Sorry, I don't know how my chapters got mixed up

While he was working on the first sword I decided to explore the city for a while.

At first I just wandered the streets enjoying the amazing view of this city it's quite amazing at how big it is exactly when it's inside a mountain.

I seen a bunch of food stalls, sadly I can't taste anything so I moved on to a art like gallery, there art is different but cool but I finally found the place I was looking for the library.

Great Sage is amazing but she can only tell me something I've seen or know about, as long as I know a little bit she can make a almost perfect guess to fill in what I don't.

I had to sweet talk the librarian to allow me in.

The first thing I looked for was topics about Magicules, I had Great Sage pay extra attention during my time at the library.

My next topic was about the surrounding kingdoms, kinda boring subject but very useful.

Then I moved into hero's and Demon Lords of the past.

One of my favorite was about how they ranked monsters and adventures.

After my reading on that topic, (Great Sage, what is your estimate on my rank?)

(Answer; after analyzing the attacks of the adventures and the damage done to yourself and the knowledge of the power a monster should hold at a certain rank, my findings should put you at a early A rank monster.)

Not to bad for not being on this planet to long.

After that exciting news I continued to my books.

One of the last subjects I read was about politics and I hate it, just like in my last life, keep me away.

After taking so long in the library I decided to head back to the shop and adventure some more later.

Once I bounced back, I seen that Kaijin was almost done with one sword.

He looked at me and looked dejected, "there is no way I'll make it by my appointed time, even if I stop putting so much detail in my work and make an assembly line there won't be enough in time, thanks for the confidence boost earlier though."

I thought for a moment, (Sage since we have the materials in my slime tummy can you analyze the sword and make perfect replicas?)

(Answer; I will be able to make perfect if not better replicas as long as you use Predator on a perfect sword.)

(Great, you always say what I want.)

"Is that sword almost done?"

"Yes? Just a few small touches."

"Is it a good sword?"

"Of course I don't slack on my work I have a reputation."

"Good let me see it when your done."

He didn't say anything and just looked at me weird, then got back to work.

After about 20 minutes he laid the sword in front of me.

"Your happy with this sword?"

"Of course."

"Good." Then I swallowed the sword and had Great Sage analyze and copy, 20 swords.

"Hey what did you do with my sword I worked all day on that."

"Just wait and see old man you'll be beyond amazed."

Then I started to spit out 20 swords in a neat way on the ground.

"By the kings name that's 20 magisteel swords in perfect condition," he looked at me, "how did you do it?"

I just laughed, "a magician never reveals his secret."

"I don't understand but wow I can't believe it, he picks me up, you're amazing I'm going to make it in time."

"Hey put me down old man I don't want to be picked up."

Once I was on the ground. "You're not mad at the fact I made perfect copies of your work."

He scratches his head, "well I'm not going to lie my pride took a small hit but I'll just make a sword so good you can't copy."

"Deal."

After he picked up all the swords he went to turn them in so he wouldn't have to worry about them anymore.

I decided to stay in his shop and look around to get ideas for later.

When he got back he picked up some stragglers, apparently he seen the three brothers on the way back and they all decided to drink to celebrate.

Kaijin looked at me, "do you want to go to the bar with us?"

"I'm not sure you guys."

Garm spoke up, "come on you'll love it there's a bunch of cute Elves there."

"You said Elves!"

Dord chimed in, "yeah it's a place called Butterfly of the Night, it's packed with cute elven women of all ages and size."

I thought well I do have to see all the different species in this world for research purposes.

Before I could speak Kaijin help the others push, "come on Rimuru you have to come it's not a celebration without you, you are the main reason I got done, I insist."

"Well if you want me there so badly I'll go to make you all happy."

They all just grinned.

As we all walked in, the first thing I thought was how did I miss this earlier.

When we walked in the main room someone spoke, "hey it's Kaijin how are you doing."

I looked at him, "come here often?"

He just grinned.

Then every one of the Elves said, "welcome masters how may we help you?"

Then one of the girls ran towards me yelling "ow cutie."

I thought that's my line.

Then she picked me up and squeezed me tight, shortly after I was surrounded and I was in heaven.

This is the best life ever, I need to find a way to have them come to my village once we have regular buildings. I happened to glance over to the brothers and Kaijin and they were grinning at me.

"You sure look like you're enjoying yourself for not wanting to come."

"Oh shut it old man your just jealous."

Then one of the girls who wasn't surrounding me said. "ok, who's ready for a drink."

We all said "me" I even did, I can't taste it but why not.

When we sat down at a table I got the best seat there, right under mini versions of me it's the best.

We drank and talked for a while until the girl next to the one I was sitting on asked, "do you even taste it Mr. Slime?"

"No but when a gorgeous woman such as yourself pours it, it has to be amazing."

"Aren't you a sweet talker."

I make a tendril and use it to make it look like I bowed, " I try to be, madam."

She just giggles.

Another girl asked if I wanted my fortune told and all the guys egged it on so she did, she brought out a glass ball to see who I was meant to be with, then she was funny and tried to use me.

Everyone laughed, "Funny."

"Sorry, I'll do it for real now."

She rubbed her hand over the ball then a video of sorts started to show, it showed two girls I couldn't quite make out then it changed to another woman with some children.

"Those better not be mine, I'm just a young slime, I don't want to pay slime support."

Everyone chuckled then the women who was messing with the ball. "Your look like your very popular Mr. slime."

"Well thank you."

Kaijin said, "that's some pretty ladies."

One of them fake pouted. "But you didn't choose one of us."

"Be my guest, I love facing challenges."

Random voice. "My, isn't this interesting, should you really be drinking when you have a order to fulfill."

Kaijin grumbled. "Of course it had to be him."

Oh so it's that guy, I was correct I hate him already.

He looked at us with a creepy smile, "good evening Kaijin."

He answered with a tone that you could tell he didn't want to be here. "Right back at you Minister Vesta

He walked towards us slowly. "I'm beyond surprised you're here enjoying yourself when the."

Kaijin spoke, "I turned them in earlier."

He didn't hear and continued. "Deadline is approaching, wait what?"

"I said I already turned them in earlier."

He put on a fake smile. "That's good I knew you could do it."

"Thanks I guess."

Man can this guy be any more fake it's beyond obvious he has a grudge with Kaijin.

Once he didn't get what he wanted out of Kaijin he looked at me.

Not good.

He looked at the owner. "When do you allow monsters into this establishment?"

"Well, he's only a harmless slime."

I internally laughed, me harmless, to them always.

"But you do agree he's a monster."

She came over with a drink. "It's harmless, here have a drink, enjoy yourself."

He grabbed it took a sip. "Here I'll show you how to treat a monster." Then he pored the drink on me.

(Notice; fruit wine, alcohol content 7%.)

(Not now.)

I looked up at the girl I'm sitting on. "Did anything get on you?"

"Just a little."

I sucked what was on her dress then looked back at the minister.

He really ticked me off, first he's beyond rude then poured the drink onto me, I'm fine with it being on me I just sucked it up but some got on the dress.

Before I could do anything Kaijin got up and socked him in the face.

Ow that looks like it hurt.

"Just because that slime is nicer then you doesn't mean you can do whatever you want."

He looked scared and backed up. "Do you know what you just did."

He ignored him and hit him again in the face and he stayed down.

Kaijin looked at me. "Is that offer still available for me to work for you?"

I got excited. "For you always."
