No, no, no, no.

It couldn't be true. I had hated that dog even before Lily's death. He and his friends had made my life a living hell at Hogwarts, and he was an easy scapegoat, even though I knew I was partly to blame.

But that rat, if I had been in charge of administering Veritaserum, I would have increased the dosage to make sure both of them were rendered immobile. But alas, one can only dream.

The Headmaster had been concerned about Potter's custody now that Black was revealed as his godfather. It was actually a good outcome, as I knew Petunia from childhood and how she treated the boy.

Killing Pettigrew would be difficult in Azkaban, but there would surely be opportunities in the future and I would make sure to do my job.

The next big news in the Daily Prophet was the divorce of Lucius Malfoy and Narcissa Malfoy or Black, or Lady Ashwood as she was now known.

This announcement had caused an equal amount of chaos in the British wizarding world.

Divorces were rare, and I couldn't recall the last one that had occurred.

But the most astonishing thing was the connection between Narcissa and Heir Peverell. He had given her the ladyship of one of his houses, which essentially made her his wife.

According to the paper, Narcissa had de-aged and looked in her early twenties. This had ignited the witches' desire for Heir Peverell even more, as now a magic that could keep them youthful had emerged. I had been a potions master for decades and knew that beauty potions sold well, even if we priced them ten times the production cost. When it came to beauty, women didn't think with their brains.

<Draco Malfoy POV>

I had become the laughing stock of the Slytherin House because of my useless mother. She had ruined my life, and now I understood why father always despised her.

Once again, Heir Peverell had humiliated me, and I hated him and her more than anything else.

Father told me that my grandfather, Lord Black, whom I had met a few times, was a powerful wizard. But I was sure he would have prevented Narcissa from divorcing Lucius, but apparently he had supported her.

I had skipped classes for two days because of everyone's mockery. My godfather had warned the students not to tease me in front of him, but I knew they had not stopped behind his back.

That damned Weasley had laughed at me a lot, he had kissed an old man who was in the form of a rat, and he dared to mock me.

Potter, on the other hand, had been gloomy. He didn't react to anything I or anyone else said.

I would definitely take my revenge for this humiliation. I would make them both, Heir Peverell and Narcissa.

<Millicent Bagnold pov>

That boy always made things difficult for me. He had caused me a lot of trouble, as many lords had written letters questioning the legitimacy of Lord Malfoy's divorce, and some were curious about the new magic he had discovered.

The boy had done it again, and even other wizarding countries were interested in his achievements.

Every century or so, new magic emerged that shook the world, and this time Agustus was the one who had done it. He had created something that everyone wanted.

The picture of Narcissa Ashwood before and after she became the wife of Heir Peverell had been seen by many witches, and they would pay a fortune for it. Hell, even I would be willing to pay him.

Anyway, I had to stabilize the ministry again. The trial of Crouch Sr. was approaching too.

After Potter ran away, Ron chased after him. The students had been gossiping a lot about the whole case, until someone pointed out the news about Draco's parents' divorce.

The students forgot about the Black trial and shifted their attention to this new topic.

The news shocked the Slytherin table, as this was a rare occurrence. Draco, who had been sitting with Theodore Nott and Pansy Parkinson, looked stunned.

Draco stared at the newspaper in disbelief. He couldn't make sense of the situation. He was questioning everything. His mother, whom he disliked and considered irrelevant to his life, was still Lady Malfoy. Her divorcing his father was a great humiliation for the Malfoys.

'It would have been better if father had divorced her and married someone else before she could do anything,' Draco thought, but he could only sigh.

He looked around and saw the eyes of his fellow Slytherins. He left the table quickly, under the amused gazes of the other students.

Things had been going well for Agustus, except for the constant questioning from Cedric and the twins. They had been saluting him with respect every time they saw him, which made him uncomfortable.

Dora, on the other hand, had been very clingy. She would always hold his hand, even in classes, and nobody would dare to question them.

He had received letters from Millie, Lady Greengrass, Aunt Andromeda, and Astoria, asking about his relationship with Narcissa. He had replied to them all casually, not giving them any significant information.

Except for Dora's mother, who had insisted on meeting him. He could feel the threat in the air if he refused to meet her.

Harry Potter and Sirius Black had arranged a meeting, with Sirius having to persuade Dumbledore to let Harry see him. Harry was regretting not hurting Pettigrew when he had the chance, but he was looking forward to meet one of his parents best friend.

Dumbledore had denied Sirius's request many times, but Sirius had not given up.

Agustus had been preparing to meet Andy and Edward, Dora's parents. Dora was looking forward to this meeting, as she knew her mother and father would give him a hard time.
