A Hidden Beauty

Third Person's POV

"Now that the blood of our hero won his fight, It's time for the next battle!" Deshy yelled in excitement.

She eared he throat before speaking once again, "Next battle, Maria and Mana and Reyna! Before we start, I would like everyone to know a few things. Three players are chosen by majority by the Masters attending the tournament and they are Kimmi, Maria and Mana, and Ryuki."

The two came front in silence. The twins are looking at Reyna in the eye hoping the they might read her thoughts even if it's just by chance. It's a bit scary to charge without knowing your enemy's forte.

Reyna, on the other hand, is just standing there, but weak points can't be seen in her pose. Light wind blows away her long hair and some portions of her long red gown paired with sandals.

Reyna is a beautiful girl looking like a weak red rose on a field. Her clothes and stace is not for battle, yet her eyes is ready for any fast movements of the enemy.

Unknown to many, her long gown hides different weapons there. Not just that. If she's a Knight, then she has a Loot Box with her. There's no doubt in that.

"Care to move?" Reyna raised an eyebrow.

"If there's no opening, we'll make one," Maria pushed Mana into Reyna's direction and went ready for support.

Mana held out her hand into Reyna's direction and chanted, "Devil's Hug,"

Black hands with pointed nails with red nail polish came out of the air in front of Reyna, but it was blocked with the soil forming a shield, blocking the hands away.

In a moment, Reyna suddenly appeared in front of Maria who chanted the spell, and kicked her right into her abdomen enough to make her throw up some blood.

Mana laughed after being kicked and spitted in her sandals, "Didn't the academy taught girls to wear proper clothes, not gown that feminine and weak girls would,"

Another blow landed on the same place making Mana cough up more blood the the previous one, "Didn't the academy taught us girls to stay a woman despite being a weapon since we'll be using it at the right moment," she looked at Mana disgustingly.

Mana was about to stand, but Reyna stepped on her back and kicked her like she was just a toy. Maria, who can't fight back, stayed at a distance to keep herself safe.

If she's far from Mana, Reyna will surely target her next, and it will be the time she goes for Mana and heal her since she's the main fighter between the two. Even though they're two, the magic they use can mostly only be for support and nothing further.

"Abandoning your sister like that. What a shameless sister are you," A disgusted look left Reyna's face as she stares back at Maria's eyes.

Maria bit her lips and lightly bowed her head lightly, trying to calm her nerve. She clenched her fists and closed her eyes, but her anger cannot be stopped.

"Enchantment," she touched the ground making it slowly grumble making statues made out of hardened stone appear.

There were five stone statues in total, and every one of them represents one person—Mana. It was copies of her holding a book with a hexagram symbol in it's cover.

Reyna charged towards them. One, two, three four. She kills them one by one without trying to hide her lust for violence with the use of a pair of sickle on both of her hands . She keeps on attacking until her came panting heavily while a smile is displayed on her face.

'Four? Could it be. . .' She diverted her gaze back to Mana as fast as she could, but she could not see anyone there anymore.

When she diverted back to Maria, she was standing there, holding hands with Mana who was now healed without any scratches or even scars left on her skin.

'They're though,' she thought.

"So, aren't you tired? This is already your second time, give it up for the ones who did their best,"

"This brat!" The twins was filled with anger, but still, unison in their voice is there.

They both charged in and went for Reyna's neck. Once they grabbed it, they pushed her into the ground, Mana with her right hand and maria with her left. The part that they touched glowed purple for a second, but disappeared right away.

"What spell is that, Glowing Spell?" Reyna laughed hard after giving a grin into the twin's faces.

"Move," Reyna became serious and a piece of soil was launched towards the two's shoulder.

The serious face she holds wan now a shocked one. Seeing the strike hit their shoulder's vital point did. It was supposed to be a big rock that will break break their bones, but it turned out to be like that.

"Beauty has different forms. For me, it's not physically, I had enough of their complements and the way they would say they love me, but it was only because of physical beauty," strong wind gushed and blew the twins hat away. This time, Reyna had a better view of Maria and Mana.

There revealed Mana. She used bobby pins to keep her short hair more shorter and used her hat to cover up the whole hair. No one knew, there hides a beautiful lady there.

"Don't talk as if you're stronger than us. It's just that Gin is stronger," Black mist covered every part of Reyna's body except for her head.

She slowly rose up and the twins pointed their hands opened towards her direction making Deshy call it their win.

"Winner: Mana and Maria!"

"I didn't know they have this," said Koshiro.

"They don't. Only if one master mention it, they can vote for the player to be able to continue. They might've found a potential in those three," Gin replied.

"That's why our parents always reminds us to not judge a book by its cover," Lira spoke from behind with the master's and his brother who is in shock.

Sometimes, Koshiro doesn't know if Riven is a pervert, or he has a sister complex. He would be strict when it gets to any type of contact near her sister from touch, going near her, laughing or talking with her to looking at any part of her. Riven's very frightening when it gets to those kind of things.

"Hot, aren't they? Haha! How's that, people?!" Athena laughed filled with pride. She enjoy this kind of events the most. Nothing less to be expected if it's the Queen of the Battlefield.

"Oh, my, oh my! So you knew it all along?! This is quite a shock for you, my friend! Haha!" Feiro laughed in his clown tone as he speaks.

"You guys are here? I didn't realize that." Gin gave a weird look in his face. It feels like it looks like a bother for him if you look closely.

"So, you guys came to watch?" Asked Koshiro.

"H-hello," Hela greeted in her usual tone. As always, she hides behind Ireena who always have her elegance and nobility displayed, but also shows an aura on enthusiasm in the happenings in her surroundings.

"The game's a mess. It's getting boring."

Just by how the game paces, it shows that the game was too boring. The game was too short, which is hated by most people. No fun if it takes too long, but as long as the players are strong and fighting unexpectedly. Preference are hard to meet, so they can't do anything to change it.

Lira handed out a basket in her hand filled with chocolates she made, "Here, this might help."

The chocolates wasn't an ordinary one. Usually, in games, food have different side effects. Some can increase your HP, MP or status, but in RoK, you can only increase your HP and MP using a certain type of chocolate. In the contrary, status can only increase if you use a skill over and over and win the battle.

"Don't just accept fights that easily, kid. I know that you know that people worship money more than those who are wealthy. You're making your own enemies. Don't always rely on your masters influence." Athena warned.

Riven, on the other hand, replied instead, "In the eyes of this city, Koshiro is worth more than a dozen of gold bars, selling him is selling themselves. No one would betray nor sell him , and if someone does, that person's life might even be taken." He puffed thick smoke after his words.

"Oh? Is this kid that special that they would be willing to kill a citizen? Interesting. . ." Ireena stared at Koshiro with a hidden intention.

"He's a figure that stands for decades. The fourth figure and the Third Ancient Hero, Crimson Gale. He's more of a celebrity than you think," Boredom was in Riven's tone, but he's secretly stating those words proudly.

"We'll be going now, dear apprentices!" Feiro pulled Riven away while Lira waved to them before leaving.

"Next Battle, Arriel and Kimmi!"
