A well needed rest

Prince Lee-chang and his group ran toward the giant beast zombie. The zombie whipped its thorny tongue at Moo-young. Moo-young took a step back and stabbed down with his sword impaling the tongue on the ground, keeping it still.

Prince Lee-chang and Yeong-shin ran toward its legs and like Sung-woo tried to cut down one of its legs. The zombie clawed at the prince. Yeong-shin jumps and stabs at the zombie's palm to stop the attack. Prince Lee-chang got near its legs and swung his sword toward one of the zombie's legs.

The sword went in halfway through but then stopped. Prince Lee-chang wasn't able to cut through the zombie's bones. He tried to pull back his sword but it was stuck and then the zombie swung his other claw toward the prince. Prince Lee-chang quickly reacted, released his sword, jumped, and rolled away avoiding the sharp claws.

The zombie changes its attention to Yeong-shin and stabs at him with its claws. Yeong-shin pulled his spear out and dodge it while moving behind the zombie. Yeong-shin held his spear horizontally and tackled the zombie behind its knees knocking it over.

Moo-young saw the opportunity, pulled out his sword from the ground, releasing the zombie's tongue. Moo-young jumped up and swung down on the zombie's neck. The sword made it halfway through again. Prince Lee-chang managed to pull his sword out of the zombie's leg and chopped down with a sword next to Moo-young's blade. The zombie's tongue comes whipping toward the prince. Yeong-shin threw his spear at the tongue, keeping it away from the prince. Prince Lee-chang's sword landed on the neck of the zombie, managing to finally cut it through.

The giant beast zombie body went limp. The group start panting for air. They were exhausted but they were excited because they took down something this strong.

Sung-woo: took you guys long enough

Prince Lee-chang's group looks at Sung-woo and see him standing there with his arm crossed chewing on beef jerky. They feel a sense of inferiority.

Sung-woo: Let's clear the rest of the zombies

Yeong-shin: We should also burn the body because I saw the beast zombie become stronger after eating the giant zombie.

Sung-woo was surprised by the news and noticed the normal zombie not even paying attention to the giant beast zombie

Sung-woo: you guys handle the normal zombie and I take care of the body.

Prince Lee-chang and the group agreed. They went toward the gate while Sung-woo went to the forest to get dry logs and kill zombies along the way. When Sung-Woo returned to the giant beast zombie and saw a beast zombie about to eat the giant mutated zombie. Sung-woo rushed forward and liked the beast zombies. After he was done he set both bodies on fire and then waited till the body turned to ashes before leaving. Sung-woo returns to the group and notices them clearing out the rest of the zombies. They then went into the clinic.

Sung-woo went to Yeong-shin: how much did you kill?

Yeong-shin smiled and said: 30 how about you?

Sung-woo smirked: not bad, I got 60 though.

Prince Lee-chang change the subject: all the elderly, women, and children should stay inside where it safe

Yeong-shin added: we should have someone on the wall to be on the lookout just in case mutated zombies come.

Prince Lee-chang suggested: we will take turns taking shifts.

Sung-woo interrupted: it's fine I'll be on the lookout for the night everyone deserves a break.

Prince Lee-chang: That's not right, you are the main fighting force. We are going to need you at your best.

Sung-woo chews another mouth full of jerky: I'll be fine as long as I get something to eat. Go to sleep everyone needs to rest especially after that big fight you guys just had.

Prince Lee-chang and the rest were exhausted and finally agreed. The prince and Moo-young went to a private room. While Yeong-shin found an empty place in the corner next to the wall and fell asleep. Seo-bi was sleeping next to all the children that lost their parents. Sung-woo on the wall looking around.

Sung-woo chewed on the jerky and sighed: man I wish I had wine.

Yeong-shin got on the wall and threw Sung-woo a skin pouch. Sung-woo opened it and smelled it. It was wine and he took a mouth full. He then passed it back to Yeong-shin.

Yeong-shin held out his hands: keep it you deserved it

Sung-woo put the skin pouch away and handed over some beef jerky: thanks, have something to eat.

Yeong-shin ate the jerky and asked: when will this all be over?

Sung-woo sigh: when everyone decides to unite and kill the zombie instead of killing each other.

Yeong-shin said: so never?

Sung-woo didn't say anything and looked into the distance. Then they heard someone trying to climb up the wall. It was Seo-bi. Yeong-shin saw her and decided to sneak away

Sung Woo heard her and sneaked to her: do you need help, my wife?

Seo-bi jumped when she saw Sung-woo but answered: help me up.

Sung-woo stuck out his hand and grabbed Seo-bi's hands and pulled her up. Sung-woo brought her to a comfortable spot on they sat down

Sung-woo teases her: shouldn't you be sleeping or have you missed me too much?

Seo-bi blushed and didn't answer.

Sung-woo stops teasing her and hugs her. Seo-bi body shook, then hug him back. Sung-woo let Seo-bi lean on his shoulder.

Sung-woo asked: when did you fall for me?

Seo-bi was shocked about the question but answered: since you saved me the second time. Even though we just met, you are the only person that made me feel safe. Seeing you faint that night made me confirm my feelings. I knew I didn't want to lose you.

Sung-woo smiled: is it that simple?

Seo-bi slapped Sung-woo's shoulder: I'm not that casual. It's just I never felt this way before and I don't want to lose this feeling.

Sung-woo nodded.

Seo-bi asked: when did you fall for me?

Sung-woo thought: since I watched the show.

He thought that Seo-bi was a brave and independent woman. He always dreams of having a woman close to Seo-bi instead of a girl that only cares about fashion and beauty. Seo-bi saw Sung-woo in a daze and shook him.

Sung-woo snapped out of his thoughts and answered: since you help me. You are willing to help a stranger and give him a place to stay which means you are kind-hearted.

Seo-bi was satisfied with the answer because she just confirmed her relationship with Sung-woo. She was so happy that she buried her head in Sung-woo's chest.

They stayed like that till morning.
