Another One

"What are you doing here?" Izuku demanded.

"I want to help you to do good. I want to be a vigilante." Momo shouted.

Izuku didn't know what to do. He didn't want to put anybody else in harm's way, and he already had to take care of Neri. He didn't want some useless baggage wasting his time. On the other hand, though, he needed a sidekick. Someone that he could trust to protect his back in a fight and help him gather intel. Neri would have been that for him, but Izuku new that the boy was too young and inexperienced. Neri needed training.

Izuku finally decided that he decided that he didn't need a new sidekick. The girl had no experience when it came to fighting criminals, and she would be a nuisance because of that. He didn't want anybody to die because she was too incompetent to save them.

"No!!" Izuku shouted, "Leave!!"

Momo became very angry at Izuku's comment. She just wanted to do good and save people, but Izuku wouldn't allow her. She decided to calm down and press on. Deku was Momo's hero. He rescued people not because of the money but because he genuinely wanted to. There were a lot of fake heroes that did their jobs only for the money. Deku wasn't like that.

"Please give me a chance," Momo said earnestly.

Izuku looked at her, wondering whether he should consider her to join him. She had a beautiful physique, abs, and muscle. It looked as if she had trained for a long time. Izuku decided to give her a chance. Whether or not she did anything with it was her choice.

"Ok, I'll give you a chance. If you can hit me once, then you can join my team. Come," Izuku said.

Momo was very angry at the last statement Deku had made. To her, it was arrogant because she didn't think that anyone was strong enough to dodge all her attacks.

"Are you sure that you want to do this challenge?" Momo asked, "It might be too easy for me."

"Just attack!!!" Izuku shouted.

At that moment, Momo attacked. She started with a jump kick, trying to take Izuku by surprise bu Izuku just dodged. She attempted a barrage of punches and then ended with a roundhouse kick, but Izuku avoided all of them and started yawning. Izuku was taunting Momo with action, making her angrier so that her thoughts would be clouded, and she wouldn't be able to hit him. The strategy was working; she was progressively getting worse and worse at aiming at him.

Izuku was very surprised by her attack speed and precision. If he hadn't turned into an adult, he wouldn't have been able to dodge all the strikes.

"She's good," thought Izuku, "Maybe she is sidekick material."

Momo noticed that hand to hand combat wasn't going well and so decided to use her quirk. She suddenly brought out a bo staff. She quickly slashed forward, giving Izuku no time to think.

Izuku hadn't factored in what her quirk was in the fight, but he always came prepared. When he was still training with Stain, he saw a hero called Ingenium that had a neat leg quirk. He thought that it would be smart to make shoes that copied its effect.

He attempted to make it but noticed that if he did, it would just injure his leg because of the amount of pushing power the shoes had, so he decided to take a different approach. He instead made anti-gravity shoes that allowed him to run faster because of the lessened gravity.

These shoes now helped him against Momo's bo staff swing. He quickly dodged, but it was too late. She had grazed his leg, meaning that she had hit him.

"You passed the test. You can join me, but you needed training," Izuku said.

Momo was ecstatic. Her hero had just allowed her to be his sidekick.

"When do we start?" Momo asked.

"Today, if you're up for it," Izuku said, "Also, what is your quirk?"

"My quirk is called creation. It gives me the ability to create any non-living object from my exposed skin by transforming my fat cells' molecular structure. To create something, I need to understand the molecular structure of the object I am making," Momo said.

"So, you can create anything you want except biological beings as long as you know what goes into that object?" Izuku asked to make sure.

"Yh, pretty much," Momo said.

Izuku was very happy at this. He could create anything he needed now that Momo was working with him.

"Great, let's start training," said Izuku, "Oh yeah, forgot to tell you but, you are going to have a training partner. Say hello, Neri."

Neri came out of the hideout and waved. Momo squealed inside at Neri's cuteness. She decided that she wouldn't hug him because of the fear in his eyes. She wondered why a kid would be so afraid.

Izuku split them up and made them focus on two different things. Neri was concentrating on controlling his powers while Momo was carrying heavy stuff in the junkyard and learning how to attack correctly. Things were going well for the first day of training. Neri was now able to control his power slightly, and Momo was doing better than expected. It seemed as if someone trained her in the past. Both Neri and Momo were worn out by the end of the day.

After training, Izuku decided to ask, "Momo can you create these materials and liquids. I want to use them to make something."

"Ok," Momo said as she quickly created them.

She was exhausted and wanted to go home.

While making the materials and liquids, Momo asked, "What's is your quirk?"

"I don't have one," Izuku said quietly, afraid of the discrimination she might have against him.

"So cool," Momo said.

Momo was honestly surprised, a quirkless kid fighting against a hoard of people with quirk was cool. She respected him more now that she knew this.

Momo finished and quickly left the area Izuku let a tear down his face, not knowing that Momo was still watching. He smiled and went back to his hideout to make new inventions. Momo smiled too.
