Akira grinned from ear to ear...

'My power feels overwhelming... this might take some getting used to, but it should provide a decent challenge for now...' Akira thought. Clenching his fists...

'I feel just as strong as I would in my full werewolf state, but my speed needs testing...' Akira thought, looking ahead...

The woman had a shocked expression behind her hood... she was baffled at what was transpiring in front of her... Something that wasn't supposed to be feasible was now possible...

'How can he have our transformation? The werewolves that intermingled in human society shouldn't have that capability... Just what are you? She pondered, questioning both the boy and reality in her mind...

She braced herself... if this form was anything like her own. This battle would be a little more tricky than what she planned...

However, Akira would now be going on the offensive...

In a split second. He disappeared from her vision completely, leaving nothing but an afterimage behind...

'Where did he go?' She thought, looking around...

"I'm behind you." Akira said.

The woman twisted quickly, trying to slash at the boy, but he was gone again...

'How is it possible that he is so fast? Our transformations don't have such a capability even among the highest of our blood. Furthermore, his transformation isn't even in its complete state...' She thought.

As of now, Akira was leagues faster than her in speed... she didn't have the slightest chance of reacting to him at all...

Akira reappeared once more and then delivered multiple blows around her abdominal area... Then backing away quickly...

'*tch!* She's tougher than I thought. It almost feels like him hitting a steel wall... I doubt my hits did anything to faze her...' Akira thought, darting around the forest, creating countless afterimages...

'He's even faster than me, I can't deny that...' She thought, slightly frustrated...

'...It's time I stop holding back against this child... he's proving to be a bit too troublesome...' She thought, sharpening her gaze.

A bluish energy started to manifest around her body... her eyes then glowed a feint blue color as her aura...

'...My instincts are telling me to get outa' here.. But my pride says something else entirely...' Akira thought, grinning a little...

He was clearly excited about what was eventually going to happen...

His fur started to stand up in excitement...

"I hope you're ready, little rascal. Although you were most impressive. Monstrous even... I'll be putting an end to this game." She stated, her aura bursting from her body...

The ground beneath her started to crack, creating a spiderweb like crater...

Akira braced himself, smiling behind his mask...

Both stood motionless... A leaf between them was falling as if to start the fight...

As it fell, both dashed towards each other with speeds far beyond what the eye could track...

Akira barely dodged her blows. They were now completely even in speed...

'So this is her true power... and she hasn't even transformed!' Akira noted... barely dodging her strike once more, then returning his own. Only for it to be blocked easily...

"It's most impressive that you are able to keep up with me, especially since you aren't able to use 'aura'..." she commented...

Akira said nothing in response. He was only trying his best to fend off her attacks, and that was barely working...

Every strike she threw had to be parried with caution... since if he slipped up. It would be bye-bye to his life as he knew it...

"The fact you can keep up with a warrior like me in combat is even better... I'm beginning to like you even more, you little rascal." She said, smiling behind her hood...

Akira was slowly but surely farming his points. He was slowly getting stronger, and he was buying time for it...

As the clash continued, her attacks only grew deadlier... however, a warm sensation filled Akira's being...

His strength was rising sharply every couple of seconds that passed...

'...That must have been my fourth perk level-up... I need to keep her more occupied with fighting me...' Akira planned. However, it would be cut short...

The sirens sounded in the background...

The female glanced towards the area where the sounds came from...

'*Tsk* The humans are here already!' She thought, backing off.

Akira did the same, unmoving from where he was...

'I thought the authorities would come a little later, but I can accept this...' Akira thought. He looked a bit clobbered after the whole fight... but it was well worth it in his eyes...

"You got off the hook this time... the next time we meet... 𝘺𝘰𝘶, 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘣𝘦 𝘮𝘪𝘯𝘦!" She said, dashing towards the mountains...

Akira simply shrugged...

"...We'll see about that one..." Akira stated... Dashing away as well...

The system was truly powerful, and with my 'talent' finally shining through... All this progress was made within the time, of around ten minutes... This was more than worth it...

Looking at my transformations list... That was truly overpowering. My strength increased five-fold, and my speed, thirty-fold. While the strength increase was good, it rose too quickly for my liking... so I'll need a few days to adjust to the power accordingly...

Looking ahead...

I saw my mother out in the yard, probably waiting for me... I quickly waved to her...

I'm thinking back on the situation... I probably won't be able to leave for a while...

At least I'm absolutely confident in my strength for the plot of wolf-guy...

For once... I feel sorry for Haguro...
