Chapter 19

My reiatsu had increased to Great in my base form after mastering my Shikai and after achieving Bankai it skyrocketed to Vast. My Zanjutsu finally reached Expert rank, while my Hoho and Hakuda reached Master. I was now also at the peak of Expert rank in Kido. Rangiku also had massive leaps in her progress as we trained together. She was Master at Zanjutsu and Expert at all the others. She also had Great spiritual pressure and also had achieved her Bankai.

The only reason I was waiting to take a Captain's position was because of the Hollowfication incident. I didn't want to get Aizen's attention before that as he might drag me into the incident and destroy all that I have worked for.

After reaching my office, I do a little paperwork. After that I go and talk with Soi Fon then Yoruichi. After that, I do some more paperwork.

It was already in the evening when a person comes bursting into my office. It was Soi Fon and she was holding a document which she hands to me.

After reading it I internally laughed thinking, 'it is finally starting'. The document stated that Captain Kensei Maguruma of the 9th division and a few of his members were missing. This document was asking for members of the Omnitsukido to scout around for them.

"Give this to Omāeda" I said as I gave her the document. I stood up and shunpo to Yoruichi's office to see it empty.

I went back to my office and waited for the results of the incident.

————————Yoruichi's POV————————

I was speeding through the forest I had first seen Sakura to the spot were Kisuke had called me. I sensed a lot of people coming this way. But I just ignored it as I went for Kisuke's location.

After a while I finally landed at an opening and saw Kisuke pointing a purple stone at Captain Kensei and a few of his squad mates. As I got closer I saw that the 9th division people had hollow masks on.

"Kisuke what's going on" I asked him as I was confused at what was happening.

"Aizen turned put hollows into them and I'm trying to remove them"he replied then continued to do what he was doing.

"So it was Aizen " I said gritting my teeth. That crazy bastard.

The people that coming here arrived and saw Kisuke pointing the hogyoku at the hollowfied

Shinigami. They immediately attacked shouting that we were traitors trying to turn fellow shinigami into hollows.

Among them was the 5th division Captain Shinji, Captain of the 7th division Love Aikawa, Captain of the 3rd division Rojuro Otoribashi and Vice Captain of the Kido Corps.

Kisuke's concentration is broken and the hollowfied shinigami start going on a rampage on the shinigami that had just arrived. Kisuke and I moved aside and watched.

After a gruesome fight Tessai,(Kido corps Captain and a friend of Kisuke) arrived and incapacitated them. The shinigami that were bitten in the fight also started showing signs of Hollowfication.

The other Captains and Aizen finally arrived after some time to see Kisuke as he stabilized the Hollowfied Shinigami.

Kisuke opened his artificial Dangai and we escaped with the hollowfied shinigami and Tessai to the human world. The hollowfied shinigami joined us knowing there wouldn't be allowed to live in Soul Society since there were part hollow.

As I left I knew that the 2nd division wouldn't crumble as Sakura would make a good Captain.
