Bold decision

The next morning Altair woke up and decided to go for a run with Riolu, although his skill could be used it still had its restrictions, like the number of times he could use it, in the beginning, he could use it 2 times in every 4 hours and after training, there could be seen an improvement.

Now he could use it 2 times every 2 hours which was an obvious improvement. What made his improvement? The physical training side or maybe the time he meditated with Riolu, but even if he knew what was he wouldn't change his training that much, after all, if you train your body there will always be advantages.

Talking about Riolus improvement in these levels 13 levels (she was 7) and I learned a couple of moves like Metal Claw, Counter, Workup, and surprisingly Sword Dance.

The first 3 moves are actually moves that they learn through leveling, but how smooth it is used depends on how they train it, and Riolu just improves at another level at least this is what Altair thinks. For example, Metal Claw move at first the only things that got coated by metal were the tip of the claws and in only 1 of the paws, and this required concentration. Remembering that this move is Steel-type and Riolu is only a Fighting type pokemon so there should be a lot of difficulty in improving the move but Riolu could already coat the claws in both of his paws and it can be done without any delay after all moves have a casting time if you may say unless it is moves that require impacts like tackle and all that.

(Metal Claw is a move that forms claws but it's better to just coat it and it will boost the next few attacks. Obviously, the more he can coat like the Density of the Steel and how long you can make them will grow the Attack in different degrees.)

And integrating Metal Claw with things like Quick Attack smoothly for sure wasn't something easy to do and Riolu could do it smoothly.

The surprise is in the fact that it learned Sword Dance, she saw a pokemon use Sword Dance in a movie and tried to do it secretly and one day it used in a spar against Altair. Which surprised Altair a lot, let's just think that Sword Dance is a move learned naturally at Level 40. But Riolu can only use it 1 time and she struggles quite a bit. But a fascinating thing is that the swords actually materialize, and actually exist for some time. This just means that it can be used to defend a projectile attack and boost the attack of a pokemon, 2 in 1. But unfortunately, it can only be used without any difficulty at the moment for 1 to 2 seconds and without the casting time, but Altair just makes Riolu train to reduce the casting time so it can be another line of defense.

Both Altair and Riolu do friendly spars against each other regularly now, its more Altair getting beaten up by his Riolu who mercilessly beats him up after she realized how it got played in the scene of the Bunnelby.

Well, Altair could be placed in the can protect himself group, and sparing with Riolu also helps him understand her and better allow him to instruct it in future fights. Besides he just allowed Riolu to fight alone vs Bunnelby because he had to give his Riolu a push to fight.

So after having a little run he decided to make his fight his Riolu but only allowing it to do Feint. Because there is actually a lot of ways that Feint can be used and the better it knows how to use it the better.

After all, he knows that in the game if you use Feint you can ignore moves like Protect, Quick Guard, Wide Guard, Detect. But this is in the game and in real life, it actually makes another image of the pokemon a little before it is supposed to hit the enemy, and in this period of time, the pokemon that uses the move has a window where the pokemon is distracted.

It is like when you do a straight punch and the person lifts his hands to guard that expecting that and you just drawback and do an uppercut. Something like that but the enemy just sees the image of the user of the move. At least this is what Altair experienced while fighting against Riolu, something makes him look at the image until the expected impact, so there is a window of about 1 second to use.

So the spar began and well go figure Altair got his ass beat. Although he can follow the movements, it is just hard to defend, it's an instinct a sane person has when they see something rushing at you and throwing a punch at you. But hey Altair's battle sense improved a lot comparing it from the outside. The simple fact that he can follow the movements of Riolu with his eyes is actually a lot for a human.

And something he dismissed before but his body just recovers at an insane speed. This could be seen from the spars the marks that were left sometimes just healed from one day to another. And no matter how tired he was in the day before if he manages to rest at least 6 hours he just wakes up without any fatigue or tiredness.

This is something that is beyond since although when your young you heal fast but when you do exercise, you will feel soreness in the muscles and nothing like that would be felt in Altair's case.

But this can be attributed to his new body after all even in meditation he could see a kind of energy in his body calming him and placing him in the best state for the meditation, and if he did extreme exercises in the day and he went to bed he could feel a refreshing feeling all over his body, nothing could be seen by the naked eye but he felt it except when he decided to see himself in the mirror when with the feeling and saw the solar eclipse in his forehead glow.

So it confirmed to Altair that one it wasn't just to look cool and there was some mystery relating to his body to explore. But Altair just dismissed it because the answer he thought would be the energy he felt when meditating and he knew the more he exercised and got stronger the bigger the amount of that energy he could use. So only time would tell.

With the sparing done they decided to go eat something rest and in the afternoon Altair decided to explore the outside world.
