Chapter 13 Chains of Fate

" Did you check on what I said?" Kai asked seriously. Zabuza scoffed " Yeah we checked it but we will still complete the mission." Kai was surprised " Don't you realize he intends to betray you?" Zabuza smirked "Complete the mission then kill him as a warning." Kai sighed "I will not help you beat the leaf village ninjas." Haku watched silently going along with Zabuza. " Then what should I kill you here?" Zabuza's voice became threatening. " No ill not inform the ninjas but I will not help you either." Kai left without another word. Zabuza changed his mind after the fight to get revenge for Haku maybe that would be a better choice ill use the angels prayer when they die to bring them back.

A few days later Kai was observing the bridge being built when Zabuza began his attack. True to his word Kai did not interfere and the fight continued with Sasuke opening the sharingan and Naruto using rhe nine tails chakra. When Kakashi used the chidori Haku jumped in to save Zabuza unlike the novel all that did was make it so both of them died. Kai moved quickly then using both of the angels prayers he brought, wondering how they would work in real life. His curiosity was awnsered when the angels prayers healed the wounds from the chidori and saved their lives. Zabuza looked at Kai in astonishment " We turned you down kid." "Thoight you might have changed your mind. " Kai replied. Before they could continue Gatou showed up with his cannon fodder mocking Zabuza and Haku before ordering his men to kill everyone. Zabuza and Haku attacked using their ninjutsu to cut through the thugs like they were made of paper missing a hooded individual near Gatou. As they approached the mystery person produced a saber stabbing Zabuza in the neck before slicing Stabbing Haku in the heart. Kai's eyebrows rose that was a new notification. then he shook it off as the mystery man walked forward. clearly intent on killing the konoha team.

Kai felt a rage like never before, a power radiated from his hand. he glanced down and a stone was impeded in his gauntlet on his left arm. He concentrated and the power erupted blinding everyone with its power.

As the light faded everyone was shocked. Kai stood there in a silver armor with red accents on his back where 6 wings shining orange with silver outlines. His headband had multiple eyes on it and covered his left eye. his feet looked like claws and the straightsword he had been carrying turned into an odd looking blade that resembled a fang. his left arm turned into a tube of some sort. The power he was radiating made the nine tales chakra from earlier feel like nothing. Kai slowly rose into the air flapping the wings slowly "You will die now" Kai said before attacking the figure.

The mystery figure threw off his cloak showing a young man with silver hair and a pair of wings made of light came out of his back. Dodging the silver haired youth said "A dragoon, there where not supposed to be your kind in this world. We will fight another time." The silver haired man then fled at high-speed away from the land of water.

Kai was furious the silver ahord man killed his potential allies and ran. Loyd he said his name was well they would meet again. Kai heard yelling and looked to see Gato trying to rally his remaining henchmen to attack. Kai instinctively raised his left arm a compartment opening near his shoulder. " Divine Dragon Ball" Kai uttered as a stream of rockets shot out blowing Gato and his men to smithereens and destroying the end of the bridge that they were standing on.

Kai landed on the ground, another flash of light and the strange looking armor disappeared. Kai's sight dimmed and he fell unconscious.
