Chapter 115: Yep, this again (2)

Cao Guang focused himself in his spiritual world. The Nebulas of Space and Lightning were bright and energetic with their fourth tier energy.

The Nebula of Summoning was on a diff level with its Fifth tier energy and the brightest was undoubtedly the Fire Galaxy which towered over everything and was the largest source of his energy.

Cao Guang first saw a Golden Light shining in his Spiritual World and seven Star appearing with glimmer of joy and hope.

He had awakened the Light element and felt a good affinity with it.

Then came the moment he was waiting for as the next awakening had begun. To his delight he saw a Brown light emerge with seven stars following it.

The stars gave him a feeling of protection, nothing better than the arms of Earth to guard you.

He had awakened the Earth element as well.

When the awakening had ended Guo Liyu was a bit disoriented with what had just happened. He was sure that he felt the presence of both Light and Earth element appear on the young man.

He couldn't look into the man's spiritual world with his Divine sense, but at the moment of awakening magic was a bit uncontrollable and often gave off colours.

He was confused if he had mistaken the awakening of one element for the other and simply brushed it off.

"You got the Earth element you wanted, good pay up on your way out, I need to rest before the next awakening".

Cao Guang left the place in glee, having awakened to of his favourite elements. They were perfect for him. The light element could guide, purify and protect at the intermediate level and the Earth element could facilitate movement and defence.

Earth had the stronger defensive spell but without the control of a Super mage or a top notch Soul seed it was a bit restricted. The Light spell could on the other hand form an armour that would follow the mage giving them a mobile protection.

Now Cao Guang had to develop them to the intermediate level, with the Little Tora pendant's help and a push from the three step tower it shouldn't be all that hard.

He may have lost the title of rank one of the Lightning institute but he could easily get that back and use the privileges of that position or he could ask for Dean Xiao's help, but he preferred the first method to hide the fact that he became an Advanced mage.

He had joined the University two years ago, he still had ten months left till the end of his academic year, after which he could graduate as long as he became a peak Intermediate mage or stay and opt for graduating with excellence.

Cao Guang silently went back to the lightning institute and learned that Lin Mu had quit after two years as a teacher and a new lecturer had taken his place, apparently the guy was not a Super mage nor did he have Lin Mu's charisma. So the dogged unity of the class and many of his previous competitors had left.

Nanrong Xu and Gu Yan and others had graduated, apparently Yao Nan whom he knew well graduated as soon as he could to become a full time Hunter. As for the rest of team that challenged Imperial College that year was still here. He also heard Zhu Li had chosen the path of a researcher might leave for another university soon.

Cao Guang rejoined the Lightning institute this time as a senior and won back his rank as number with relative ease. However, his time and energy was occupied with bringing the two new elements to the level of their brothers.

By the end of September both Earth and Light Stardusts had become Star Nebulas. Cao Guang had already decided to focus on only the two elements till the end of the year before preparing another go at the Advanced level with Summoning, he just didn't have 100 million to waste every two weeks.

His expenses had also fallen since the resources he needed were a level below what was being given by the university. Still he needed to sell some Soul Essences he got occasionally to cover his daughter's snacks. A Commander level creature was hard to feed.

Thankfully Fenrir had his food source in his world and only needed something else as a reward, but he rarely summoned the wolf these days as he alone was enough for most Warriors and he was quite a bit away from facing a Commander on his own.
