My Previous World
My vison was completely black as my consciousness was sucked into a small demi-plane where I could feel the energy of several hundred suns gather and shatter out into the void surrounding me.
Visions of a small hospital room soon replaced my environs as the hubbub and small sounds of a working hospital echoed and creaked around me. My body was the same as in Marvel so I did not have worries with regards to the validity of my existence within the multiverse i was dropped off in.
Coughs and shrieks emanated from the surrounding wards as i stepped out into the corridor. Nurses with small blue masks conversing with each other as they dealt with the after affects of Covid 19, I honestly never payed attention to the BS they were sprouting. Who cares about some 'supposed' pandemic when you're dying of cancer?
Not me.
Doctors shuffled in and out of separate wards as the chaotic and poor looking hospital's lights shuddered. Some of the patients reacted whilst most of the staff ignored it. As i was standing there the people around me ignored my presence, my ears hearing their conversations.
"That girl in ward 33, she died yesterday..."
"Really? Poor girl, those parents were assholes. They came all this way to the hospital just to ask if they were going to get charged for it... This is Australia for Christ's sake, they know it's free."
My teeth clenched as I heard that, knowing exactly who they were talking about.
'Those fucking cunts! So they did come, but not for me... Just to see if their purse was fucking untouched!' The room around me quivered as my power unintentionally leaked out. I stopped it moments later as I calmed myself with my ruler of emotion and continued to let the vision play out.
"That wasn't the first time they came here either. The last time they came to ask if they could donate her organs for money. We called the police on them but unfortunately the police were having problems with staffing due to the vaccine mandate."
"Really!? What a mob of bastards."
"Mhm... We couldn't even give her a painless death. We had an order from her parents that they don't condone it and even a court document saying that due to the patients' condition we weren't able to do it. I had to give her some horse shit about it not being legal just so she didn't break down in tears."
"Fuckers! If they were here I'd give them a fucking hiding!"
The conversation was obviously getting a little too loud as some of the doctors looked on in confusion at the two.
"Shh, keep it down. We shouldn't speak of this stuff out loud anyway."
My Emotion Domain was working overdrive to maintain my expressionless face as the many faces of random people walked by in the next 'two hours', what felt like it any way. My consciousness was still here and paying attention, some essence of myself wanting to find out what happened to it as it was more of a home to me than my own parents house.
Time slowed around me as a massive golden light billowed from the sky as a massive ship emerged from space above the planet. I felt a need to go outside and immediately felt myself outside within the vision. A large segment of Brisbane was wiped out as screams were heard. In seconds hundreds of circular drone-like spaceships broke off from the main ship and began to strafe the ground.
The scenes changed as i found myself in Paris then New York, then Tokyo, Moscow, Berlin, London, Beijing, Rome... It continued as similar scenes played out. Aliens had invaded and the entire human race was being targeted for extermination.
Military fought with the Aliens, struggling to stand against them as nuclear weapon struck our own cities to attempt to slow the invasion. The light of atomic bombs shone across the planet as the planet slowly became an irradiated waste land. Humans were stolen from the surface of Earth and raised within farms where they were then bred and used as food for the quadrupedal aliens.
Millenia passed and the entire planet was a bright orange ball filled with sand and desert, the aliens terraforming the planet for their own colony. The remnants of human society washed away and vanquished like the undesired left-overs at a party, fed to the dogs and scraps of humanity that served their masters as food and servants.
Disgust filled my stomach as vengeance soon filled the already vitriolic soul of mine. Seeing humanity brought down to this level, to this sickening existence by an inferior species of Aliens that couldn't even face her on her worst day!
'System... I want to go there.'
[It is possible host, It will take half of your mana to do so.]
'Don't give a shit... take me there.'
[Very well. Mana draining complete, have fun host. Also, you gain the entire knowledge of Humanity from your original Earth.]
A massive amount of information entered into my mind as entire stories, ideas, concepts and information entered my mind. I felt there was even a reward for the knowledge I had just obtained but I was ignoring it all as I descended onto the planet that was once Earth.
The entire atmosphere of Earth was toxic to Humans and was filled with Xenon, Sulphur Dioxide and several other smaller compounds. That was insignificant to me as I simply extended my glorious black wings and released my Reality Domain across the planet and started to chant in the language of Enuncia.
{THE PLANET SHALL RETURN TO ITS NATURAL STATE!}
As if the floodgates of reality had opened wide a massive white light shone over the planet and the chemical compounds that had made up the atmosphere were reverted and transformed back to the normal atmospheric composition of Earth.
With a massive shockwave the state of the planet was changed and all it took was a quarter of my mana. I teleported to the Alien's city to watch them all choking and struggling as they lost their 'air'. The humans strapped up with a rebreather looked around in confusion and worry as they watched their overlords fall over and start dying. Some of them had even looked at me who had all of my ten wings extended and billowing a black and white colour, creating streamers of energy that dissipated as they reached towards the sky.
Some of the people bowed down to me and started to call out in a foreign language that I quickly learnt. They had all been stripped of their ties to humanity and been raised as cattle. I grimaced and my eyes glowed.
{ALL HUMANS ON THIS PLANET GAIN THE ABILITY TO SPEAK ENGLISH}
A wave of reality rippled across the entirety of mankind as they all quickly gained the ability to speak English as if they had been speaking it their entire lives.
"Goddess! Please do not vanquish us!"
"Get up you fucking fools!"
They all flinched before standing, their bodies emaciated and covered in bruises, even the women.
"Your ancestors were proud humans with so much pride it fucking hurt, why did you allow them to whip you into this..."
I gestured to them all as I started to slowly float in the air.
"Sister?"
I froze as i looked down at a twenty year old woman who looked suspiciously like my mother, her face was somewhat familiar to my own and even had a similar lilac colouration to the eyes.
'That's fucking impossible.'
A spark in my mind told me it was in fact very possible and that my parents had been some of the first humans to be put into breeding farms where they proceeded to make descendants for the rest of their lives, up until the age of eighty where they were then ended. This woman in front of me was indeed, technically, my sister, Elvenia.
"... Did they beat you too?"
She nodded timidly as she showed several wounds on her body. Boil marks, whip marks, cut scars, missing teeth and several missing fingers. She technically had a harder life than me, if you considered having your insides boiled thoroughly over the span of a year or two whilst your coughing out blood easy...
"I- They were cunts and I would have killed them in person if they ever came in front of me again."
She was nervous and twitching as I could feel her emotions turn sad and yearning. She was yearning for a proper family, someone she could share her pain with, some one to be there. A dull ache in my heart started to surface once again as my emotions were held tightly by the sheer strength of my domain.
"I see, you were born long after me, at least for you."
She seemed confused but nodded a little.
"People, of Earth, I am here to save you all and grant you redemption in new lands and a new multiverse." My voice boomed across the planet as the entire reality shook in acquiescence of my presence.
"Do you accept?"
A deep silence filled the entire planet as no creatures other than the humans were now present. With a massive inhale of Oxygen the entirety of the five million people on the planet shouted out.
