She had considered herself a peerless genius to have mastered the technique at tier 4 but now she found out a tier 2 Master not only did the same but could fight her to a standstill.

"I admit defeat"Lenneth said. There was no need to continue this pointless duel since it's obvious they were evenly matched right now and Xuanyuan was two tiers below her. If Xuanyuan was at tier 3, she won't be able to defeat him. She'd have to advance to tier 5 at the very least to defeat Xuanyuan.

"Now as per our bet, what do you want from me?" she asked.

"I can't really pinpoint what I can extort from you" Xuanyuan replied feeling an headache brimming in his head.

"I don't have that much time to waste with you" She said. If she wasted time with Xuanyuan she might end up being unable to leave this place for life.

Xuanyuan heaved a deep sigh. Within these few days, he'd experienced too much. From dealing with the soul warriors, assimilating soul crystals, improving his Mental concentration and now fighting a tier 4 Valkyrie, all these had taken a toll on his mental state even if he had enough Mental concentration to spare. He definitely had to rest for a while once he left the legacy land.

He looked around, there was no more opponents to fight in this trial ground so he looked around for clues that would lead him out of this place but even after flipping the whole place upside down for a whole hour, he couldn't find anything.

"This is so frustrating" He whined as he returned to his original position.

Just when he was going to lose his temper, the scene around him suddenly changed. Though he was still in the same place, he could vaguely hear divine chants that stirred his mind.

Before he could pinpoint where they were coming from, a lone figure radiating sacred glows could be seen descending from the sky as a suffocating aura accompanied by a terrific mental pressure suddenly spread out throughout the whole hall.

This figure slowly descended but as as it hovered at a height about of about 10 metres above the ground, the pressure was so unbearable that Xuanyuan was forced to kneel on the ground grunting as he tried his best to resist this mysterious aura that was unlike anything he'd ever experienced in the Realm of spirituality.

"tier 6?" Xuanyuan exclaimed with difficulty.

Indeed, that was Divine might, the aura unique to tier 6 Gods in the Realm of spirituality and could force all existences below tier 6 to their knees.

Tier 6 Gods were legendary existences in the Realm of spirituality and players and even NPCs had no clue relating to them making Divine might a rather strange term to players in the Realm of spirituality. But in quests of high difficulty, dungeons and even ancient ruins, one could encounter items belonging to tier 6 Gods and the main sign to identify them is Divine might!

This Divine might is a terrifying, omnipotent aura that players had difficulty resisting even though it's only on items and not the authentic one tier 6 Gods would radiate. This was Xuanyuan's first time encountering this aura so one could imagine how he's feeling right now.

He felt as if he'd been submerged in liquid metal and he could only blink his eyes with difficulty. Moving other parts of his body proved to be a more difficult task. Xuanyuan was in awe at how this figure was able to deal with him with just the aura it's radiating but he was even more concerned wondering if he'd to fight against this person again.

He'd already expended so much while dealing with Lenneth and he'd only won because the latter had chosen to concede. If she'd insisted on fighting to the death, he could've lost against the Valkyrie.

But now, the existence above him was one who could make even legendary existences like the first Saint and the dragon Saint flee with their tails between their legs. If Xuanyuan was asked what his chances of defeating his new opponent was? It was 0! No chance at all. Be couldn't even move his fingers let alone grab his sword. He couldn't help but rain curses at the one who designed this trial.

"You're an exceptional young lad" the figure radiating Divine might said and his voice sounded profound as if it represented the word of the heavens. But to Xuanyuan, it made resistance even more difficult as his voice released sound waves that carries the mental power of a tier 6 God. Even though it's not the real deal, the pressure is still unbearable for him. This made him more certain that he was doomed to fail this trial no matter what.

"Who are you?" Xuanyuan asked with difficulty.

"I am the Ancient God of humanity" the Ancient God replied.

"Greetings to the Ancient God!" Xuanyuan saluted while doing all he could to withstand the terrible pressure. No wonder Gods are so feared and respected. Thank God the various NPC powers didn't have tier 6 Gods among their ranks. Developing would have been impossible for player forces.

"I didn't quite agree with the decision to confer you the status of the Ninth Saint previously but now I believe they had made the right decision" the Ancient God added.

"How did you know I became the Ninth Saint? Aren't you supposed to be dead?" Xuanyuan asked.

"You are still too weak to pry into the matter involving Gods like me. But I can tell you that I'm not dead" the Ancient God said...
