Currently seven crosses of light streaked through the hall as they shot towards Xuanyuan each carrying power at tier 4 peak standard. Even a Saint would have to take such an attack seriously.

"As expected of a Valkyrie" Xuanyuan muttered. "But this isn't enough to overwhelm me either"

<Thirteen thunder swords strike>

Xuanyuan raised his sword and swung them rapidly sending a total of thirteen swords with electric arcs flickering around them at the incoming sword lights giving rise to loud booming sounds that shook the whole temple. Spatial cracks appeared everywhere as the surrounding space couldn't handle the clash between these two monstrous existences who remain firm in their original positions. The outcome was obvious at a glance. They were evenly matched.

<tier 4 skill: sword river!> Lenneth executed another tier 4 spell as numerous swords shot towards Xuanyuan at breakneck speed. Xuanyuan calmly responded by executing <Lightning rampage> sending 99 swords each carrying power at the tier 4 standard at the incoming swords. The surrounding space thoroughly shattered this time as the two devastating attacks capable of wiping out armies collided. If not because the building had been built with high quality materials and equipped with powerful Magic arrays, it would have collapsed to the shockwaves generated of their battle.

The duo didn't hold back their powers as they battled with their full powers. Xuanyuan had to agree that this was the battle he enjoyed the most ever since he began playing in the Realm of spirituality. His blood boiled as he fought against the tier 4 Valkyrie who didn't appear any inferior to him in any way.

'Valkyries are terrifying indeed' Xuanyuan muttered as Lenneth effortlessly blocked his <Overwhelming sword>. If any ordinary tier 5 Saint was standing in his shoes, the battle would have been concluded long ago.

"Try this" Lenneth said as she suddenly took a step backwards.

Then a mysterious ripple spread out with herself as the centre. At first, Xuanyuan thought it was a Mana domain but he realized how wrong he was when the space around him began transforming at a rate visible to the naked eye. Although, they remained in their original positions, they were now in a separate dimension created by Lenneth. Xuanyuan felt an unbearable pressure stripped him of his ability to fly and he crashed heavily to the ground. Then a familiar scene played out before him.

When he had challenged the tower of Evaluation in the holy temple of Humanity, he had been overwhelmed by the Saint at the ninth level unable to put up any resistance. This was because the Saint had casted a mysterious domain where Xuanyuan was unable to use any Mana. Lenneth had also casted the same technique, <World manifestation!>

<World manifestation> was another abstruse technique in the Realm of spirituality similar to Mana domains but was an advanced method of manipulating Mana. Not only were its working principles more profound than Mana domains, the effects of both arts were worlds apart. With Mana domains, you could influence Mana within a certain region to suppress opponents. This works especially if the opponents were of lower tier. That's why Zerg tactics are rendered utterly useless against such existences.

But <world Manifestation> allows it master to directly condense a small world where the master is the absolute ruler and could decide the operation of ambient Mana. Under such a condition, hostile units would be terribly suppressed unable to use Mana while allies would be boosted by a large margin. This technique was so powerful that it could make Xuanyuan who has such an extraordinary control over Mana was forced to the ground and had to rely on his innate abilities to withstand the pressure. Even so, his movement speed was slowed down that even a tier 0 player could keep up with his movements. If any other player were in his shoes right now, he wouldn't even be able to raise his head!

"Even you couldn't withstand it" Lenneth let out a victorious smile as she scrunitized Xuanyuan whose mind was racing towards how he could counter this move from the Valkyrie.

"Now it's no fun anymore!" She lamented. She had desperately hoped for Xuanyuan to counter this move so she could legally leave this legacy land she'd be trapped in for a long time. If not because she had to follow strict procedures, she'd have already admitted defeat so he could win.

She snorted in annoyance as she simply swung her sword at Xuanyuan. Although it was only a simple sword strike, the power it held wasn't any inferior to what she exhibited beforehand due to the buffs received for being the ruler of the small world she'd casted. Against the normal Xuanyuan, that's only a light tickle but when weakened, it would be quite fatal.

But Lenneth's victorious expression suddenly changed to that of astonishment. She was dumbfounded when she saw that her attack that was supposed to be enough to heavily injure Xuanyuan just dispersed into wisps of Mana once it got struck him. What's even more surprising is how Xuanyuan's feet left the ground and he slowly levitated and stopped at the same height as her.

"You mastered world manifestation?" she asked in doubt.

"I guess it's not as abstruse as I thought" Xuanyuan chuckled lightly but Lenneth felt like beating him up when she heard that.

What was World Manifestation? It was a technique even tier 5 powerhouses had difficulty mastering and the number of people who had mastered World Manifestation in the Realm of spirituality are not up to 150 and each of these powerhouses could take on multiple Saints all by themselves. Only terrifying geniuses like Lenneth could master the art at tier 4. But it's unheard of for a tier 3 king to master world manifestation much less a tier 2 Master.

'Are the modern adventurers this monstrous?' she thought.
