War Preparation
The news about the Sand declaring war soon spread across Konoha, even the villagers knew that war was coming.In the Hokage's office, the 3rd was asking Jiraya about the new Kazekage. But Jiraya didn't know much about him. He only had what he heard when he was on his mission in the Sand village. Normally, a Kage should be one with experience on the battlefield, or one who is a prodigy and very famous in his village. But the new Kazekage was someone that Konoha had no information about before he took over.
"Hokage Sama, this is intelligence from the battlefield in the Sand country!" An Anbu came in and delivered a scroll to the 3rd. He opened it quickly. He sent out some of the best Anbu to get this information as soon as possible. The 4th Kazekage is a male, of unknown age, and a Magnet Release Blood Limit skill user. His way of fighting is unknown. The prisoner of the Sand that we arrested said that he was able to beat Shukaku on his own in the desert."
The last sentence of the scroll made the 3rd's face gloomy. Suppressing Shukaku, the one tailed beast in the desert is a great feat. This man is not one you would want to underestimate. "Here, you can read it as well!" The 3rd handed over the scroll to Jiraya. After reading through it, his face showed the same expression as his Sensei. "Sarutobi Sensei, immediately send out the troops! This guy is too dangerous for Sakumo san to fight alone!"he said. "You're right. This new Kazekage sounds really powerful. Not to mention that they still have Chiyo, that old woman is Kage tier. This should be too troublesome for Sakumo to deal with on his own." The 3rd understood how serious this matter was. He was in a hurry to send out the troops. "Anbu, call Ryu Senju in!" The 3rd told the Anbu who delivered the scroll.
A few moments later, Anbu arrived at the Senju compound and asked for me to visit the Hokage. I then went to the Hokage's office and knocked the door. Hiruzen said "Come in". And I entered. As soon as I entered, He passed to me a scroll and I read its contents. Hiruzen after speaking yesterday had confidence in my skill and didn't mind my age. He then asked "What do you think?" I smiled and passed back the scroll then said "He's a strong one, but Uncle Jiraya can beat him by using sage mode and uncle Sakumo can take care of that lady Chiyo".
Jiraya narrowed his brows and asked "How can you be so sure Ryu?" I laughed and asked "So Uncle Jiraya, Is this all the information you collected about the Kazekage?" Jiraya nodded and I spoke "The name of the Kazekage is Rasa. He is the fourth Kazekage. He has the ability to use gold dust. He has quelled the frequent rampages of Shukaku the sand spirit by manipulating gold in the earth and covering Shukaku with gold and sealing it inside so that It cannot regenerate using the sand in the desert". Hiruzen and Jiraya both surprised asked together "How do you know all this?" I smiled and said Yesterday after we spoke, I made several shadow clone and as I had marked Uncle Sakumo already with flying thunder god seal, I teleported them directly to him and infiltrated the sand village and gathered information".
Both Jiraya and Hiruzen had a proud look on their faces and said "You are amazing. I never thought these things was possible." I nodded and said "Not just that, they also have a scorch style user named Pakura, who is currently being sent to Iwa border and is a low Kage level ninja with a Kekke Venkaiah ability. They will call her back if things doesn't go well in the battle". Hearing this Hiruzen asked "What do you suggest we do then Ryu? You got such valuable info on the enemy so you are very much qualified to attend the war meetings as you requested." I nodded and said "Just send uncle Jiraya to fight against the Kazekage. If that Pakura comes back, I'll deal with her. I can call mother anytime to help as well and she has accepted to help if Pakura shows up. We formulated the plan after I collected the info on sand yesterday".
They both nodded and Hiruzen said "Dine then prepare yourself "Ryu and Jiraya. Leave once you have prepared." I nodded and said "Uncle Jiraya, Using the flying thunder god, we can get there in an instant. So no need to rush. Get ready and we'll go after lunch." Jiraya also nodded and said "To think the jutsu you and Minato were working on was this useful. It'll be easy to transport troops from one battlefield to another and we will have an advantage". Hearing him, I raised my hand and said "hold your horses uncle Jiraya. One long distance teleportation requires a Kage level ninja and can only take limited people. If you had taken your training seriously instead of peeping in hot springs, you would have become the strongest ninja in the world. You are not even a perfect sage. First go back to Mt.Myoboku and train more." Jiraya astonished asked "How do you know I'm not a perfect sage?" I replied casually "Because I have a sage body like grandfather Hashirama". Then I brought my palms together and said "Senpou" Suddenly markings appeared on my face and I entered sage mode and started gathering natural energy". Jiraya yelled "Instant sage mode" and nearly fainted of shock. Same can be said about Hiruzen.
