I am Really blessed by Lady Luck

"Mother, what is the father?", a little girl with dirty clothes, and a dirty but cute face asked the woman with chained legs and a mature aura.

The question intrigued the other children in the dim-lit prison. They all gather around the woman to know the answer.

The woman was Evelyn, she looked at the curious eyes of the little girls, which seemed void otherwise.

She patted the girls near her and said in a caring voice, "A father, is the one who protects you from bad guys, who hug you when you are scared, who heal you when you are hurt, who build a beautiful house for you to live in and gives you new clothes and gifts, and who cooks for you".

[Present Day]

Evelyn gave that answer to keep hopes in the girls alive but she didn't know that they will call me, their father, which I didn't mind.

The food was delicious and heavenly, my daughters liked it, my wife liked it, and my guests liked it.

For a man, an appreciation from his family would give him more happiness than from a stranger.

After breakfast, I called everyone in the hall to discuss the future.

"I learned magic from Mrs. Sorcerer and now I don't need you to be a maid because I will be adding some magic circles for auto cleaning and auto repair", I said to the women standing in the hall.

The girls were playing with the new toys that I created.

My speech made them desperate, they thought that I would abandon them.

"I will not abandon anyone, I want to know the skills that you are most skilled in. Like Evelyn, she is a surgeon, and Luna is a software engineer. I don't want your skills to go to waste and I also need some helping hand in the opening of my new restaurant. I could do all the work but it's no fun in that", I could do every work but I just want to give them a busy schedule to occupy their mind.

They all sighed in relief after hearing my speech. They thought for a moment and then one by one they came forward to introduce themselves formally with their skill and experience.

I was surprised by the result because all were talented, seeing my shocked expression, Evelyn came forward to explain.

"Vampires like to break strong-minded women so they demanded beauty with brains", Evelyn said with a sad tone.

I nodded and formed a list based on their field of expertise.

Although several fields were vast, I just categorized them into one to make it simple. It was also to be noted that they were professionals in their respective fields and used to lead several teams, before their downfall.

"Luck lady is really by my side", I thought as I looked at the list.

I wanted to open a restaurant and I got my Co-Chefs. I wanted to open a Tech Company and Hospital and I got the talented individuals to start it.

"I will be making a workshop on my property where I will train and hone your skills. I will also assign you all a teacher for your magic and martial artist. The usage of magic is vast and it will help you not only to protect yourself and could apply it in your respective fields. I will provide you protection, money, and power but in return, I want you all to work for me in my companies, which I will be opening in my future", I stopped to see their reactions.

Their eyes were shining, they dreamt of their past and wished they could return to it. They were the type of people who loved what they did, they had a passion for it and now I said to improve their skills and even employ them in my company which made them happy.

They believed me when I said I would improve their skills because of the magic that I did.

I asked them, "Will you work for me?".

"Yes, Master!!!", they said all at once. I was surprised by their way of calling me but I liked it.

They referred to me as their master as they didn't know what to call me and the second reason was that, they were forced to call me Master by the Vampires, so they subconsciously referred to me as Master.

"Everyone, take rest for a few days to recuperate your mind and body, meanwhile I build the workshop and upgrade the Castle. If you need anything make a list of it and give it to me I make or buy it for you", I said and went towards the room where my daughters were playing.

"Mr. Wade, I think I should be going now, I left the sanctuary in a hurry without doing any preparation for its protection", Ancient One said maturely.

I came closer to her and asked for her hand, she was surprised by my request but she complied with my request.

I took her hand and gave her a tattoo on her fingers where she uses her sling ring. The tattoo glowed and then disappeared.

Ancient One was surprised by the process but was more surprised by the tattoo.

The tattoo was an ancient inscription, it was the same inscription that was there on the sling ring.

The tattoo was more advanced than the sling ring as it consumed less magical energy and it was permanent on the body, no one can steal it unless someone cut off the finger on which it was inscribed.

It acts as a pass to open a portal on my property and can't be copied due to its complexity and it's being invisible.

"You are full of surprises Mr. Wade, I will come and teach the ladies and maybe the children, but before I have to see if they are sensitive to magic", she said while using the tattoo to open the portal.

"You don't have to worry about that, just be on time, otherwise I may have to cut your fees. Remember 7:00 am sharp from tomorrow onwards", I said while waving my hand to her.

She smiled and entered the portal, the light from the portal attracted the girls and all of them came chirping like birds.

"Look, Look it's magic, the magic lady did swoosh swoosh with her hand and disappeared, father where did the magic lady go?", asked Penelope while trying to imitate the Ancient One.

I rubbed her head and said, "Don't worry Penelope, she will come here tomorrow and teach you all the magic that she did, I asked her as I saw you all excited to see her perform".

They all jumped at me due to their excitement and said, "Thank you, Father".

"You don't have to thank me, but you all have to practice very diligently and listen to every word your teacher says to you, if you do well I will give you surprises", I said while catching them in my arms.
