Chapter 11:On the edge

Deep in the night a someone appeared from a corner but that body was not visible to the eye because it was shrouded by think darkness making it meld and become one with the night,that person was non other than Red. He came out to kill kill and kill then capture a survivor. Red melded his senses to become one with the darkness as he slowly looked around,his eyes were like two voids that were sucking all the darkness around them,this spell was a level 3 spell called 'Darkness Seeker'. Red saw all the people Fred had sent after him ,Fred sent a total of four people after Red all of them were assassins by profession taught to kill with a single strike.

The strongest one of the assassins was a level 15 assassin on the verge of become a 'High Assassin',the one hiding on the roof top of a building nearby was the level 15 assassin then on the right side of Red was an assassin that was slowly approaching him using his assassin arts to hide his aura and meld with the darkness. He was slowly approaching Red and once he was close within string range he pulled out a black dagger but before he could pounce on Red he felt a slight chill on his back then he twisted his body to the side but just as he was doing that he felt his lower back. The assassin's eyes closed as he could not understand how he had died

The assassin could not understand what was happening but what was happening was simple him being tricked by Red,as he was pulling his dagger out Red had tossed a silver coin towards his speed and the assassin instinctively dodged revealing his lower back to Red and allowing Red to deal a killing blow. But before Red could could do anything a cold blade was directed at the back of his head , Red's body moved as nimbly as a monkey narrowly dodging the attempt on his life but he didn't escape untouched his shoulder had been stabbed by the blade.

Red was standing a few meters away from the assassin as the assassin stared him coldly and said,"not bad for a dead man maybe I could collect my reward with effort put in".Red did not reply the assassin as he slowly clenched his teeth then pulled out the blade,he then pulled out a small bottle then poured the liquid on his wound stopping the blade then Red stared the assassin down and said , "this blade that entered my shoulder shall enter the trout of it weilder".

The assassin laughed thinking that Red was a mere level 10 intermediate mage what could he do to a level 13 assassin like him , he then looked at Red and said," your words are hilarious ".Red started running towards the assassin as he the retorted and said,"we'll see who gets the last laugh". Red was swift with his running, when he was within ranged he took of his mage robes and through them towards the assassin but the assassin dodged but he met with Red fist as he was about to cross his arms to blocked Red had moved like a mouse passing him and piercing through the darkness with the blade,then he pulled it out out then he stabbed four more times then when ,he met a large hammer headed towards him.

It seemed that the assassin had pulled out a war hammer from his space ring , Red jumped up and pushed his legs against the hammer reducing the effect the hammer would have towards him,when his feet came in contact with the hammer he fell back down then rolled on the ground,where the hammer struck a large whole formed. On the darkness where Red had stepped a total of five time another assassin fell out but he was not dead,his leg joins and arms joints had been stabbed by Red with his shoulder being stabbed two times, he was laying on the ground without being able to move,he looked pitiful.

Red got up with a spin on his body as he avoided another hammer strike but the hammer quickly turned hitting him on the chest and causing his to spit out blood. Red wiped out the blood on the conner of his mouth as he used his blessing of truth and wisdom to calculate the next movement of the hammer. The assassin struck his hammer on the ground trying to cause Red to lose balance but Ref was prepared he jumped up then kicked the wall behind and shot forward but he was met with a hammer. Red kicked the top of the hammer causing his right let fracture but he was able to not get killed,by kicking the hammer he shot back then used his left leg to kick the wall again shooting foward but before the hammer could cause him trouble again ,he pulled out a silver coin and threw it to the assassin then he said "the blade shall kill the weilder"

The assassin hearing that this was the blade sent to kill him he swung his hammer and he hit coin ,with the coin being light he lost balance which gave Red the chance to slip by and stabbed the assassin on the throat. The assassin wanted to say something but he couldn't, he could only slump to the ground with unwillingness.

Red looked at the assassin and then said "I fulfilled what I said ,the blade did enter its weilder's trout". Red then felt a sense of danger but before he could do anything a pitch black 10 inch dagger had entered his chest then he heard the words of a female behind him saying," your words were true but now you die". This was the level 15 assassin.
