CHAPTER 29 INFIGHTING ENDS

The two men let out a loud roar as the dazzling blue light reached saturation. Carsu turned the light to turin and let out a maddening roar "DIEEEEEEE.... "

'BOOM' an explosion rang out, as a dazzling blue storm rampaged through the whole area. Though the blue light was beautiful, it was exceedingly destructive. Any where the blue light pass through, the trees there were cut down, stones and boulder were grounded to dust, and then particular area were the storm was concentrates in seem to have turn into day.

The blue storm quickly receded and the original layout of the area as undergone a drastic change. The former trees and boulders were gone, and in place of them were for dust and saw dust. Piece of flesh and bones of unfortunate bandits that were caught up in the explosion lay all over the ground.

And the midst of it all are the two main characters of this event. Turin stood in the same position he was in earlier. His scimitar was held in his right hand, and he looked stiff and lifeless. As for carsu, he knelt down heads bowed and blood poured out relentlessly from his chest. From his heavy breathing and the moving of his chest, garen knew he his alive.

While he was still wondering how the two at the center of it all could survive, turin body suddenly burst in pieces. His bones, flesh and organs were separated into the finest pieces and his blood splattered all over carsu.

Carsu threw his head backwards and let out a laugh. The dagger was still held in his hand, but the light is now very dim. Most likely that powering up took a lot from the weapon.

There were only about 5 bandits left in the area. They all looked at each other in dismay finally getting back to their sense. They all had a simple mission, sell off the stolen goods, buy rations and other things the settlement is lacking, then protect the goods and remaining Rollins as they return to the settlement.

That should have been very simple. But with all this faction battle and all, how will they complete their mission. The five of them, plus the 3 following the young boss, the young boss and olauf with that little kid garen. How will they complete the mission now? After all, they are not the only bandit group in the area. This is the border and there are lots of bandits or mercenaries who are part-time bandits. How will they complete their mission know. They won't even be enough to fill the gap of this other bandits teeth.

They are doomed, they all thought. The battle as cost more lives than they thought and now, how will they survive. Garen looked on unconcerned. He didn't care about the bandits predicament. All this had nothing to do with him. He his after all extremely close to whiteriver city now. Either they continue to whiteriver city, or return back to the settlement, it all had nothing to do with him.

Garen pushed his thought down and turned his view back to carsu.

Carsu shakily stood up from the ground. His blood and enemy blood were mixed together and it was impossible to differentiate between his own blood and turin's blood

The soft sound of footstep rang out slowly from the side of the tent. A young man walked out from the tent slowly. Behind him were three bandits. The young man is barnuld.

Barnuld's face was downcast. His plan ended up leaving to such and erroneous mistake. The damage dealt to the group is far too much for anyone to accept, and to worsen the matter, he have nothing to show for. 20 bandits out of the original 32 are dead. An initial stage martial artist and a middle stage are dead. Another middle stage is severely injured and he his sure his strength would regress seriously even if he survived.

'ahhh'he roared and punched the tree by his side. It didn't go according to his plan. Everything just seem to fall apart and the world seems to be against him.

He just can't understand why turin would bring all his men with him. He his sure turin didn't catch a scent of the trap, after all, he was caught off guard. Turin is a paranoid person. He shouldn't trust that easily, why didn't he even assume that there were spy among his men, why why "WHY?" the thought kept on eating him up and he shout out loud.

"bastards, save him. Find something to stop the bleeding, DO ANYTHING TO SAVE HIM" barbuld shout angrily at the bandits standing around like fools. He directed them to save the now fainted carsu.

Garen let out a big smile. It was a painful thing to the young boss, but to him, it is an happy thing. He. Wasn't close to any of them, so he isn't sad nor did he think of mourning them. After all, the reason why he influenced Turin was to create such a situation. A situation whereby he could accumulate more souls and souk energy.

This place is too close to the camp so he won't be absorb them, so as to prevent others from catching sight of him, bit nothing prevents him from storing the souls in a soul orb. It w old take nothing more than just manipulating soyl energy a bit, nobody will find anything amiss.

The bandits came out of their stupor. Some joined hands together to pick up carsu, while others surveyed the areas for any surviving member, but to no avail. They were had all descend into morgue embrace.

Garen shut off the soul eye. It had drained 80percent of his soul energy, and keeping it active for so long took alot from his mental strength it wasn't all easy.

He turned around and retired to his tent, while spreading out his soul energy around his tent. Should anyone get close, he will instantly be aware of it.
