Snow fell lightly as the grey cloud pass over the sky but in a small forest to the east, there was a clearing that had various items in it but in the clearing, there was two boys who were wearing fur coats that had snow slightly on the, they were seemingly getting ready to go somewhere.

"Hi Asta you got everything you need? I won't be turning back if you leave anything"

"I know let me just check one more time. Bow check, Arrows check, Dagger check, Wooden sword check I think I have everything"

"What about your food supply if you don't have yours, I will not be sharing mine"

"OH, right I almost forgot about that"

*sigh* "look in the hut there should be some food supply on the table hurry up and get it"

As Yuno told Asta to get the food that was inside the hut Asta nodded and went inside the hut. It has been a 2 month since Yuno started training using negative mana in his spells, it was now in the mid of November, Yuno's and Asta's 'alleged' birthdays has passed and winter was now here. As Yuno waited for Asta he exhaled into his hand, steam like breath escaped his mouth.

"It's been two whole months since I started training to use negative, in those two month I have not been hunting and crusade for new land had been on pause but it was worth it. After two whole months of training, I can say I am able to use two to three times as much negative mana when I first used it. I was even able to integrate it with my [Reinforcement Magic] and Boi was it powerful but there are still side effects."

Finished packing his bag with all his equipment's in it he took up his birthday present that was leaning on the wall. What might be the birthday present you ask, will for an aspiring magic knight what better present other than a broom. Taking the broom up then throwing it infront of him and watched as it fell, but unlike the other pathetic brooms that would fall due to gravity it started to float. Yes, the birthday present he got at his 10th birthday was a magic broom [but let's be honest it just a normal broom that is able to make mana flow through it allow it to fly nothing amazing]. Continue speaking to himself, Yuno got on the floating broom.

"For integrating negative mana with [Reinforcement Magic] the side effects would vary, sometimes I would feel exhausted or completely fine and on other times my body would be engulfed with large amount of pain. I guess the strain of negative mana is too much for my body right now but with more training my body will become accustom to it".

As Yuno finished speaking to himself Asta rushed out the hut with his bag on his back and a grin on his face

"You got everything?"

"Yeah, I made sur, I even double checked it"

"Good now hop on "

Lowering his broom to meet Asta waist, Yuno watched as Asta jumped on to the broom.

"Hold on tight, I don't want you to fall off when I am flying so high"

"Alright just fly slow"

Looking down at Asta with a smile Yuno did not say a word, but in the next second, they blasted off up into the sky going so high that they could now see the church and the entire village.

"ARE YOU TRYING TO KILL ME?"

"HAHAHA don't worry even if you fall, I can still catch you using my [Wind Magic]

"*sigh* let's just go"

"Alright then"

Saying this Yuno began to fly south west from his base [A/N: south west from his base is south of the village]

As time pass the reached their destination which was a place not so close to the boarder of the commoner and forsaken realms. Slowly coming down from the sky they landed in a clear field filled with snow. Jumping down from the broom and landing in the snow Asta looked around the plain followed by Yuno.

"Hi Yuno what are we even doing out here I though you said, you were going to take a break so I asked if you wanted to go camping"

"This is where we are going to set up camp, it is a clear field so if any creature tries to attack us in the night, we will see it coming and also I heard that there is a hot spring not too far from here"

"Wait there is hot spring nearby"

"Yeah, I heard it from Mr Ford when to get our supplies we will go there later once we finish setting up camp"

"Alright then let's hurry up"

Being excited Asta unpacked his quickly, taking out his tent and other supplies. Putting his broom to the side Yuno also began to unpack his bag.

'Camping huh no normal adult would let a two, 10-year-olds camp alone and honestly I did not want to but I have been working so hard as of later so I think I deserve it and also after I heard that there is a hot spring near here, I had to come. I always loved Japanese culture but due to the collage and having little money I never went to Japan but before I died, I had enough money and since I just graduated from college, I could go I was excited and some of my friends were also coming along but I had to die off' *sigh*

'But today I can cross off one of my wishes on my "thing to do before dying bucket list" but I guess it now "things to do after dying bucket list" anyways father Orsi also allowed us to go probably because he knows I am good at hunting and that there is a village name Rayaka nearby to where we are camping so that if we are ever in danger, I could fly us out of here and go to the village. Speaking of which father Orsi asked me to hand in this letter to the chief of Rayaka' [A/N: should i give you guys a map of the clover kingdom?]

"Asta, you can unpack the rest and make the tent without me, right?"

"Yeah"

"Good, I am going to Rayaka to deliver this letter father Orsi gave me to the chief I will be back in a bit. DON'T GO TO THE HOTSPRINGS WITHOUT ME WHEN I AM GONE"

Levitating his broom once more Yuno got on and just like before he blasting into the sky leaving a snowless ground beneath him

"Show off"

Speaking to himself Asta continue to unpack his and now Yuno's bags while Yuno flew to the east of their location

[A/N: I have realised that the mc has only been training and training he need a break it also seems I am rushing thing to give the mc more power personal I don't like that this is my first fanfic I want it to be great not too fast pace or slow pace just moderate but don't worry guys in it will end next chapter or the one after so have a great week srry for the short chapter expect a long one next week]
