Chapter 12

POV Kai

( Ineed to get some items from the shop) Kai thought as he selected the shop during the seven years he had unlocked the basic attack items and support items such as pandemonium that would cause several debuffs to a target. He also accumulated 1500G with his daily training. Looking over the menu he bought 2 Rave Twisters 2 Thunderbolts and 2 Fatal Blizzards as well as 2 Angel's prayers and a Healing breeze.

(That should be enough) Kai thought. He knew Haku and Zabuza were recovering in the woods somewhere but had no idea where. Wandering the woods he saw Haku gathering flowers. Kai approached and began to talk to Haku.....

POV Haku

I was gathering flowers while Zabuza recovers. I am a weapon and I need to be useful but I have no idea what to do to help until he is back on his feet. I had spoken to one of those leaf ninjas a blond haired boy seemed nice but as a weapon I can't show mercy. "Hello again." a voice called out from behind me

I turned and saw the other one the one who blocked Zabuza's sword and fought him to a standstill. even if it was a clone it was impressive. his next words made me freeze and panic a little. "How is your partner?"

POV Kai

I could see the panic set in Haku was on the defensive and preparing a ninjutsu to silence me. " You know Gato is going to betray you right?" I asked causing him to stop. "What?" Haku asked. " I hate like him" Kai explained " to make a deal is to follow through with it. Be sure of the ones you follow. Don't take my word for it and look into it yourself." With that Kai left to find a spot to continue his training.

POV Haku

Why would he warn me? Haku thought before going to talk to Zabuza about this. Zabuza was furious " While I'm laid up go look into this maybe the kid is full of shit but maybe not." Haku nodded before leaving to check things out. It did not take half a day to confirm all that Kai told them. Haku and Zabuza sat in silence that night figuring whether they should threaten Gato or just kill him. There was a knock at their cabins door. Haku opened the door and there was Kai.
