The Setup

[ MANHATTAN LOWER EAST SIDE - 10 July 2008 - 02:11 Am]

A man in a black two-piece suit get's out the back of a black Sedan car. He nods to his two bodyguards already waiting for him by the door and moves to the entrance of the building, and nods his head to the lookout who opens the door for him.

As he enters the building, walking down the hallway, he looks to his left seeing a kitchen and dining room. Three Caucasian and two African-American men are seen sitting at the dining table playing poker, laughing and playfully arguing among each other. They all look up at the man and nod their heads, receiving a nod back.

The man continuing down the hallway looks to his right, seeing a living room with a tv set. Four African-American guys are huddled around the coffee table playing dominoes and arguing and joking among each other. They look up at the man and nod at him, receiving a nod back.

He continues down the hallway finally reaching his destination, his bodyguard opens the door for him. The man enters the room, going down the flight of stairs leading to the basement, as he is walking down he hears someone grunting in pain and the sound of flesh being hit.

The man now at the bottom of the stairs walks deeper in to the basement, with the grunts of pain echoing in the room. He finally comes to a stop a few steps away from a big, burly, ball headed Caucasian guy hitting a man, hanging upside down from the ceiling.

"I think that's enough Jack" The man in the suit says to Jack. Jack stops hitting the hanging man and steps away to the side. The man in the suit walks up to the hanging man but still standing a few steps back.

"Take him down" The man says to one of his bodyguards. The bodyguard walks up to the seemingly unmoving hanging man and takes him down, while he is doing that the other bodyguard brings a chair next to him. He puts the guy in the chair and they both walk back to standing at the sides of the man in the suit.

After a few seconds of silence, the bruised and battered shirtless man, coughs a few times and then looks up at the man in the suit.

The man in the suit looks at the wrecked man and shakes his head with a sigh.

"Oh how the great have fallen, isn't that right.......................................... .....................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................Red Hood.....

[ Flash Back - HELLS KITCHEN - 3 July 2008 - 23:10 Pm]

"Drug exchange in an abandoned factory, how original" The two groups surprised and confused look up to the overpass and see "Shit it's the Red Hood", one of them shouts and the two groups start firing at him.

"Lights out" Red Hood says while jumping off of the overpass, just as the lights go out. Which isn't a problem for him because of the night vision function in his lenses, but it is a big problem for the seven guys down below who immediately stop shooting scared they made might hit one of their own.

"What the hell", "Shit what happened to the lights."

"How considerate of you to stop shooting" Red Hood says now sitting on the hood of the car, he does a flip off of the car and shoots the two guys that were standing to the side of the car in the head, while mid air.

He lands a crotch-throat takedown on one of the guys standing at the front of the car and shoots him the head, "Black Widow eat your heart out" he says shooting the other guy in the knee. He quickly stands up and grabs him as a human shield just as the lights turn back on.

"I have a hostage, put the guns down" Red Hood exclaims pointing his gun at the guys head. The last three guys look at the scene in front of them shocked and scared at how fast they were killed. They look back over at Red Hood in fear and put their guns down and their hands up, not wanting to be killed.

Red Hood looks genuinely confused and in disbelieve at them "That actually worked??", he says and proceeds to shoot them all in the knees too.

"FUUUUCK, what the fuck!!?? we gave up man??" one of the guys shouts in pain grabbing on to his knees and glaring at Red Hood. Red Hood unbothered by his whining just shrugs "So?", he tosses the guy he was holding hostage to the ground who shouts in pain. Red Hood points at them with his guns "Just making sure you don't run, while you wait for the cops".

He hears the sound of police sirens, "Well catch you on the flip side" he says with a wave. The lights turn off for few a seconds and turns back on again, with Red Hood nowhere to be found.

[ SAINT AGNES ORPHANAGE - 4 July 2008 - 13:23 Pm]

Jason is sitting by his computer playing Mass Effect. Felicia is sitting cross legged on his bed reading a book. Each doing their own thing in silence.

They hear a knock at the door, "Come in" Jason says not looking up from his computer monitor. The door swings open revealing Matt Murdock with his walking stick.

"Hi Jason, how ya been?", He walks into the room, closing the door behind him. Jason pauses the game and looks up at Matt with a smile on his face "Hi Matt, I'm Fine...you know still amazingly handsome and smart".

Matt chuckles with a smile on his face and walks over to him, all while tapping his walking stick on the ground to find his way, "I don't know about the handsome part." he says stopping in front of him.

Jason standing just laughs and pulls him into a hug "It's always nice seeing you Matt". Matt just laughs at his remark and pulls back from the hug "Wish I could say the same". Jason just chuckles and asks "So what brings you here?".

Matt just shrugs and says "I was in the area...so I thought why not pay you a visit". Jason nods his head "Thanks, I guess". Matt nods his head "No problem". After a few seconds of silence he asks "So what have you bee--..".

"Shit, I almost forgot to introduce you to my girlfriend" Jason says cutting him off mid sentence. Matt acting the role of a blind man to perfection tilts his in confusion, "Girlfriend??...she's in here with you??".

Jason nods his head and says "She's sitting on the bed right now". Felicia taking that as her cue stands up off of the bed "Hi, My names Felicia Hardy" she says with a polite smile even though, he can't see it. Matt turns to the sound of the voice and holds his hand "Matthew Murdock", Felicia shakes his hand and then lets go "but you can just call me Matt" He says with smile.

"Will do Matt" She says going back to the bed and reading her book. Jason chuckles looking at them and claps his hand getting Matt's attention, "So what were you going to say Matt". He looks at him "I wanted to ask what you have been up to".

[1h30mins later..........I got bored and decided to use a time skip]

Matt and Jason are sitting by the window and have been talking about talking random stuff for the last hour and thirty minutes. There is a knock again at the door.

Felicia gets up not really doing anything since she finished reading her book about ten minutes ago and opens the door. A woman with black hair and blue eyes is seen standing on the other side of the door. "Hi" she says smiling down at Felicia, "Hi" she says back with deadpan look.

"I'm looking for Matt?" She says still smiling at Felicia, Felicia just looks her up and down, "Hey Matt, someone's looking for you" she says still looking at the woman with a deadpan look on her face. After a few seconds of an awkward stare down she steps out of the way just as Matt comes to the door.

"Hi Matt" the woman says looking at the him with a smile. He looks surprised to hear her "Elektra what are you doing here?" he asks confused. Elektra just looks at him slightly annoyed "I have been waiting for you, for the past hour". Matt sheepishly scratches the back of his head "Sorry I forgot".

He turns his head back at where Jason is still sitting by the window with an apologetic look "Sorry but I guess our time is up Jason". Jason just waves him off and says "Don't worry, you can always come visit another time". He nods his head and waves goodbye to Jason and Felicia and leaves with Elektra.

Felicia goes back to the bed and lies down on her back without saying anything. Jason looks at her and gets from his place at the window and moves to the bed and lies down next to her.

[ HELLS KITCHEN - 06 July 2008 - 01:01 Am]

Red Hood blocks a kick to his side with his knee and counters with a side kick to his ribs, then to shoulder and final kick to side of the head, knocking the guy out.

After the guy falls to the ground face first, he looks around the room at the other conscious men in different parts of the room. He turns to the group of girls huddled together in a corner "Hey it's okay, your safe now". He says in to the girls and turns to leave out the window.

"Wait!!" One girl calls out, he stops and looks to her wandering what she wants. The girl walks up to him and gives him a surprise hug "I'm Sorry" she says softly. He stands frozen not expecting the hug and pats the girl on the back softly "No pro-- wait did you say??".

Before he could pull back he feels a prick on his left arm and pushes the girl away hard, "What the fuck??" he looks at his left arm where he was injected with some substance. He looks up at the girl on the floor and takes out his gun, "What di--..".

Red Hood falls face first to the floor unconscious.

[Flash Back End]

[ MANHATTAN LOWER EAST SIDE - 10 July 2008 - 02:17 Am]

Red Hood just looks at the man not saying anything. The man looks him over with a grimace on his face "Jack sure fucked you up good" he says still not receiving a response back. He just sighs and looks to Jack "Why's he still got it his mask on??" he says confused.

Jack just shrugs and says "Won't come off, sir." The man looks back over to Red Hood and sighs once again and says "Let this be a warning to you and every other costumed freak out there". He turns around and walks off but stops and looks to Jack and hands him a gun "Rough him up some more and then kill him" he says with a smirk on his face and walks out of the basement.

Jack looks at Red Hood with vicious smirk and says "I guess it's just me and you again"

[1 Hour Later]

Red Hood's is still in the chair with a bloodied and bruised face, Jack stands in front of him with bloodied knuckles and looks over his handy work, nodding in satisfaction.

He takes out the gun he was given and looks at the defeated hero "any last words" he says. Red Hood with his head bowed mumbles softly. Jack ducks downs slightly to hear him better "Speak up". Red Hood looks up at him and says in a pained voice "the oldest trick in the book".

Jack looks confused and says "Wha--..". Red Hood lunges forward at him and grabs his right arm and hits the gun out of his hand, and elbows him in the face twice. Jack stumbles back from the unexpected blows holding on to his face.

Red Hood slowing gets up from the chair with a pained groan and a wince, "That's not good" he mumbles to himself. He looks to Jack who recovered with his nose bleeding but looks unbothered by it. Jack licks his blood and looks at him smiling wickedly "Finally you fight back".

Red Hood just looks at him not saying anything, Jack angry at not getting a response does a push kick. Red Hood just moves slightly to the side and grabs his right leg and kicks out his left foot, while turning with his right leg making fall him on his face with legs to his direction. He twist his ankle hard breaking it.

"FUUUUuuck" Jack screams in pain grabbing on to his broken ankle while on the ground. Red Hood gets up again holding on to his side with a pained grunt and says "I'm sure Curt Ankle would be proud of that move",he says looking at Jack lying on the ground. Jack glares at him and gets up standing on one leg.

Red Hood looks at him impressed and slowly claps his hands, Jack infuriated at being mocked throws a right hook. Red Hood ducks under the punch and grabs his left leg and wraps his legs around it and pushes him down from behind with his legs.

Jacks fall face first to the ground again, but this time stops his fall with his hands and tries to push himself up but is too late as Red Hood breaks his left ankle too.

"SHHHiiiit" Jack screams again in pain at his other broken ankle. Red Hood just gets up and looks at him writhing on the ground. He walks a few paces to the left and picks up the gun and shoots Jack in the back of the head.

He tosses the gun away and rolls his shoulders and stretches his back, all while groaning in pain. After done with loosening up his muscles to some degree, he walks to the stairs leading to the exit of the basement, getting ready for a fight.

Just as he exits the basement, he turns and looks down the hall seeing blood on the walls and dead bodies strewn about. He sees Black Cat in the middle of it all sitting on a guys back and slashing his throat with her claws.

Black Cat looks up from killing the last of this worthless bastards and sees Red Hood standing by the door at the end of the hall. She slowly gets up and walks to him and gives him a tight hug.

"You fucking idiot, I thought I lost you" she says in to his chest hugging him tighter, he just groans in pain but hugs her back just as hard. "Sorry I scared you like that." he says rubbing her back.

She pulls back and looks at his bleeding forehead and bruised face, the parts not covered by the mask. She looks down at his bruised chest, covered with dried blood.

"Come on lets get out of here before the cops come" He says hugging her one last time and grabbing her hand leading her out the buildling.

[ QUEENS - 10 July 2008 - 4:30 Am]

Jason is sitting on the couch that was added to the right corner of Felicia's Hideout, getting bandaged by her, after taking a shower and getting his wounds cleaned by her.

"And done" She says tying up the last bandage and starts packing away the first aid kit and putting it aside. She sits down beside him on the couch and leans against his shoulder.

"You okay?" he asks looking at her concerned, she scoffs without looking at him. "Of course, you would worry about me, when your the one that's hurt." He just shrugs and says "Well I did see you unalive someo--.." She cuts him off looking at him with a quirked brow "Really??unalive". He just shrugs again smiling at her, "Why not."

"I'm fine it's not like that was the first time I ki--,unalived someone." she says with a shrug hugging him from the side. They sit in silence neither saying anything.

"I thought you were dea-d-d" she says with a small crack of her voice at the end.

"I'm Sorry"

"I spent the last four days turning Hells Kitchen inside out looking for you" she says looking up at him with tears started to leak out of her eyes.

"I'm Sorry"

"Then I hear from Lola that she heard something about the SteelGrave Gang protecting some building over at Lower East Side Manhattan" she says caressing his cheek softly with her thumb.

"So I went there and just started killing everyone without even thinking" She says looking over down her hands and clenching and unclenching her fists.

"When I saw you at the end of the hallway I was so relieved and happy to see you were alive" she says hugging again.

"Next time you get in trouble you contact me, okay?" she looks up at him with a glare daring him to challenge her.

"I'll try" he says looking at her with small smile.

she nods her and goes back to hugging him.

They sit again in silence

"You were really badass by the way"

"Yeah??"

"Yeah, like how you just slashed his throat and had this very sexy snarl on your face"

"Your an idiot"

"I'm your idiot"

"Yes you are"

"You finally added the claws to your suit"

"I made them 10 days ago"

"Yeah?"

"Yeah"

"They looked really cool"

"Thanks"

"I'm really horny right now"
