Chapter 8: The Interference?

Well, he kissed her right on the forehead.

His Little Aunt was shocked. Usually, Yun Che took advantage of her. Kissing her on the lips at every chance, but this time….

She was about to say something but….

"I know what you're about to say…. "You kissed me, and now you must marry me? Am I right?" He said with an unusually calm expression. Not with the goofy expression he always had for her.

"Some other time then….".Yun Che just gave her a smirk before continuing to prepare. His Little Aunt was shocked. How did he know and his teasing?

"Little Che..You meanie….baddie…pervert…..rapist.."

"That last one was unnecessary. Do I even look like a rapist?" He sweatdropped on the last comment.

His Little Aunt smirks and laughs at his comment.

"Young master, let's go", said the attendant once more.

All right then. Time to give them a show of a lifetime. He suddenly smirked and prepared plans to slap every face in this city.

His little Aunt was still pouting, though. After remembering something about his promise to Little Aunt, he reassured her. That puts a smile on her face.

He walked directly to the hall of the clan. There he saw someone that made him reveal his killing intent. Xiao Yulong and Xiao Yang. Those bastards who murdered him. He wanted to slip into his shinigami mode and rip their souls out. He wanted to play nice after this. "I'll hunt you down one by one. I'll even use you all to level up."

Instead of the usual conversation in the real story, he walks passed them before saying, "I guess your plan didn't work, huh?"

"Xiao Che, what are you saying?"

"Nothing. The air felt a little sour back in the room."

Xiao Yulong's expression suddenly changes. Then he decided to pour gasoline into the fire. "Oops, my bad. I could've sworn I was dealing with an adult. They could've planned better than this."

Xiao Yulong was surprised and immediately showed his killing intent. The original Yun Che likes him despite knowing he is the murderer. For him to have glared like that makes him feel inferior. Yun Che gave him a middle finger before walking away like it was nothing.

Yulong gritted his teeth in anger. "You piece of trash, it is weird that you didn't die. Good. I'll be sure to humiliate you during the wedding." He vented his anger at Xiao Yang for failing to kill him and planned something that might be a stepping stone for Yun Che.

Yun Che was riding along the city road with the groom's team. His enhanced senses allowed him to see and hear the city's discussion. From what he heard, the whole city despised him for marrying the flower of their heart. A rare jewel contaminated by mud. His senses were part of his soul. Thus, he could use it despite being a cripple.

He might be cool on the outside, but on the inside, he wanted nothing more than to obtain the Evil God's Inheritance and begin his rampage level up in the forest. Hoyuu, on the other hand, was smiling ear to ear when he sensed Yuuki's hatred. He mentions his plan to transform into a hollow during the wedding, but Yuuki rejects it immediately. People will see him as a demon or monster if he transforms. Yuuki has other plans for it.

After he arrived, he immediately saw his friend. More like the brother-in-law now.

It excites him even more after seeing what he looks like. He'll guess who. He looks like Trunks Brief. The younger version of him.

He heard a wild cry when he saw Xia Clan's main entrance. A tall, sturdy figure ran over to Yun Che.

Yun Che read about him in his system's trivia. He knew what would happen in the future and how he would influence the entire world one day. The man was one of the essential people in his current life. One day for sure, he'll influence his growth. By the way, he's quite the eater. After catching up for a while, Yuanba said that his sister was ready. This woman suddenly makes Yun Che smirks.

"Is something wrong, Brother in Law? You look odd." Yuanba spoke with a somehow scared expression. He has never seen him so odd before. Usually, he would be happy and such but now…..

"Oh, nothing, Yuanba, just be prepared for a show of a lifetime." Yun Che said, making his way to the central stage. Yuanba thinks his brother-in-law means the show was the wedding, but he doesn't know that the real show is far different from the original. When Yun Che makes his way to the stage, he sees someone other than his Little Aunt, friendlier towards him, Uncle Xia Hongyi. The father of his wife and Yuanba.

Yun Che took a second to reread the trivia and saw almost everything about him. He treated him as nicely as possible. It wasn't masked but pure kindness.

This "Father in law" always gave him a pep talk and treated him as a son, even if he was a wasted cripple. Something that Yuuki understands well. It's not every day when you once lived as a living weapon, but there was always somehow who treated you kindly. That someone will always be on his mind no matter how small the kindness was given.

Xia Qingyue appeared between the arms of two bridesmaids. She wore a red phoenix coronet on top of her head. A fine curtain of beads hung down from the phoenix coronet to completely cover her face while hiding her current expression. Her soft and shiny white hair fell gently behind her shoulders. Her straight scarlet robe was decorated in the "four happiness" cloud pattern, and the belt nicely displayed her slender, narrow waist. A charm made of exquisite jade hung on her belt while pearls dangled at its tassels, matching her golden shoes. These essential details made her magnificent outfit even more dazzling than ever.

When he walked to her, he saw it. Despite the beautiful eyes she possessed. The eyes he saw were devoid of emotions. The eyes he despised the most. When she looked at him, he felt she was looking at him like a piece of trash. Even after he reads her trivia, he wants nothing more than to let her see him with eyes of love, but for now. He wanted to smash her ice heart into a million pieces.

He smirked again.

"Seeing me like that and treating me like trash. I'll show you what it means and what feels like being stomped."

He proceeds with the wedding and reluctantly holds her hand. What he felt was his hand was pierced by cold energy. Xia Qingyue sent him a message saying, "Don't try anything stupid."

"Guess someone doesn't like to be touched." He murmured.

Due to his crippled body, he could not find the cold energy, but the system blocked that energy instantly and contained it, so he didn't hurt himself. Seeing the notification, Yun Che felt sour, really sour, after being treated like this. Hell, he was different from his previous world. He's the type to treat kindness with kindness, but if someone mistreats him for something he didn't do, he might pay it back tenfold.

Xia Qingyue widens her eyes as she feels a minor sharp pain in her hand. She immediately yanks it off him before examining it. Yun Che, however, plays a dumb look before looking at her actions like a confused person. He shook his head before simply watching the things he unfolded. Her eyes, however, stare straight into his calm stature.

He was supposed to be a cripple. How did he counter the frost energy? She pushed the things back to the back of her mind as she wanted to focus on the wedding. She was reluctant to touch his hand again. She was afraid that any tricks she used after this would backfire.

Looking at her, he sighs. "Look, if you don't want to hold my hand, then it's fine. Let's stay like this and get it over with."

Xia Qingyue was confused for a moment. A few days ago, he was the happiest man after he knew he was betrothed to her. She expected him to drool over her as all men gazed upon her beauty. Men like that who value their beauty rather than themselves are the type she dislikes the most.

Now, the man next to her didn't even have a happy look on his face. He was the same as her. It is a look that lacks the emotion people show if they want to be married.

Finally, they were married, and their relationship was recognized. The wedding was filled with laughter, but Yun Che felt irony in that laughter. It was more like mockery for him.

Qingyue took her veil off, and the entire manor was shocked. She was beautiful, too beautiful to be described. Yun Che was shocked as well. Her face was somehow unfamiliar to him, but she was indeed beautiful for the eye could see. Pleasing to be someone cold and had the highest stature.

He understood that this woman married him to fulfil a promise between his adoptive father and her father. She was indebted to the former for saving her life. She was willing to marry a disabled person like him to fulfil that promise and repay him. Due to her status as a Frozen Cloud Asgard, she is not willing to be touched by men. More or less married. He understood that part and why she wanted to be a hardcore cultivator.

As for why he hated her, he hated her for treating their marriage as something that could be arranged so she could cast it aside once everything was done.
