"This way, this way!" I was leading Mama by the hand to the blue haired girls place, Mama's hand is a bit sweaty but I think that's because she is also very excited to meet my new friend!
"S-Slow down Adam! You're going to fast!" Papa and the armored man were struggling to keep up with me and Mama, for adults they are really slow, I wish they'd hurry up..
"C'mon Papa! Mama and I will beat you there if you don't hurry up!"
Mama and I were pretty far ahead, the trees began thinning out and a small clearing could be made out. It was exactly how it was last time, a nice, sunlit, open area.
"We're almost there!"
"Honey, slow down and wait for Papa and the others!"
"Okay, Okay! Tell them to hurry up Mama!"
The feelings inside my chest were causing me to hop up and down on the spot in excitement. Papa and the rest of his posse eventually caught up to us, and when they did we were off again. The clearing wasn't that far ahead of us when I suddenly stopped in my tracks.
"Wait."
"What is it darling? There is nothing here."
Wait, didn't that girl say something about not coming back here before she dropped me out the window?...
"Is something wrong Adam? Is this where she lives?"
"What is this place? I've explored the most of the forest here and I have never seen this place before. Are you sure you didn't just meet a magical beast?" The man in Armor was getting considerably agitated, I don't think he appreciates being led around by a child.
"N-No, I-I didn't."
"Then why're we here? Is it further up?" Someone in Papa's group of people spoke up and started walking into the clearing. From where we stood it looked pretty, a clearing full of beautiful flowers with the light from the sun shining through the canopy of the trees. But I knew that once you stepped out of the tree line and into the clearing that an entire mansion became visible.
"N-NO! YOU MUSTN'T"
But it was to late.
"Adam, what's wrong?"
Mama shook my shoulders worriedly as I watched the man disappear into the clearing, his body had seemingly evaporated into thin air. Shocked gasps could be heard from all around me, the armored man and father were certainly surprised by the sudden disappearance of the man.
"Where did he go?"
"Adam, what is the meaning of this!?"
The man wearing the armour unsheathed his sword and pointed it towards me.
"Is this your doing boy?"
"N-No it isn't! I promise! He isn't dead!"
I pleaded for my innocence, I haven't done anything wrong and yet this man so readily pointed his sword at me.
"OI, CARL! WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING?!"
Papa dashed to mama's side, spreading his arms out to protect the both of us.
"Your son led us into a trap! He's probably being possessed by the demons that live here, if we don't kill him now we'll all be in danger!"
D-Demons?! Me? Possessed?! What does he mean?! How could I have been possessed by demons, if I never even met any demons!? Can he even prove that I'm being possessed?!
"You cannot kill our son with no evidence to prove that he has been possessed! Even so, I would never allow you to kill him even if he was! Isn't that what exorcisms and the like are for?!"
"E-Even so! He's still a danger to us since we don't know what he met in this forest, so I think it's better for us to send him in first and tell us if it's safe or not."
"B-But-"
"It's okay papa, I'll do it to prove that I'm not in the wrong."
I tapped mama's arm to let her know that she could let go of me now, she was quite hesitant at first but she eventually let go of me. All the while this 'Carl' person was pointing his sword at me while bickering me to move along.
"Adam, be careful."
"I already know nothing will happen Papa, don't worry"
He nodded hesitantly, and I nodded back as I took my first step into the clearing. From the inside, I could still see Mama and Papa as I looked over my shoulder but their faces were shocked when they saw me vanish into thin air. There's no going back now, I completely disobeyed what that girl had told me and I'm pretty sure she said something bad might happen to me if I came back.
"H-Hey kid."
The man that had stepped in here before me was in a state of shock, he stared in awe while shakily pointing his finger at the massive mansion in front of us that had seemingly appeared out of nowhere.
"W-Where are we? T-This wasn't here b-before, I-is this magic?"
"I-I thank It is... I have to tell Mama and Papa I'm alright."
"W-Wait!"
I walked back towards Mama and Papa who were quaking in their boots, Mama was pretty much in the verge of tears and Papa was shakily comforting her.
"P-Papa, Mama, I'm alright so can we go back now?"
I stepped out only to be met with a sword in my face, Carl's well polished, shiny sword was almost poking my eye as I made my way towards Mama and Papa.
"Not until we can confirm that whatever resides inside of there isn't dangerous."
"They didn't kill me right?! That means they mean no harm! Now let's leave them alone!" I pleaded.
"Nah uh, I'm going to check for myself kiddo, and everyone is going to come with me."
He said, pointing his sword towards the crowd of people that were following. He then hastily walked through the invisible wall that protected the clearing.
"Damnit, I knew I should never have asked the adventurers guild for help, I should've know this would happen."
Papa gritted his teeth and clenched his fist, everyone around us was looking at each other worriedly, as if we were going to be venturing into an unexplored dungeon for the first time.
"Hey everyone, it's alright, just follow the path back home and you'll be alright. I'll just give this guy his reward for finding my son and get on with it."
Papa told the crowd, after which they happily complied, scrambling to their feet and hurrying back down the path in which we came from.
"Adam, take care of your mother while I go and deal with this alright?"
"No I'll come with you Papa, Mama should Go back with the others."
"No, Adam This might get dangerous and I need you to be safe."
"But papa, if the girl comes out I'm the only one that can speak to her because I already know her."
"Ehh, well if you say it like that I guess I will need you. Okay, come. Mama head back with the others, I promise I'll get Adam back to you safely."
"Yeah, you'd better. And if you die, I'll kill you."
"Haha, that won't happen."
Papa said as he kissed Mama on the forehead and took my hand, walking me to the clearing.
"See you at home."
Mama said as she waved us off.

Tomoe's POV:
"What is it now?! It's dinner time you know?!" I said as I went to answer the door for the second time today. Using all the strength I have, I managed to drag a wooden chair to the door and stand on it, undoing the lock on the door and peeking through the gap.
"UGYA!!"
"IN THE NAME OF THE ADVENTURERS GUILD, ALL OF YOU ARE UNDER ARREST!!"
A suspicious man wearing a full set of polished armour charged into the entrance, knocking me off of my chair and onto my behind.
"You... You.."
The tall man in armour looked down on me with a smirk and pointed his sword at my neck.
"COME OUT OR THE LITTLE ONE COPS IT!!"
"You..."
That's it, I've had enough of people just intruding in our quiet household and demanding stuff from us! Especially during dinner time!!
"Hmm? Wha was that you little brat?"
"GET THE FUCK OUTTA MY HOUSE!!"
I think it's safe to say that having a 4 year old go off their nut at you is quite scary.
