"But soon, a great calamity will befall the Realm of spirituality, you need to get stronger to defend the Realm and learn the greatest secrets hidden to all" the Ancient God said. "Will you accept my legacy?" he asked.
"With honor, my lord" Xuanyuan replied without hesitation. This was the legacy of a tier 6 God in question. The value of this legacy isn't any inferior to legendary items. And one wouldn't necessarily trade the legacy for a legendary item.
Right now, he was already approaching the standard of peak tier 5 Saints like the first Saint and to improve, he'd need guidance from a tier 6 God and this legacy happen to be what he needs.
"This contains information you'll need, but you can only activate it by breaking the seals in it" the Ancient God explained as he threw a fist sized crystal radiating strong Divine might towards him. By now he'd adapted somehow to the deterrence of Divine might and could now move slowly barely enough to catch the crystal.

"I hope you won't disappoint me young man..." The Ancient God said and waved his hands sending Xuanyuan into a teleportation portal and leaving the legacy land.
"Has the time finally arrived?" The Ancient God muttered while looking towards the sky. He soon vanished from the hall leaving the legacy land which was never going to exist till eternity...
Meanwhile in the Holy temple at the Northeastern part of the city, Eight tier 5 Saints sat gloomily with a crestfallen expression on their faces. Their eyes portrayed the emotion of someone who just received the most important news of their life only to lose it again. It was easy to guess how they felt.
"It's been over three days since he entered that place. Do you think he's encountered something amazing or dangerous?" asked the eighth Saint.
"He probably encountered something amazing. I'm sure our ancestors won't betray someone with their bloodline" said the seventh Saint.
"Can you locate the spatial node he disappeared into?" the sixth Saint asked the third Saint.
"I can. But I don't know where it leads to" the third Saint said.
"If you try then we might locate the ninth Saint" the fifth Saint said. "We need to find him!" he added.
"Should I try to locate him?" the third Saint asked the first Saint who appeared to be in deep contemplation but eventually nodded and the third Saint began drawing various Magic arrays.
But just as the third Saint was halfway done with the arrays, they suddenly broke apart as a fissure appeared in space and a figure radiating strong mental energy flew out and landed steadily in the room.
"Ninth Saint!" they exclaimed.
"I'm back!" Xuanyuan greeted as he bowed slightly to the Saints.
"You must have gained many things in that place" the third Saint said with sparkling eyes as he sized up Xuanyuan.
Currently, Xuanyuan hadn't concealed his aura and he was currently radiating mental energy at the peak tier 4 standard. If not because the Saints themselves possess superior mental concentration, they wouldn't be able to sit so comfortably in the presence of such strong mental power.
They were particularly astonished at how Xuanyuan managed to increase his mental concentration standard by three levels within a single day. This was enough to cause tremors throughout the Realm if word got out. This was because, increasing Mental concentration was one of the most difficult things in the Realm of spirituality and this was particularly what was hindering the advance of numerous Emperors to Sainthood. It was even considered fast if one managed to advance by a level within six months. But Xuanyuan did this in a day. They wondered what kind of amazing treasure he'd encountered to make such amazing progress.
Xuanyuan only gave them a simple recap of his time in the legacy land before he bid them goodbye and left. But he didn't tell them about the calamity the Ancient God mentioned. He didn't know exactly what the Ancient God was talking about so he had to make certain investigations before he could consult the Great Saints. But for now, he had to defend the holy city.

It only took Xuanyuan about five minutes to arrive in the City Lord's Manor in Jade spear holy city.
But he didn't enter the city Lord's Manor directly. Instead, he entered the nearby adventurer's association which was crowded with players taking on quests from the organization.
Because Jade spear city was now a Holy city, the population of Noble NPCs in the city skyrocketed giving rise to rewarding quests been given in the adventurer's association. Now just taking on a simple quests already give rewards that rivals advances quests of the past. This is what makes a Holy city so valuable. Just developing in such a city already gives you a headstart ahead of other players.
And since Jade spear city had just gotten promoted, many new parts of the city has not been explored yet making the city even more valuable to the various powers. After all, most of the Holy cities had already been monopolized by terrifying NPC forces that current players cannot compete with. But this city is still in it's infant stage where many powers are still unable to spread their roots in the city. In other words, they were all back at the same starting point and nobody knows which dark horse Guild would just rise and gain control over the city...
