Chapter 18:black cocoon

Red returned back to his courtyard with the white crystal in hand ,tho he did not know what the crystal is he felt that the crystal was connected to him and he needed it but he did not know how to use it. Red went to his room then he shut it tight,he was planning to immerse his consciousness into the crystal so he can observe it and find out what it is and how it is connected to him. Red knew very well that he wasn't the only one inside his body tho he had one soul like everyone else there was another part of him ,the one that gifted him his gift of Wisdom,Truth and Chaos. He had never used his gift of Chaos but he had the feeling that when he saw the crystal it drew out his gift of Chaos and resonated with his other gift connecting them all.

Red look at the crystal,the crystal didn't look appealing to the eye but it had something that made it attractive. He soon stilled his resolve and immersed his consciousness inside the crystal, what he saw inside the crystal was a boundless void that destroyed everything it passed through, the void was shrouded in pitch black darkness and it was followed by nightmare creatures. Nightmare creatures lived to destroy planes,they lived in the void and there were many of them with their number being inestimable. They could only be found deep in the void where there were no planes were present.

The void was engulfing everything that stood in its way but out of no where the void suddenly disappeared living only the white crystal floating between the boundary of Chaos and Order, seeing this the nightmare creatures spread out and returned to the back in the deep space where the void was present. Soon the scene changes and the void started to appear naturally outside of many planes,Gods and Legends tried to stop it but they found out that it was part of the natural law that created in the beginning of everything so the void continued to exist naturally.

While Red continued to observe the crystal, he did not notice his eyes turning crimson red but he soon felt a steering pain assault his mind,it was as if the crystal was trying to absorb his soul. Red tried to fight with all his might but it was to no avail because the more he fought was the more his soul was getting drawn inside the crystal. The colour of the crystal was also changing from pure white to pitch black,the crystal was starting to look as if it was a deep abyss that could swallow anything in its way. Red was still trying to pull back his consciousness from the crystal but it seemed to be laughing at him because it still pulled his soul inside ,Red trying to pull his soul out from the crystal was like trying to turn the sea into a desert by collecting water from the see using a bucket.

Red's soul was finally completely absorbed by the crystal but Red did not die nor did he feel himself to be alive but countless black strands came out from the crystal that Red was holding and they where wrapping around his body,some were even entering his mana flow. If anyone were to notice this scene then they would surely be shocked because they would think that Red was going to be possessed by an unknown creature, what humans feared was not the known but what humans truly feared was the unknown that lurked around.

The black strands finally surrounded Red and they had fully entered his mana flow becoming one with Red,it seemed liked Red was surrounded in a cocoon but only butterflies and other small animals and beast get surrounded by cocoons when they evolve do Red could not be said to be evolving, what was currently happening to him was unknown.
