The members with any kind of firepower had gone ahead and he had to defend, Jiang Shaojun was good enough to divert some of these Frogs back to their group. To the astonishment of most Murkwater Frogs some of their own leaders made their way back to fighting stronger opponents instead of helping them defeat the Ice maga.

Song Xia retreated back to the ice after realising the others wouldn't retreat thanks to that sully bet. Even Zhong Yuan who claimed the bet was silly was secretly aiming to win, naturally they all excluded Cao Guang's kill count.

If it was before she was elected as the Captain for this group, Song Xia would have been happy to get some monster blood on her hands.

However her strength was improved in an unexpected way when Du Ling casted a spell on her this time.

Gao Xuan used the Earth Wave to keep them mobile in order to avoid minions while they were occasionally casting these spells to help Song Xia.

Jiang Shaojun's psychic magic was even more potent than his sister's. It was no wonder that the guy managed to gain the friendship of some Totems. His vibe was different with the Psychic magic. But it also slightly made his intentions transparent.

It was a popular theory among mages that Psychic mages showed what was in their heart more openly than others. Their magic was also more potent then.

The squad ahead were struggling a bit since Cao Guang's output was concentrated on the Commander and Song Xia pulled back to help the other four.

Zu Yuanjun finally unleashed his spell and dragged a few more Murkwater Frogs to their death and began preparing some defences with his secondary Earth.

Li Kai and Zhao Jing were the most stable output among the five of them as Zhao Jing could blast the Frogs with basic and intermediate spells of lightning or Ice.

Li Kai controlled his poison element to form area were even the most gutsiest Frogs wouldn't attack them. The poison element would take some time to work on monsters instead he used them as shields away from the monsters and waited for his wasps to take care of the beasts.

Guan Chen occasionally restrained a few Frogs for Zhao Jing with his Shadow Spikes, clearly completely forgetting about the bet.

For a bunch of factionalists they could fight well when threatened by a Commander.
