Class 1-A and Quirk Assessment.

[Kaito POV]

It was the first day of school and I went early in case any reporters were at the entry, surprise, surprise there were reporters there regardless of the time, as if they were hunters patiently waiting for their prey to appear and then lunge at them to devour them completely.

Fortunately, Ectoplasm-sensei came with an eviction notice to shoo them away, though it would only work for the first day and not tomorrow but it would be good for the first years to not feel overwhelmed so yeah.

After everyone left, I came out from behind a building and rushed to the school gates to prevent any other reporter to ambush me which I may add there were indeed more reporters hidden but the Hunting Dog Hero: Hound Dog came by and took them out from their hiding places.

I went to class 1-A and took the third-row desk near the window, a perfect place to nap with the gentle sun rays at your face when you want to ignore class, a classic.

I wanted to give a cool vibe as an 1st impression but after 5 minutes I said "screw it" and went to sleep.

*BOOM*

I woke up when gunpowder 4 brains came in with a literal explosion.

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE SHITTY SWORDSMAN!?" said Bakugo alarming everyone.

"Well Bakugo since this is obviously not a classroom, I came here to buy a cake, but the line keeps getting larger and larger" I replied as sarcastically as I could.

"FUCK YOU, I MEANT HOW DID YOU PASSED DESPITE BEING QURKLESS!".

After saying that the students (only Midoriya and Uraraka were missing and it appears that I replaced Koda) had shocked expression in their faces asking themselves how I passed while being quirkess.

"of course, by being strong, smart and in general better than you".

"YOU FUCKER!" Bakugo wanted to lunge at me but then I dashed and unsheathed my sword aiming at his throat stopping it to not cut him.

"Hey, do me a favor and shut up will ya, don't start a battle you cannot win, we have fought ever since kinder so you are aware of my strength so if you know what's best for you don't mess with me" I said coldly while everyone was in awe.

Bakugo was frozen he couldn't deny anything so I sheathed my sword and went back to my desk, a few seconds later Midoriya and Uraraka came, after staring at Uraraka's school uniform Midoriya and the rest went back to their seats when a person in a yellow sleeping bag came rolling.

"All right change into your sports uniforms and I'll see you at the field" said the man in the bag who was our teacher Shota Aizawa also known as the hero Eraserhead.

[Third Person POV]

Everyone from class 1-A was at the field with Aizawa.

"A quirk assessment test? What about the entrance ceremony? The orientation?" Asked Uraraka.

"If you're going to become a hero you don't have time for such leisurely events" said Aizawa. "UA's selling point is how unrestricted its school traditions are, that's also how the teachers run their classes."

"You've been taking standardized tests most of your lives. But you never got to use your Quirks in physical exams before. The country's still trying to pretend we're all created equal by not letting those with the most power excel. It's not rational." Aizawa monologued.

"Kobayashi Kaito, you are an exception, despite not having a quirk you managed to achieve something almost impossible in the history of UA, achieving a perfect score in both written and practical tests" once Aizawa said that everyone was shocked, Bakugo was pissed and Midoriya had stars on his eyes.

"However, from this point onwards you are going to be against your classmates that DO have quirks, they'll try to surpass you in everything they can so don't believe that you'll have everything going your way, understood?" Aizawa asked Kaito.

*SNORE*

Everyone looked at Kaito who had a snot bubble in his nose and was sleeping peacefully.

Midoriya got near Kaito and yelled "Tochan it's lunch time!"

The snot bubble exploded and Kaito woke up.

"Already? Ok good class sensei I'll see ya around" Kaito said walking in the direction of the cafeteria but Aizawa catch him with his scarf.

"Since when were you asleep?" asked Aizawa.

"Since we got here" Kaito said picking his nose and pulling out a booger, Luffy style.

"*SIGH* Kobayashi, you managed to get the most points on the entrance exam. What was your farthest distance throw with a softball when you were in Junior High?" asked Aizawa rubbing his temples.

"Dunno" Kaito said with a deadpan expression.

"Don't you have photographic memory? How can you not know?"

"Well photographic memory is useless if you never read the results in the first place, I know that I ace them though"

"Right, since you don't have a quirk, I read that you use swords and other gadgets to overcome your weaknesses, right? Throw this ball however you like, anything goes, just stay in the circle. Go on. You're wasting our time." Said Aizawa.

"All right I am awake now" Kaito went towards the circle and took out Nezuko from his pocket.

'Will this be, ok?' Aizawa thought before remembering something.

(Flashback days ago)

"So, about this student, what should we do about him?" principal Nezu asked.

"Well, he did attend the exam with the restrictions that we gave him, and still surpassed many participants so wouldn't it make sense to put him in class 1-A?" Said Present Mic.

"Yeah, but he is also quirkless what should we do about that?" Vlad King asked.

"Are you being a quirkist just because of that?" asked Midnight.

"N-no of course no its just that I'm worried about possible bullying he may be subjected, how about we try to hide it?"

"Unfortunately, Kobayashi-kun seems to be proud that he was born quirkless so he probably will admit it regardless of what we tell him" Nezu said.

"What do you think Aizawa, he will be your student after all" Nezu asked Aizawa who was reading Kaito's report.

"I technically am a quirkless hero, my quirk doesn't give me that much of either offensive or defensive options so I rely on techniques just as this kid does, I'll test him but if he disappoints me, I'll expel him, hope everyone can cope with that." Aizawa said in a cold tone and the teachers nod.

(Back to the present)

Kaito puts Nezuko on his waist, and puts his hand inside, everyone was asking why would he do that but then they saw him pull out a massive black two-handed sword (Demon-Slayer Sword from Black Clover).

Kaito threw the ball upwards and then made a huge jump reaching the ball, while mid air he twists his body in a position like a batter.

"Total Concentration: Dark Breathing First form: Demon-Slayer: Rock Smash!" Kaito smashes the ball and throws it to the horizon, then when he is about to fall, he stores Demon-Slayer and takes out Zangetsu, he spins it like a helicopter and eases his fall and gets back to the circle.

He then looks at his classmates and asks "What's the matter I never left the circle" Kaito asks worried.

"Oh, whoa." Was the only thing most of them said.

"All of you need to know your maximum capabilities. It's the most rational way of figuring out your potential as a pro hero."

Everyone gasps

"Whoa, 1,987 meters, are you kidding me?" said Kaminari.

"I wanna go! That looks like fun!" said Mina.

"This is what I'm talkin' about, usin' our Quirks as much as we want!" Kirishima.

"So, this looks fun, huh?" Aizawa said changing the mood of the class.

"You have three years here to become a hero. You think it's all gonna be games and play time? Idiots. Today you'll compete in eight physical tests to gauge your potential. Whoever comes in last has none, and will be expelled immediately." Aizawa said activating his quirk taking a more menacing appearance.

'Immediate expulsion? Eight tests? Oh, crap. Not good.' Thought Midoriya. 'I can only use One for All at either zero or 100 percent right now. I don't have any control yet. A huge test on the first day of school? What the crap am I gonna do?'

"You can't send one of us home! I mean, we just got here! Even if it wasn't the first day, that isn't fair!" complained some students.

"Oh, and you think natural disasters are? Or power‐hungry villains? Hm? Or catastrophic accidents that wipe out whole cities? No, the world is full of unfairness." Said Aizawa.

The students remained silent.

"It's a hero's job to try to combat that unfairness. If you wanna be a pro, you're gonna have to push yourself to the brink. For the next three years, UA will throw one terrible hardship after another at you. So, go beyond. Plus Ultra‐style. Show me it's no mistake that you're here." Aizawa finished.

"I don't approve of this kind of hazing, but UA's the top hero program. I have no choice." Said Iida adjusting his glasses.

"Time to blow these nerds away." Bakugo.

"Now then. We're just wasting time by talking. Let the games begin." Said Aizawa blowing a whistle.

(To skip everything, short answer Kaito remained top except for the softball throwing because Uraraka is a ∞ cheater, so instead here will be class 1-A quirk list, Present Mic style).

Yuga Aoyama, Quirk: Navel Laser, Navel Laser gives the user the ability to fire sparkly twinkling laser beams from their navel. Those beams specifically come from Yuga's bellybutton. They can range from short to long-ranged, with strong enough recoil to propel the user through the air at a high speed.

Mina Ashido, Quirk: Acid, Acid allows the user to create corrosive liquid from their skin, with it being naturally resistant to the acid they produce. This Quirk alters Mina's skin pigment, resulting in it having a purple-pink coloration, but in spite of that, her acid itself seems to be gray.

Tsuyu Asui, Quirk: Frog, Frog is the summation of Tsuyu's many frog-related abilities. This includes frog-like anatomy, great leg strength, wall clinging, a powerful extending tongue, camouflaging, fast swimming, and secreting mucus with different effects like paralysis and hiding scent.

Tenya Iida, Quirk: Engine, Engine grants the user engine-like protrusions somewhere on their bodies that allow them to move at extraordinary speeds. Thanks to Engine, Tenya and Tensei can both dash through long distances in a short amount of time.

Ochaco Uraraka, Quirk: Zero Gravity, Zero Gravity allows the user to remove the effects of gravity from solid things upon touching them with the pads on their fingertips. The targets lose their gravitational pull the moment Ochaco makes contact with them, effectively making them weightless. Through Zero Gravity, Ochaco can make anything solid float in mid-air as long as they are within the weight limit of her Quirk, which is around three tons.

Mashirao Ojiro Quirk: Tail, Tail grants the user a prehensile appendage that extends from their lower posterior. Mashirao's tail is very bulky, being longer and wider than any of his regular human limbs. Its tip contains a tuft of blonde hair, reflecting Mashirao's normal hair color.

Denki Kaminari, Quirk: Electrification, Electrification gives the user the ability to charge in electricity and emit it out of their body as a sort of protective aura that electrocutes anyone through contact. With his Quirk activated, Denki gains a defense mechanism that shocks those who touch him, leaving them slightly paralyzed. If he emits enough electricity, it automatically discharges in all directions, shocking anyone close to him, regardless of contact.

Eijiro Kirishima, Quirk: Hardening, Hardening gives the user the power to harden any part of their body. The Quirk protects them from most physical threats. Once activated, Eijiro becomes capable of enduring what would be otherwise lethal hazards, like tons of falling metal and multiple explosions, without leaving a scratch. Even bullets are unable to pierce his skin.

Kobayashi Kaito, Quirkless, despite not having a quirk he possesses a body with extraordinary strength and reflexes, he uses various weapons to defeat his enemies and gadgets to save civilians.

Rikido Sato, Quirk: Sugar Rush, Sugar Rush allows the user to multiply their strength five-fold for three minutes for every ten grams of sugar they ingest. Rikido must consume the required sugar quantities for his Quirk to be activated in the first place.

Mezo Shoji, Quirk: Dupli-Arms, Dupli-Arms grants the user a set of arm-like tentacles adjacent to their arms that can transform into duplicates of their other body parts. Mezo is able to reproduce any of his body parts, including ears, eyes, mouths, hands and so on, with said parts taking form through pods located at the tip of each of his tentacles.

Kyoka Jiro, Quirk: Earphone Jack, Earphone Jack grants its users long, controllable earlobes that work like headphone cables. Kyoka's earlobes are shaped like jacks at their ends, allowing her to plug them into a variety of objects. Those earlobes can further channel the vibrations of Kyoka's own heartbeats, dealing internal damage to said objects.

Hanta Sero, Quirk: Tape, Tape allows the user to eject adhesive tape from openings located on both of their elbows. Hanta's elbows look and function like tape dispensers, from where he can fire lengths of tape that stick to anything he aims at. The amount of tape Hanta is able to generate in a single instance isn't unlimited, but it's still plentiful enough for him to successfully utilize for various offensive, defensive and movement purposes, making his Quirk surprisingly versatile.

Fumikage Tokoyami, Quirk: Dark Shadow, Dark Shadow grants the user a shadowy, monster-like being from within his body that they can materialize and de-materialize at will. Dark Shadow effectively acts like Fumikage's personal guardian, functioning as a living appendage that follows all of its master's commands. It is sentient, capable of speech, and loyally protects its host, regardless of the state it finds itself in.

Shoto Todoroki, Quirk: Half-Cold Half-Hot (Although no one in class knows about the Fire side, except for Aizawa and Kaito), Half-Cold Half-Hot allows the user to generate ice, frost, and cold from the right side of their body, and fire, flames, and heat from the left. However, the user is unable to manipulate either element that comes from an external source; they can only create them from their body.

Toru Hagakure, Quirk: Invisibility, invisibility grants the user a completely invisible body. Because of Invisibility, none of Toru's physical features can be observed through the naked eye, making it hard to detect her presence or read her emotions unless she announces them herself. While unexplained, this Quirk also involves a degree of light manipulation, giving Toru the ability to refract light from her invisible body.

Katsuki Bakugo, Quirk: Explosion, Explosion allows the user to excrete nitroglycerin-like sweat from their palms and ignite it at will to create explosions of various sizes. Through either one of his palms, Katsuki creates fiery shock waves that are highly powerful and destructive, often burning and/or shattering whatever they hit, with Katsuki himself being immune to them, save for some minor damage from the recoil.

Izuku Midoriya, Quirk: One for All (no one knows the name of his quirk except some UA staff and Kaito), One for All also allows the user to stockpile an enormous amount of raw power, allowing them to significantly enhance all of their physical abilities to a superhuman level. This results in unbelievable levels of strength, speed, agility, and durability. The rest will come later on *WINK* *WINK*.

Minoru Mineta, Quirk: Pop Off, Pop Off allows the user to produce sticky spheres from their head that they can pluck painlessly. Once Minoru removes one of his spheres, a new one will grow in its place almost instantly. The spheres will adhere to any surface they come into contact with, except for Minoru himself. Water does not seem to affect the adhesion capabilities of the spheres.

Momo Yaoyorozu, Quirk: Creation, Creation allows the user to materialize different objects, such as weapons and tools, from any part of their body. With the exception of living beings such as humans and animals, Momo can create pretty much whatever she wants, no matter how complex or advanced its structure may be. She only requires to understand the atomic configuration of said object in order to reproduce it: she first imagines the necessary parts, followed by the materials, then the assembling process and, finally, the coating.

The students went back to the soft-ball and it was Midoriya's turn, just when he was about to use OFA to throw the ball Aizawa activated his quirk and Midoriya threw a powerless ball.

"Were you planning to break your bones again? Counting on someone else to save your useless body?" Asked Aizawa in an angry tone.

"No! That's not what I was trying to do!" Midoriya tried to explain.

"No matter what your intentions are, you would be nothing more than a liability in battle." Aizawa said with a deadpan expression, looking down on Midoriya.

"You have the same reckless passion as another overzealous hero I know. One who saved 1,000 people by himself and became a legend. But even with that drive, you're worthless if you can only throw a single punch before breaking down. Even Kaito with no quirk surpasses you in technique and overall strength so, sorry, Midoriya. With your power, there's no way you can become a hero." Aizawa said.

Every student was saddened by what that meant to the greenette, he would get expelled. Suddenly Kaito yelled.

"What are you doing Midoriya!? You've had the dream of becoming a hero since forever, even though you used to not have a quirk before you manifested it now, you have no excuses to say that you can't become a hero, if breaking your arm is too much then break just your finger!" Kaito yelled at Midoriya.

'Kaito-kun, if All Might had found you that day then you would've received OFA but despite that you overcame the entrance exam better than I did even though I have a quirk, it seems I am a de…' Midoriya's train of thought got interrupted by Kaito.

"Don't compare with others! I chose this path and I'm proud of walking it, you have your own path, run walk or crawl I don't care but do it at your own pace! Show me your dream of becoming the #1 hero."

'Yes, I can't let everyone down, if my arm cannot endure my strength then I'll use just my finger'

"Mr. Aizawa was right about what he said. If I can't control my Quirk, there's no way I'll ever become a hero. I'll have to work way harder than everyone else here if I wanna succeed. Even if I have a lot to learn, I'll focus on what I can do right now."

Midoriya was throwing the ball and put OFA 100% in his index finger blasting the ball away and crushing his finger in the process.

"SMASH!"

The ball was flying through the air and all the students were shocked.

"Aizawa-sensei, I'm still standing" Midoriya said proudly.

(After the Assessment practice)

"All right these are the results don't blame anyone for your performance"

Midoriya felt a big relief after seeing he was not last, but was also sad for his classmate.

"Hagakure Toru, you are last in the overall of the class, you know what this means right? You will be expelled" Aizawa said with an evil grin.

Hagakure was shaking but then Aizawa said "that's what I would say but this test never intended to expel anyone, I just wanted to make sure all of you gave it your all, in other words no one is getting expelled, now go back to class." Aizawa said with a deadpan expression

"EEHHHHH!!??" Yelled surprised almost all of the class.

"HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!" Kaito laughed like a maniac.

"You knew about this Tochan!?" Midoriya asked.

"First: call me Kaito, Tochan is not that great of nickname, second: of course I knew, this was too obvious, he wanted to test the very limit of your quirks so what better way than using this excuse to push us to the limits." Kaito answered wiping his tears. Momo nods slowly.

"All right now shut up and go to your next class!" Aizawa said in his menacing tone.

"YES SENSEI!" Said everyone.

'You did not disappoint me Kobayashi, keep surprising me in the future will ya?' thought Aizawa before going to the teacher's office to take a nap.
