XXXIII: Big Fucking Gun.

In the basement of the princess's mansion, a 'fantasy' demonstration was taking place in an already fantastic world. Princess Rolanda watched in amazement at what the strange woman in front of her was doing.

The cellar was unbelievably large, probably space magic had been used to create such a room. All the allies the princess had found were here, the team led by Marie and the team led by Monic. The latter was a tall woman, almost two meters long, but her proportions and features were quite beautiful, giving her a noble presence.

Her hair was blue and surprisingly long, so much so that even braided, it reached down to her ankles. Still, even with so much hair, anyone watching her fight would say that it was not a hindrance, but an adornment that magnified the 'beautiful dance' that was her fighting form. But the source of amazement was not her, but the last member of her group that we had not yet met.

A delicate-looking woman, with dirty brown hair, wearing a robe full of dirt, her body emitted a strong smell of sweat, but no one cared about that, only about the strange things on her body not to mention the strange glasses on her face, the mechanical tentacles coming out of her back, or the small eight-legged mechanical creature that was constantly moving on her body.

No, everyone was focused on the object in her hand, something that if you are a Warhammer fan you will recognize, a damned bolter. There are firearms in this world, and there is a relatively advanced technology, though it was not released to the public, Rolanda had never seen a weapon so strange, so powerful, so cruel.

She watched as the woman, who was barely five feet tall and whose body looked so frail that the slightest breeze could send her flying, laughed madly as she fired this terrible weapon at a humanoid target it was a living elf that had been captured and used as a test 'dummy'.

Watching the unfortunate elf's limbs explode from the bullets was a sight that even she, a mage and princess of a xenophobic kingdom, found cruel and unnecessarily gory. I repeat she is a princess of a kingdom that makes potions out of elf blood and uses their eyes as jewels, so you know how unnecessarily gory the whole thing was.

"Fuck, Violet, when you said you'd make that weapon, I never thought you'd pull it off," said Alex, who jumped excitedly to his companion and looked with glowing eyes at the huge weapon the woman was carrying.

It was a silver weapon with golden lines carved into it, and I don't know if it was because Violet was such a fan of Warhammer 40K, but the weapon had a golden double-headed eagle drawn on it. Proudly, the woman placed the weapon on a wooden table, making a loud noise to demonstrate how heavy her weapon was.

"I'm keeping my promise if I hadn't replaced my body with magical technology, I would never be able to hold this weapon, but I feel it can be better than this," Violet said with obvious pride in her voice, even stroking the weapon with her right hand.

Her hand was something else to point out, although it was white and thin, if you looked closely, there were some golden lines, and if you could examine those lines more closely, you could see countless runes. Her whole body had those lines, but what they meant and what changes she made to her body, no one but Monic knew, they could only see the external changes, like the mechanical tentacles on her back.

"I don't know, Violet gives me strong Adeptus Mecanicus vibes," said John, who even as a wizard couldn't take his eyes off that weapon.

It was art, a mixture of magic and technology, an absolute weapon of war, full of beauty, power, and cruelty. Even he, a typical weak wizard, wanted one for himself.

"Didn't I tell you where she came from?" asked Jack, who was levitating two purple orbs using two blue energy 'threads' coming out of his body, the objects going up and down as they constantly spun around his body, something he was doing unconsciously at this point.

"No, actually we didn't talk to her much, especially Seone, ever since she suggested cutting off his hand to replace it with a bio-arm, he stayed away from her out of fear," Susie teased, looking at Seone with amused eyes, and he just rolled his eyes.

"I felt the desire to 'cut myself' on her, and I didn't want to make the group relationship uncomfortable, so I kept my distance," Seone replied, feeling that desire from Violet again, but knowing by this point that it wasn't a 'bad' thing per se, just a habit of the woman's.

"Then let me tell you where she comes from," Monic said, standing up as everyone looked at her except Violet, who was concentrating on her things, as she spoke.

"She comes from a world we all know, Marvel," when she said that name, some of the people present, who understood how fucked up Marvel was sometimes, shivered.

Rolanda was already up to date with the strangeness of these people that appeared from time to time. When she made contact with both teams, she received a call from her father, the King, giving her the information of her true origin, information that only kings and people in high places in this world know.

What, did you think that all reincarnate had an iron will? Or that no one is allowed to say where they came from? Hehehehehehehe, never judge the natives with haughty eyes, or they will cut you down to study you and learn your secrets. So, even though it was knowledge that few knew, it existed.

So even though Rolanda knew they were from another world, she didn't understand why some of her companions trembled at the sound of 'Marvel', then the typical wizard curiosity piqued her.

"What is the Marvel World?" the princess asked, and Axel decided to answer her.

"It's one of the biggest, most famous, and honestly, most fucked up worlds. Sure, Warhammer 40K is fucked up too, but you'll never see a flesh-covered version of the universe in the latter.

You heard that right, a flesh-eaten universe, living flesh and growing all the time. Yes, there are the Tyranids in WH40K, but movies and lore aside, there is a hell of a lot of fucked up stuff in Marvel," Axel's voice echoed in the basement, Violet stopped what she was doing and looked at the archer.

"My mother told me about several such universes, she said if I wanted to travel the multiverse I should be very careful, not an incompetent idiot like Mr. Fantastic who once opened a rift to a universe full of zergs," after speaking Violet looked at Monic, visually indicating for him to continue.

"Yes, as I said, she comes from Marvel, her mother is Dr. Octopus, who with the help of Kingpin created a machine capable of opening portals through the multiverse, and even passed her information to another version of herself, though the last one was defeated by another Spider-Man... yes, the plot of the cartoon.

Violet's mother and her boss were more cautious, and became quite powerful by obtaining technology from other worlds, turning their own into a classic cyberpunk dystopia. So body enhancement is a normal thing for her, and her scam, 'Profound Knowledge of Magical Technology', has only fueled her desire for technological transcendence, even though she is now techno-magical," after she finished speaking, the room fell silent, but Seone raised her hand as if she were in school.

"Isn't it very coincidental that she had a cheat related to something she had experience with in some way?" his question made Monic's team look at him strangely, and then it was Alex who answered.

"Obviously! Many cheats are given according to a range of compatibility, some are suitable, some match your past life, some are bad and even negative for you according to certain themes, didn't you know that?" his 'you can't be that stupid' look deeply hurt Seone who coughed to ease his embarrassment.

"I didn't ask such profound things I feel now that I should have asked more questions, Ron, didn't you ask that?" asked Seone to Ron, who had his hand on his chin, deep in thought.

"No, at the time I just thought I was lucky, and at the time we didn't have much contact with other reincarnates, even if they were from our group, so I missed that question and a few others," Ron replied, clearing the doubts that arose in his team members.

Marie, who felt that this could be an opportunity, looked Monic in the eyes.

"We should share the questions and answers we did that day, we might find some information we need," the blonde said to the witch, who nodded in agreement.

Rolanda then enjoyed a lot of information, even though she already knew some facts, the rest was very interesting for a wizard like her. Now she longed to travel to other worlds in the future and explore the vastness of the Omniverse.

In the future, there would be a traveler with purple hair and incredible power, brimming with curiosity about everything she encountered. Perhaps in the future, she would meet her current companions in one of these worlds.
