CHAPTER 34 VOID CREATURES
Garen looked on, as chaos descend on the world. The stars in the sky fell, and the sun was blocked by a giant hand. Cries of pain and despair rang through out the world, and large grotesque looking creatures rise from the earth.
Some of the creatures were different from each other, like they were of the same race but different tribes. There were some in shape of humans, but ten times bigger. They had four heads, and eight hands. Each hand had two eyes, while their face was bereft of eyes. Only mouth and ears.
Another type, we're creatures that look like a giant floating eyeball. Countless Tentacles were attached to the eyeballs, and the tentacles were wriggling all about. The creatures were too much and to diversified for him to describe each and everyone of them.
At the forefront of the creatures, was an exceedinly big creature. Though each of the creatures were large and tall, but they all look like kids compared to this one.
The forefront creature stood like a mountain. The creature's head shot through the dark sky, and only the red innumerable eyes on its face shone down on him.
"GAREN.... GAREN... GARENNNNNNNNN...." Garen beard his name. It was coming from the large creatures. Particularly the biggest one. Though that being said, garen felt like there wasn't any word being spoken, and that they were communicating directly to his soul. The name was being resounding through his head, and his hearth thumped loudly. He felt like his hearth was about to jump out of his chest.
Unlike the divine and soothing words that he heard in the city were long gone, and in place of it was something seething with hatred, anger, darkness and other evil emotions.
"ROARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR." the mountainous creature stretched out its incomparably large hand toward garen.
Garen rushed back as he try to escape the large hand. He couldn't help but regret the decision he took earlier. Had he known, he wouldn't have taken that step, and would have rather stayed away.
"GAREN..... GAREN.... AWAKEN.... AWAKEN....." the large creature's voice rang through his soul, and the creature countless piercing red eye shun brighter and the red eye became bigger and more red.
Dark red rays shot through the dark sky, and pierced into the dark earth. A couple of this red bolt hit Garen, but except from feeling itchy, nothing else happened.
"AWAKEN..... S... N.... GO... LE... UR.. EOPL.... ACK..... ONWUER...." the creature's word became static, and unclear. It must be trying to tell Garen something important, as it became agitated when it's words weren't clear enough for garen to understand.
Garen felt the creatures meant him no harm, as they all stood certain distance away from him, so as not to cause any harm to him. The creatures became more agitated as their words didn't go across perfectly.
The dark space began to crumble slowly, as crack appeared all over the place. The falling stars wavered and seems about to crumble.
"BEGONE, YOU UNWANTED CREATURES." a voice rang out through the space, and the creatures and Garen looked towards the place the voice came from.
A crack opened in the space, an oldman shot through the crack in the sky.the old man stood in the sky, and a withered old staff was held in the man's hand.
The man's eye were milky white, and his back was bent over. The creatures were even more agitated as they saw the old man, and they let out a soundless roar. Except from the largest of them, the 20 other creatures rush at the oldman, and flew incomparably fast as the small old man.
The largest of the creature quickly stretched out a single finger to garen. The large finger became bigger and bigger, and soon it filled garen's vision. The finger was as big as a house and it touched garen's forehead gently.
Garen felt an immense headache take over him. Blood poured out of his eye, and all his pores were opened, and drew in some unknown energy.
Unknown to garen, as the creature's finger touched his head, a complex ruin stretched all over his face. As the giant hand touched him, a small number if the runes were wiped off, and the dark energy around the area were absorbed by him.
Meanwhile, at the sky above them, a great battle is taking place. Large tall skeletons, zombies and creatures made only of souls clashed against the giant beings.
The undead were big, tall and powerful. The number 3 tines more than the dark creatures. The undead's green soul flame burn furiously, and they bared their weapon towards the dark creatures.
Though both side were powerful, the undead were on the losing end, and losing to the giant beings. The giant tore apart the skeletons. One of the giant creatures suddenly broke through among the undead. It opened its large mouth, and made sucking action.
A strong suction force swoop through the area, the undead creatures tried to grab hold of something and steady themselves, but the force was to strong and dragged the undead into its mouth.
The undead cried out but they were devoured bones. This large creature that sucked the undead were quite strange. It had the head of a human with a mouth stretching through its two cheek. Its back is that of a crocodile with large and powerful scale. The legs of a lion and giant eagle wings. It had a tail of scorpion, and it was like an amalgamation of different creatures.
This creature is quite big even among this giant creatures. It created chaos among the undead troops, and swallowed any one of them he come across in large gulps.
"ROAR, PITIFUL CREATURE DIE!!" a large towering skeleton that rode on a skeleton dragon rushed towards the strange beast and sent his Lance towards the beast.
The beast roared loudly, and unfurled it's eagle like wings and took to the sky. The Lance passed below the beast harmlessly and the beast brought down it's claw at the skeleton's head.
The skeleton blocked the attack with its Lance and and its undead dragon went after the strange beast. The two beast exchanged a couple of blows, and the skeleton couldn't keep up and was destroyed when the beast strike it with its tail through its head and it was consumed.
