The Throne Pt.2

Kryzius stood silent, as he looked at the superior in the room. He didn't know why but they both have a strange aura to them.

Suddenly, the team bowed deeply. Kryzius, caught off guard, quickly did the same, his movements abrupt and slightly awkward.

The queen chuckled as she looked at Kryzius. "Welcome back, everyone..." she said, her voice calm yet mysterious.

"You may rise," the king commanded, his tone firm and authoritative.

The team stood up, and Kryzius followed suit, feeling the weight of the moment as he waited for Aeti to explain the situation.

"...and this is where we are now, Queen Tania," Aeti concluded.

The king and queen exchanged looks of pure shock.

Tania: "This is quite unexpected... a reincarnation, you say?"

Aeti nodded. "I understand, my queen, but this is still Kryzius."

King Theron glanced at Kryzius. "If this is truly the captain, he should know the different plans and tactics related to his duties."

The room fell silent as everyone looked at Kryzius.

Kryzius took a deep breath, feeling the pressure mounting. He decided to trust his instincts. "The Thanatos is powered by Actobian energy, which is rare and incredibly strong. The ship's defenses include dual-layer shields to protect against attacks, and we have powerful energy cannons that can target Oxtywraiths effectively. We also have a cloaking device that makes the ship nearly invisible to enemies."

King Theron raised an eyebrow, impressed. Queen Tania nodded slowly. "That level of detail... it does sound like Kryzius."

The team exchanged relieved glances, and Aeti smiled subtly.

Kryzius stood in silence as he observed the queen and king conversing with each other.

'Wait... how did I manage to say all that?!' he thought, surprised by his own eloquence and knowledge. The words had flowed effortlessly from himself, almost as if they were coming from a different source entirely. "Could it be that my memories came back..?"

King Theron cleared his throat, breaking the tense silence. "After some consideration, we have decided to give you a chance."

Kryzius breathed a sigh of relief, his tension easing slightly. The others mirrored his expression, their worry dissipating.

Queen Tania smiled warmly at them. "Before we conclude, it seems appropriate for both of us to reintroduce ourselves to the captain."

She gestured gracefully to herself and the king. "I am Queen Tania Colema, ruler of this kingdom, and this is my husband, King Theron Abdullah. Together, we oversee the welfare and prosperity of our people."

The king nodded in agreement. "We welcome you back, Captain Kryzius Bynodus. Though circumstances may have changed, our commitment to our kingdom's safety remains steadfast."

Kryzius nodded respectfully, feeling a sense of gratitude towards the monarchs. "Thank you, Your Majesties. I am honored to serve alongside you in protecting our kingdom."

They both nodded with appreciation and watch them leave the room.

"Honey...I understand he might be the captain but do we really have to trust him..?

Queen Tania smiles as she looks at her husband "Don't worry, I told you already…he is quite interesting."

Theron sighs "Yes I know…But this is just the average Captain you know?"

Queen Tania smiled warmly at her husband, her eyes reflecting her confidence. "My dear, sometimes what appears average on the surface holds great potential within. There is something about Captain Kryzius that intrigues me."

Theron sighed, understanding his wife's perspective but still harboring doubts. "I hope you're right, my love. We cannot afford to underestimate the threats we face."

With a reassuring touch, Queen Tania placed her hand on Theron's arm. "Trust me, Theron. I have a feeling that Captain Kryzius is anything but average. Let us give him the opportunity to prove himself."
