Chapter 9: Piece of Trash?

"Xiao Che, Congratulation on your wedding."

Yun Che snapped from his daze. He was looking at the source of the trash talk, and he smiled. The opportunity he waits for is here.

"Well, now, thank you! I seemed to draw a winning lottery. Glad the kid decided to show up." He mocked, knowing the man in front of him was Xiao Yulong alongside his accomplice, Xiao Yang.

"Xiao Che, you seemed to be full of yourself. You became the talk of the city. The cripple who married the phoenix of our city. It makes me wonder, what qualifies you to marry Xia Qingyue?" Xiao Yulong spoke with a hint of venom as he stepped on the stage before him. The one schemed to murder him.

"Dude, I am married to her. Qualifications? Doesn't it matter anymore?" Yun Che spoke with a flat look.

Slamming his hand on the table, Xiao Yulong pointed to his face. "You seemed didn't the position you're in, trash." Everyone from the manor stops immediately to see the commotion. What is interesting is that no elder or servant tries to stop him. It is like the whole city planned this. Every person who is jealous of Yun Che smirks when hearing this.

"Xiao Che, I admit I was jealous of you for marrying Xia Qingyue. Would you agree if I challenge you to a duel?" Xiao Yulang said while still pointing at him.

"Sigh*. What makes you think I am stupid enough to accept it?"

"So, you're afraid of me? A cripple like you wanted to protect this beauty? Do you think everyone here is going to like you? Look at all of them. They're not laughing to celebrate you. They're laughing at you!"

Yun Che looked around while raising his eyebrow. Every people's expression was indeed funny. "Well, you are right about it."

Even Xiao Elders suddenly jumped and stopped whoever attempted to assist him. This time, no one is ridiculing Yun Che for being bullied by the strong. "Defeat that trash."

Yun Che still kept a relaxed expression as he heard people began ridiculing him. "So this is the world of ATG."

She felt nothing for him because the wedding was a promised marriage between his father and hers. She was grateful to the former for risking himself to save her. She even planned for him to find a concubine to replace her. Since the promise was fulfilled, she can ask this Yun Che to do so. She wanted to focus on cultivation instead of settling down. Some of the weaker people go with the flow. They just silently sent him condolences, and younger generations laughed at him. His elders didn't do anything to protect him. Xiao Yulang may be brazen but only gets simple punishment if all this is over.

Yun Che looked at Xia Qingyue and saw a face and eyes devoid of emotions. He sighed in his heart. Xia Qingyue did not even care. When all this is over, she'll return with her master to Frozen Cloud Asgard, while he will continuously be mocked even if he survives. "I'll let you make your moves. Come, I will not fight back. Who knows, maybe you will manage to put a scratch on me." Xiao Yulang continuously mocked him. Even if he has the cultivation of Fourth level Elementary Profound Realm, it was hard for ordinary people to injure him.

People around the manor laughed and made ridiculous bets if he had won this fight. As for Xiao Yulong, he was rolling on the floor laughing.

"Haha…You …sure..know…HAHA..how to make a dying wish cousin…." He said while still laughing.

"Tell you what, the clan wishes to grant any wish you had. Any fucking wish. All of them will be granted." Xiao Yulang emphasizes the last word. As he laughed, Yun Che was laughing crazily inside. Hoyuu was excited, and even Ossan had a smile on his face.

"That seals everything then." Yun Che said fearlessly.

"Hmphh…Piece of trash, let's begin..or are you afraid to move.." Xiao Yulong mocked him again.

Yun Che just smiled, and people started to think he was crazy. He stood still until he muttered a few words.

"System, initiate Shinigami Mode."
