Worth king

The sun rose and its morning. Sung-woo carried Seo-bi and jumped down to join the group. Sung-woo and prince Lee-chang were sitting at the table while the others stood up.

Sung-woo looking at the prince: what is your next plan?

Prince Lee-chang: I'm planning to go to Sangju to meet my mentor. We should all go since this place is no longer safe.

Sung-woo: how long will it take till we make it to Sangju?

Seo-bi: we should make it tomorrow morning if we don't travel at night

Sung-woo: it will be dangerous at night

Yeong-shin: it's the best plan we got if not we have to wait here till it's all over

Sung-woo: then we should start to head out now

Prince Lee-chang nodded and Seo-bi told all the citizens the prince's plan. The citizens gather together ready to leave. Suddenly the door started to bang. The citizens panicked thinking it was zombies. Sung-woo knew it was soldiers sent by Prime Minister Hak-ju.

Sung-woo yelled: give us a moment we will open the door.

Seo-bi and the other: what if it's zombies?

Sung-woo waves his hand saying it is fine. Yeong-shin and Moo-young decided to help. They start moving stuff away from the front gate.

Sung-woo whispers so the people on the other can't hear: the people on the other side don't have good intentions. They came to take the prince. When they get here, stay quiet and wait for my signal. If we fail every citizen here is going to die

Yeong-shin and Moo-young were surprised but then agreed. After a while, they managed to move all the stuff from the front gate.

Royal guard leader and the guard came in: I am the leader of the royal guard, I'm here on the order of the king to capture and arrest crown prince Lee-chang due to his act of a traitor. He defies the king's command and kills the king's royal guard. He will be brought back to Hanyang. If resisted he would be executed on the spot along with his fellow offenders.

The citizens were confused but didn't speak up due to fear. They just got away from zombies now they don't want to be killed for some misunderstanding. Moo-young wanted to step up but was stopped by Sung-woo hands

and he mouthed not yet.

All the guards stepped up and surrounded the prince and said: surrender prince Lee-chang so no one else dies.

Prince Lee-chang dropped his sword and put his hands up. He didn't want to involve the citizens or his companions. When the royal guard was about to handcuff the prince, Sung-woo nodded and rushed the guard. Yeong-shin and Moo-young followed lead and attacked the guard.

The royal guard didn't expect to be attacked so Sung-woo was able to kill 2 of them while Yeong-shin managed to kill one each. Seeing this, the royal guard's attention went to Sung-woo and the rest. Taking the opportunity, prince Lee-chang picked up his sword and placed it near the leader's neck.

Prince Lee-chang: all of you put your weapon down or I'll end his life.

The royal guard panicked and then dropped their sword. Sung-woo and Yeong-shin gather their swords. Moo-young tied them up one by one.

Prince Lee-chang questioned aggressively: who gave this order?

No one answered but Sung-woo walked up and pulled out his sword: that is not how you question someone.

Sung-woo stabbed one of the guard's legs and wiggled his blade around making the pain more intense: so are you going to answer?

The guard that was stabbed: I don't know, I was following the leader's order.

Sung-woo pulled his blade out and then questioned everyone else: did you all follow the leader's order?

They all nodded.

Sung-woo shook his head: blindly following orders what a bunch of waste. You all deserve to die.

Prince Lee-chang stopped Sung-woo: we could use them to help us get to Sangju.

Sung-woo wanted to kill them for what they did in the show, killing most of the citizens even a little girl didn't get away. Unfortunately, he has to agree with the prince. he couldn't protect everyone in an open field when zombies attack

Sung-woo looked at the leader and stabbed his leg: spill the truth.

The leader kept his mouth closed.

Sung-woo was surprised: so we got ourselves a loyal dog.

Sung-woo smiled evilly: you better speak now or I'll make you wish I'll kill you earlier.

The leader shudders and stands firm, keeping his mouth shut. Sung-woo commands Yeong-shin to get some salts, an iron shovel, a towel, and water and start a fire. After preparing all the stuff. Sung-woo chops off the leader's legs making him scream out in pain. Sung-woo then rubs salt over his wound to intensify the pain. He placed the iron shovel in the fireplace. The leader was scared and was about to speak but Sung-woo place the hot shovel on the leader's wound making him scream even louder and faint

Prince Lee-chang stopped: he was about to speak. Wake him up and let him talk.

Sung-woo clicked his tongue: I wasn't done yet

Sung-woo then splashed water at the leader waking him up.

Prince Lee-chang saw the leader awake and asked: did the king order this?

The leader stayed quiet until he saw Sung-woo's eyes and said: it was prime minister Hak-ju. He sent out this order because you killed his only son.

The other guard heard this and was surprised because they thought the prince was a traitor. They feel a flash of guilt for almost arresting the prince and helping a traitor like Hak-ju.

Sung-woo hurried: we should leave soon or we won't make it to Sangju and what are we going to do with him?

Prince Lee-chang: just let him go, he is no longer a threat.

Sung-woo shook his head: no just kill him and make an example. You need to be more firm to be a ruler. He knew he was going to betray the kingdom but he did it anyway. What makes you think he won't do it again?

The leader shuddered: please i won't do it again please spare me

Prince Lee-chang was shocked and agreed with Sung-woo but he couldn't kill a defenseless man: no I can't

The leader was happy and thank the prince: thank you your highness

Sung-woo sighed: if you can't then I'll will

Sung-woo cut the leader's throat , killing him slowly.

Prince Lee-chang was shocked and yelled: why did you kill him when I let him go?

Sung-woo answered: you disappointed me, young prince. Do you think he will let you go if it's the other way around?

Prince Lee-chang angered me: so you want me to go around killing anyone that crosses me?

Sung-woo: no but I expected you to be a fair ruler. I get that you want to be a kind king in the future but don't let them take your kindness as a weakness. He betrayed the kingdom so that deserved death.

Sung-woo put his sword away, walked past, and said: if you can't get that through your head then maybe Hak-Ju should take your place as king.
