Quirkless (A Vigilante Izuku Story)

"He destroyed my soul that day. His brightly colored suit being the last thing I saw." My faith was lost. He broke my soul and smashed it again. I realized that I couldn't be a hero if the number 1 is a liar. Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/StrongRat1 *DISCLAIMER* I do not own any of the characters except for the ones I create. Anger Levels

Izuku woke up. He had slept on it and decided that he wanted to attempt getting a quirk. Aside from meeting All-Might, getting a power had always been his dream. When he got up from bed, he went to his lab and examined the vial again. He injected it into his veins. He didn't feel that different. He never had any powers, so that wouldn't change anything. That was his decision. If he took it and he didn't get a quirk, nothing would be different, and if he got powers, it would only enhance his abilities. He was satisfied with his decision. Izuku turned around and looked at Neri's sleeping face. Neri looked so tranquil when sleeping. He thought back to yesterday when he saw Neri. Neri seemed so frightened. He wondered if that vial might have triggered some memories for Neri. Neri was such a young boy, but he had been through so much already.

Izuku decided to make breakfast. As he was going to buy ingredients, he started to see his future memories. He didn't want to look into them in depth so that he doesn't end up ruining the future, so he tried to forget them. He got back and started to cook.

"Deku-san," Neri said as he woke up. "Don't get involved with that gang anymore. Please,"

"I will. That man's gang made you suffer, didn't they?" Izuku asked.

"Mhmm. I didn't remember until I saw that man. They kept me in a cell and beat me up every time I tried to escape. They wanted my quirk," Neri replied.

"Is that why that masked man was dragging you away?"

"Yes. I had just attempted an escape. That man is the leader,"

"Where are they?"

"I don't know."

"Well, I'm destroying them."

Izuku left the hideout and headed straight in the direction he found Neri in. It took him to a tall building. Izuku barged in and demanded to see the masked man. They denied. They seemed to know who Izuku was talking about. It went against Izuku's policies to kill, so he paralyzed them all with one sword and knocked them out with the electric knife. He went higher up. He saw that they had a lot of members, but their numbers meant nothing against Izuku's anger. Izuku dealt with all of them. Armed or unarmed, nothing could stop him now. Izuku was brimming with power. It wasn't a quirk, but the anger was causing him to move in ways he had never dreamt of before. In this frustrated state, he could even beat Stain. He was about to go to the top floor when a bullet shot him. It missed his vitals, but it still hurt. Izuku was looking for his attacker, but he couldn't find him. He kept on moving. Except for the bullet, Izuku was unharmed. He thought that he would see the masked man in the building, but he didn't. The top floor was full of a bunch of skilled criminals who gave him some injuries. Izuku hadn't used his gauntlets yet because he didn't want to drag unnecessary attention, but he had no other choice. After causing the explosion and knocking all of them out, Izuku left the building.

Someone was behind him. It was Momo Yaoyorozu. She had gone in the general direction she always saw Izuku going in and coincidentally heard the explosion. She followed his blood trail back to the beach and discovered his identity.

"You're the guy who's always on the news!" she exclaimed. "The white ghost,"

Izuku turned around to see who it was, and to his surprise, it was her. He was dumbfounded.

"How did you find me?" He asked.

"You always seemed to go this way. So I went in your direction and heard your explosion, Deku,"

"Well, don't tell anyone Momo,"

"I won't. I like what you do. The news makes you seem like a bad guy, but you only attack criminals. And you don't even kill," She said, "Your secret's safe with me," She dropped something on the ground "How come you look so... old?"

"It's a long story. I'll explain later,"

"So how about you tell me your real name," she asked.

"I'm Izuku Midoriya. But don't tell anyone. I'm legally dead."

She left after dropping something on the ground. She had used her quirk to make Izuku a suit. He wore it, then went back to see Neri.

Neri was worried. He hadn't seen Deku in hours. He thought that Izuku had died. As Izuku walked in, a sigh of relief filled the room. Neri ran and hugged Izuku. He was happy. Tears rolled down both their faces. Neri was like his younger brother. Izuku didn't like seeing Neri sad, and Neri wanted to be with Izuku at all times.

"Deku-san, train me, please. Make me strong like you. I want to be able to help you."

"I'll train you starting from tomorrow," Izuku said as he took Neri to bed. It was very late, and he too needed to sleep, but before that, Izuku decided to test on the vial.

The vial had been something on Izuku's mind for a while now. He had seen the effects it had on people and saw the power it posed. It could give power to the quirkless if Izuku ever got around to figuring it out and could also destroy quirks. It was powerful, very.

Izuku started to look into its other power, the quirk destroying power. At this point, the vial was only suitable for deleting quirks forever, but Izuku wanted to change that. He wanted to add a timer to it so that people wouldn't lose their quirks forever. He knew what it felt to be quirkless and didn't want that for others.

The way Izuku edited the serum was by adding in some components from the enhancer drug he had inadvertently created while trying to give himself a quirk. The enhanced drug had a time limit, and so he just added that into the serum. The way that the serum worked was that it would block someone's quirk for an hour. The problem was that Izuku didn't have a lot of resources and so he was only able to make one vial of it. Izuku decided to sleep.

The next day Momo decided that it was time to visit Deku. She walked towards the area of his hideout but was unsure of where he was. She had followed him before but never got into his lair. Unknowingly Momo had tripped a sensor causing for Izuku to come out sneakily from his hideout.

"Why are you here?" Izuku demanded.
