This is a historically based story that grasps your attention from the very beginning. The pace is decent and the author has taken time to build the characters and the world background. I would have loved it if our history lessons were also as good and entertaining as this story. A few grammatical errors but it doesn't impact the story, especially since the author's native language isn't English. Overall it's a good work...

First book about Ejun and second book is about King Goujian. The title and cover of this book is somehow not too appealing. But I guess that is why they say : Don't judge the book by its cover. This story is suitable for guys - not too details in the romance part; and focus more on the historical part. I recommend this book to those who love historical fiction.

Intriguing story we've got here. This book tells some history in a way that you will never be bored, hahaha. So In a way, this book could be treated as an Edutainment, hahahaha. Anyways, the romance in here is not really cringe and It's easy to dive in even if you're not really a fan of romance. Keep up the good work

A very interesting book. So far I could only see female leads, although this book doesn't really specify it's a FL novel. The characters building in book 2 is really awesome. I see character growth. Hope to see part-3 soon!

The first book is a bit fast pace, while the second book is more details. I love the character development of this Ying. No outstanding male lead so far. And apparently the author does not want to elaborate romance in this novel! Which is a plus point for some people :D

I am not an English native speaker, therefore I have no comment on the writing quality (grammar, etc.) but as long as I can understand, I have no problem with it. The story development, character design, and world background are awesome. I could tell the author is doing serious research on his/her writing. I hope the author will elaborate more on the male characters. There are too many female leads anyway...I want to see more male leads instead of female leads.

The second book is really engrossing with the perfect balance between the historical and the fiction part. The pace is also decent and not too draggy. I am bored with too many submissive FC with Cinderella Complex. This novel provides a Wonder Woman type of FC. Something kinda fresh for me here.

Unusual, but interesting stories. I hope the author will continue to update this novel. The last chapter was a few months ago though. But I found out that this novel could be read separately, therefore I don't mind taking too long to finish book 3. So far the first two books are good enough for my personal liking.
