Mo Ling was the Male Lead, Mo Sheng's stepbrother, also the main antagonist of this novel. He has all the power and characteristics to become a perfect Villain Boss. He turned the world upside down by catching all the perfect criminals whom even the police didn't dare to provoke.

Yet later on, he himself became the greatest criminal, a cruel being who surpassed all of them in the path of becoming a villain.

And of course, it was after he saw the person he adored get married to his younger brother.

After watching him fall in an abyss of darkness, the Female Lead Wen Yue, whom he adored secretly all this time, went to meet him. No one knows what she said to him, but the next day, he appeared in front of a police station by himself and later died at the crossfire.

Wen Yue was the apple of eye for both the Male Lead and the Villain. Naturally, she will choose the Male Lead to live with for the rest of her life, but what Mo Ling did wrong to deserve this kind of ending?

Chen Yu didn't meet with him in the original, but now that she met him, she was wondering actually what did Mo Ling see on Wen Yue to see that made him fall for her so deep and desperately?

Was it because he liked girly girls like Wen Yue?

Chen Yu was wandering with so many thoughts in her mind that she totally forgot what she was doing here.

"Ahem," someone coughed lightly to attract her attention as she snapped out of her thoughts.

"Are you going to stand there forever or are you coming here?" a deep attractive voice made her take a look at him again.

'This voice…' Chen Yu widened her eyes.

Chen Yu's burning stare caused Mo Ling to frown. He didn't like this stare.

No one looks at him in such a weird way…

"What are you looking at?" Mo Ling asked Chen Yu with an annoyed voice.

"You!" Chen Yu answered him shamelessly without any hesitation.

Mo Ling almost choked when he heard her answer. All the girls he met till now, they immediately turned shy and obedient when facing him, no matter how crazy they were. None of them have ever really acted this shamelessly before.

What's wrong with this girl?

Mo Ling was a sharp and intelligent man. He immediately came to a decision after watching her act like this.

There are only two options, and this was whether she was guilty of doing something bad, or else, she was really a shameless one!

He looked at Chen Yu's 'Frail and Weak' appearance one more time. It seems that option one was really impossible for a skinny fifteen year old girl, who didn't know anything about the world.

Chen Yu would've vomited blood for the second time in a day if she were to hear his thoughts.

Well, anyway. Since it wasn't the case, then that means the second option is the right answer.

She was a shameless one!

After analyzing Chen Yu, Mo Ling decided to ignore her for the time being as he asked her to sit down.

"Yes, Sir," Chen Yu obediently sat down as she continued to observe his perfect face.

She was just fangirling over her favorite character a little, alright!?

All of a sudden, Mo Ling looked directly at her as he asked a question carefully , "Do you know anything about 'Red Vipers'?"

Chen Yu nodded her head as she asked him curiously, "I do. But do they have anything to do with this case?"

"Yes, they have. Tell me what you know about them," Mo Ling didn't know how she knew about Red Viper, but he wanted to grab that information.

"Um… let me think. Red Vipers are a kind of snake that are venomous and have long, hinged fangs that permit deep penetration and injection of their venom. They are…" Chen Yu started to take out her bookish knowledge.

Mo Ling, "..."

That's not what I wanted to know!

After an hour, the information he got was less than what he had from Wen Yue.

Mo Ling felt a little annoyed by her continued stare, but he wasn't irritated. Anyway, she was just a little girl, her stare won't make his face wear out.

"Done. You can leave now," Mo Ling said as he was arranging the papers.

"Then, can you please look at me for the last time, Sir?" Chen Yu asked him all of a sudden, which made him stop in his tracks.

"Why?" Mo Ling stood up straight as he looked at her.

"Nothing much. I just wanted to see your eyes for the last time," Chen Yu had a satisfied smile on her face.

Mo Ling, "..."

"And why is that? Because my eyes are pretty like jewels?" Mo Ling was tired of hearing the same words from everyone.

"Nope, not only for that," Chen Yu said in a calm voice.

"It's true that your eyes are pretty like jewels, but I wanted to see them not for this," she smiled mysteriously.

"I wanted to see your eyes because they are so clean and pure. I never saw such a clear and pure pair of eyes. This is really so astonishing!" Chen Yu said with her dreamy and sparkling eyes.

"Well, Since I already got what I wanted, I will not disturb you anymore. See you then," Chen Yu smiled and stood up as she walked and went out of the room, leaving a stunned Mo Ling behind.

'My eyes… are clean and pure?' Mo Ling never thought he would hear something like this in his life.

The room suddenly felt so hot that for the first time, Mo Ling really felt strange and uncomfortable living inside.
