ryuji slashed downward at the floating zombie flying his way.

"Sit your ass down and think about why you died."

Ryuji placed his sword back next to himself before walking forward. The undead's body continued to fly forward missing Ryuji. It crashed into a wall before splitting into 2 halves.

Three zombies hearing the commotion, turned and looked at Ryuji and the now split zombie resting on the ground.

Like a snake noticing its favorite snack; all three ran at Ryuji with their mouth's open, spit flailing about.

"If only you guys were a little smarter, in your next life learn how to spot a dangerous enemy."

Ryuji without any remorse slashed in a straight line across the air. A white line of air dashed towards the zombies, before slicing through their necks.

Their bodies not reacting to the attack, continued to run forward; however, their heads slowly split from their shoulders like a bad marriage.

Without their heads, the bodies began to fall over bleeding all over the floor.

"I guess that was the last one."

Ryuji sheaths his blade then looks at around.

"I wonder if this is some type of storage area or maybe a room that was in development."

In the room boxes could be seen scattered all over the place; broken chunks of boxes lay tossed on the ground.

Some boxes have what can be guessed is zombie bites on them.

"Guess since they didn't have nothing else to eat, they decided the boxes were open season."

"Wonder if their is anything in here worth taking?"

Ryuji moved around the room, rummaging through some of the intact boxes that weren't opened or eaten.

Some boxes contained clothes that had begun to fall apart, a few containers had what would be considered food; however, after no telling how long all of it has deteriorated and spoiled.

After about 10 minutes of searching. He came across some boxes that contained crystals or gems. Diamonds, emeralds, and sapphires; all kinds of gems packed tightly into a few boxes.

"These could be useful for making barriers and seals, I wonder if my shadows can hold items for me?"

Ryuji gathered his cosmo, sending a small amount of Teila and Vana's power into his shadow, creating a shadow pocket dimension of sorts.

Ryuji had a grand smile plastered across his face as he dumped the gems into his shadow.

"If Ganju was here to see what I could do with my Zanpakuto, he would be jealous as hell!"

After gathering all the gems, Ryuji searched around for another 10 minutes before finding nothing else.

He walked out of the room into the ever dark hallway continuing forward.

10 minutes go by and the figure of a giant man with axes can be seen coming up to the room Ryuji just left. He enters the room noticing the dead bodies, casualties of Ryuji's might.

He looks around for a min before deciding to move on. With a sinister smile on his face, like a PC builder who just got that next gen CPU and GPU.

"Kid when I find your ass, your gonna wish for my axes to finish draining your blood. Ha ha ha ha ha!"

Neil walked into the dark corridor laughing with glee.

In other corridors Leon and his group where facing off against what would be considered mutated or evolved zombies.

These zombies were able to use cosmo to attack enemies with element attacks. A group of zombies can be seen tossing fireballs at Leon's teammates.

While 2 other zombies covered in ice fought Leon in hand to hand combat.

Albert and Hilda's group faced off against an organized group of zombies who used weapons coated in cosmo.

These zombies, like Alberts knights, followed a battle formation listening to a central leaders growls.

The leader zombie while still an undead had some form of intelligence; it would give orders to its minions when Hilda would try and rush forward, divert her away from the leader zombie.

If they didn't finish off a zombie completely; the leader zombie could resurrect his minions, bringing them back into the fight.

For Albert and his team, running into what can be considered zombie knights has slowed their progress to a crawl.

Over with Orion and Ragnar, they are faced with a Zombie pack master and his small army of zombie creatures.

These creatures range from zombie Pterodactyls, zombie wolfs, zombie bears, zombie giant spiders, and zombie giant snakes.

The pack master stands in the back sending out waves of cosmo to enhance his creatures strengths. Also with his intelligence, he would give orders for the monsters to team up against the 2 living humans, accounting for each beast weaknesses.

Orion and Ragnar could be seen enjoying the fight; however, because of the difficulty of this fight they fought back to back supporting each other.

From each pathway, the souls of any creature or person defeated, would be slowly pulled down towards the coffin before being absorbed by the armor. In front of the coffin rested a completely intact corpse with no signs of decay, as if the person had just died.

Cosmo radiates off of the corpse, heavy like a mountain, yet calm like the ocean. Cosmo was also being sent into the corpse by the armor enhancing the corpse fixing any errors it noticed.
